“Tired once,” murmured Briana while twitching her back neck. He strode toward the house, trying to ignore the heads of the neighbors who poked out from behind the fence.

What the fuck are these guys. Lack of work or what? Wonder.

While grumbling inwardly, Briana took off the shoes then neatly arranged them on the shelf. After that Briana leaned her head against the door, feeling very weak even when in the cafe Briana was more sitting than working. Luckily the cafe was not too crowded, so Briana did not need to feel guilty for letting Julia bother alone.

“Lu, you can't bother me for a minute. I knew I was leaning my head against the door, why did you open it. What if I fell? You want to be in charge?" amuk Briana was irritated. Really yes this idiot guy. Most clever at making people upset. Huh.

“Sorry, Bri. I didn't know you were rendering at this door. I thought you were the thief who wanted to steal the shoes. That's why I hurried out to make sure that our shoes are not lost,” said Lu as he stared intolerably at Briana who looked so exhausted.

Remembering the dinner that had been provided by him and the neighbors, Lu immediately pulled Briana's hand and invited her into the house. He ignored her as Briana continued to rebel about to escape. Just when Briana wanted to curse, Lu told her about the little surprise she had prepared.

First of all what Briana did was close her eyes while breathing out as much as possible. A second later he opened his eyes and looked straight ahead. “Briana, this dinner I prepared especially for you. And also I want to apologize for yesterday having offended you. When you silenced me, I honestly felt very sad. Examples now. You kept me quiet just because I owed a neighbor a debt. I did it because I was so worried about you. Then this dinner? This dinner was so hard we prepared with the intention that you could understand that we all care about you. God created many people with the aim that we can easily socialize. So there's no harm if we share kindness with each other.”

Briana's mouth was tightly locked as she heard Lu's explanation. He felt bewitched at how gentle Lu was in delivering his words. As a person born with a perfect brain, Briana clearly knew that Lu's words were not at all wrong. The principle that rejects the mercy of others is only a form of effort to fortify themselves so that Briana will not easily depend on people other than herself. Briana was not disappointed. That's reason.

“Briana, I don't do all this for free. I am also self-aware by not taking advantage of the kindness of our neighbors. You don't worry. While preparing all this I promised that I would always be ready to be asked for help by them whenever they wanted. And I consider it a reciprocal of the good they have given me. “You don't have to do it, Bri. Enough of you willing to forgive me, then we're all very happy. Our fatigue pays off perfectly if you're not angry anymore. Really,” replied Lu wholeheartedly reassuring Briana that she only needed to apologize from him.

Lu nodded.

“I forgive you,” said Briana shyly. It was hard for Briana to not forgive this man before her after hearing her heartwarming explanation.

“Thank you,” Lu said with a sigh of relief. Finally, his efforts with the neighbors did not end in vain. So relieving.

Unbeknownst to Lu and Briana, the neighbors secretly eavesdrop outside the house. They wondered if Briana would go on a rampage or not after knowing that it was their dinner that prepared. However, as the house was calm, they concluded that Lu and Briana had not entered into a truce. They all then decided to return to their respective homes with a feeling of excitement.
