The Beloved Woman of the President

The Beloved Woman of the President
Gavriel

The night was late enough, but in a room there were still people who had not slept. This person continued to stand in front of the open window of the room, not heeding the sweep of the wind hitting his face and body. It's cold, actually. But that doesn't make this guy flinch from daydreams. It seems like something important is disturbing the mind to make it behave like that.

“Briana, it's obviously you. I have trouble remembering that name. It turns out that when we were in the schooner, you introduced yourself by the name of Kellen. Yes, Kellen. A woman who seems forced to confess as a man. But why?”

After Lu fainted earlier this afternoon before he had time for therapy, a strange dream suddenly appeared in his head. Lu's subconscious brought him to see firsthand the events that had made his life suffer. In the dream, Lu saw very clearly how a man so brutally tortured and killed dozens of children in such a vile way. Then there were two boys who kept hugging and screaming hysterically every time the man acted. Gavriel and Kellen. A pair of ten and five-year-old boys sat curled up with pale faces when asked to watch a scene in which a child was snared by the neck using a knot and then hung to death. Try imagine. If you were in the position of Gavriel and Kellen, what would you do? And you must have fallen unconscious. But under the man's bluff, Gavriel and Kellen were able to maintain their consciousness until the torture was completed. In a state of fear, they lay on the floor while continuing to hug. From there, Lu finally remembered why Briana's embrace was familiar. It turns out oh it turns out. Both of them had been victims of abduction twenty years ago.

I remember everything now. My name is Gavriel Anderson. I have a rare disease where I will lose my memory every time I see an object that reminds me of it. But now, now that my memory has recovered and I have found a cure. Briana, he's the one.

“Honey, the whisper that I heard at that time turned out to be the way God brought us together. If only that night I had stayed in the hospital, the two of us would have never met. The abduction that took place twenty years ago has brought us together as Gavriel and Kellen, but this disease of amnesia has brought us back together as Lu and Briana. Don't you think our story is so sweet? The Lord brought us back together to finish a business that is not yet fully finished. I remember that time I promised that I would marry you if we both managed to survive. And now God really wants me to keep that promise. Oh my God, this is awesome!” muttered Gavriel who finally managed to recover from amnesia. After that Gavriel rubbed his face while chuckling, not thinking that his life story would be this beautiful. “The promise I made unknowingly led me to meet my life partner. Wait for me, Briana. Once I find out the reason why you used to use the name Kellen, I'll come to question you immediately. The promise we made will soon be made. Be patient!”

After saying that Gavriel picked up the phone on the table. Since this phone was Wildan's, he immediately searched the contact number by his own name. Gavriel then stood in front of the window waiting for Wildan to answer the call.

“Halo Sir, good night. Is there anything I need to help you with?”

The distinctive hoarse voice of the waking person immediately greets Gavriel's auditory senses. He then smiled, satisfied that Wildan's vigilance was kept awake even though now was the time to rest.

“Wildan, all my memories are back. Even now I can clearly remember one by one the incidents of kidnapping at that time. My goal was to call you just to let you know that Briana is really Mr. Hendar and Mrs Jenny's son. He's not an orphan!” gavriel said calmly. “However, you have to help me solve one more problem. It's about why they claim to only have sons, not daughters. I'm sure there must be a big secret hidden by them. You have to help me!”

Silent. There was no sound from the phone after Gavriel said he was fully healed. Gavriel then frowned when Wildan did not respond at all to his orders. Curious, he immediately saw the phone screen. The call is clearly still connected, but why is it not at all Wildan's voice? Erorkah signal? Or Wildan who was too shocked? Gavriel was confused.

“Wil, are you still there?” ask Gavriel to make sure.

“Hahhhhhhh, Sir sorry, I was too shocked to hear what you said. My brain to bleng,” Wildan said while breathing out strongly. “Mr Gavriel, what you said just now isn't a lie, is it? You ... Your memory has completely recovered? You're not sick anymore? Iyeakah? Geez, I'm so glad to hear this good news, sir. Really!”

“Yes, you're right. Because I passed out now I can remember everything,” said Gavriel with a small smile. He was aware of Wildan's catapult response which turned out to be silent because it was too shocked. Realizing that it was night, he decided to talk briefly. “If you can tomorrow morning you come a little early. There are many tasks that we have to complete in addition to office business. And as for my recovery, I ask you not to tell Erzan first. Let him suffer a little for a long time because of the burden of the company before he returns to being a farmer. He had to feel how difficult it was to bear the name as part of the Anderson family. During this time he was quite happy-happy, so I guess a little lesson to him is not against the rules!”

From within the phone Wildan immediately agreed the wishes of his superiors without much dispute. Long breaths continued to sound, as if to tell the air that he was relieved because his boss was back to health.

“Because it's night you better go back to sleep. I'm sorry for interrupting your break. Good night!” pamphlet Gavriel just before she turns off the call.

Not yet sleepy, Gavriel decides to leave the room. Not to forget he pocketed the hair ribbon belonging to Briana to dampen the feeling of longing that always arouses. Smiling faintly, Gavriel walked down the stairs. And when he was about to turn towards the kitchen, his attention was held back by the existence of someone who was sleeping with his head dangled on the edge of the sofa. Erzan, his sister fell asleep.

“That's why you face pressure in the company?” sneer Gavriel while holding back a laugh. He stepped slowly then crouched down right next to his sister's head. “But seeing you like this I'm not willing to let go of it. Sorry, Erzan. Looks like you still have to survive by not going crazy and dying young. I was healed and my memory came back perfect. However, I will not share this happy news with anyone other than Wildan. Why is it like that? Because I want you to also feel how heavy the burden I've been bearing. You're so happy when you're not a farmer? Now it was my turn to feel that happiness too. I'm gonna wander around seeking justice for my lover. And vou? I'll let you rot a little in the company. Hmmmm,”

“It's me, Lu. Don't make a rowdy,” said Gavriel while holding back laughter watching the shocked expression on Erzan's face. So ugly. If there was Julia and Briana, this sister would definitely be ridiculed all-out by the two nosy women.

Congkol, Erzan immediately brushed off the hand of the brother who was still smothering his mouth and then he sat down. While rubbing his face that was still covered in drowsiness, Erzan scolded the man who was now sitting next to him.

“Other times can't don't admire me like I did, sister. What if I had a heart attack? How idly!” reprimand Erzan grumbling. Fortunately, his heart was not thrown out. It could be his corpse. Huh.

“Who told you to fall asleep like that. I thought you were dead earlier,” said Gavriel. After that Gavriel patted Erzan on the shoulder while glancing with pity. “That's patient yes. You must be very tormented in replacing your brother in the company. I'm sorry.”

“Preconcerned, so good to talk to. Heal Brother, heal. It's been months gone, there's still no change in you, brother. Come on, the spirit of the cure. Think of me who almost died dry for taking care of your work. Please!” Erzan. Today the schedule is amazingly busy. Meet with clients at the company, then go review the project location, then go back to the company to check the files. Who wouldn't be dying if he was in Erzan's position right now. With the basic that is only a farmer, it is certain that the pressure of this heavy work makes Erzan's head feel like it will break. Had suicide not been a sin, Erzan would have been downing the wall paint from two months ago. Really am.

There was a long sigh coming from Gavriel's mouth when he heard Erzan's complaint. Naturally, he who is a businessman there are times when he feels like giving up when the job comes in a row. So it is not surprising that his sister was frustrated when he replaced his position in the Under Group. Even so, Gavriel still did not want to release his sister back to her original hobby. He still wants to sacrifice Erzan until all the problems that befall Briana successfully resolved. Hehe.

“I'm sorry, Erzan. I've tried my best, but until now I haven't been able to regain my memory. Sometimes I wonder if maybe I'm not part of this family. Because if you think logically, it's impossible I can't remember anything about my past when I was on medication. Do you think maybe not if you've mistaken me for Gavriel?” gavriel said while holding back a laugh. Luckily the house lights were turned off, so his face was only highlighted by a dim light. If the lights of the room lit up brightly, Erzan would have been able to see his reddened face from holding back a laugh.

“We where may have mistakenly recognized our own family members, Sis. Oh, my God, there's just something you're thinking. Don't you see our family picture hanging beautifully in the living room? You are Gavriel Anderson, Erzan Anderson's older brother, the eldest son of Helena and Dary Anderson. You are no one else, Brother Gavriel. Take note of it carefully yes!” sahut Erzan was shocked to hear the thought of his brother. He then silently pondered, feeling guilty because his words earlier could have been the cause of his brother thinking like that. Not wanting to happen things that are not wanted, Erzan immediately asked his brother not to think about things. “Kak, I'm sorry for complaining to you. But from now on please focus on treatment. I promise I will never again insist or complain about the company while being with you. You're my brother, not someone else. So don't think we've misunderstood people. Okay?”

Both corners of Gavriel's lips twitched tightly as Erzan looked panicked. Really funny. Pretending is fun too, right? We can work with people at will without fear of being discovered. Not wanting his lies to be realized by Erzan, Gavriel decides to just leave from there. As much as possible he refrained from laughing when he wanted to say goodbye to his sister.

“Erzan, it's late. You better get in the room. I'm going to the kitchen for a while,” said Gavriel while holding his breath. He gritted his teeth so as not to laugh.

“Do you want to go to the kitchen, sister?” tanya Erzan was suspicious. “You don't intend to take the knife to kill yourself, do you?”

“No. I am still sane and if I can I want to live a long life so that I can be together with Briana,” Gavriel replied. “I'm thirsty. Want to take a drink of water and bring it into the room.”

“Oh, so. Yes already. I'm going to go to the room first, I'm going to rest. My body is over exhausted,” Erzan said then rose from his seat. Before going to the room, she stared fixedly at her brother who was sitting down while bowing his head.

Bizarrely. Why do I feel like my sister Gavriel's shoulder is shaking like one holding back a laugh? Ah, it's impossible. It must have been an unclear view of my eyes due to the dim lights of the room. Never mind, I'd better get into the camp. I miss my pillow roll.

Gavriel's laughter finally escaped as Erzan departed from before him. And he tried to muffle his voice by immersing his face into the sofa. Really, his sister's stupidity is really very entertaining. Though Gavriel had felt tense when Erzan watched him closely before going to the room. There's-there's just the hell. Here is his stupid sister or he who is too ignorant. But whatever it was, Gavriel was amused. He then went to the kitchen to get drinking water before finally returning to the room with the corner of the lips that did not stop twitching
