Chapter 28: Another Old Human

Beside a frozen lake, Zen stood by the lake. He only saw Ford who was hunting fish in the frozen lake. Meanwhile, Arthur, he's looking for a deer for their dinner. What is surprising for Zen is that there is now a new lake that is quite large in the Radom area.

The iris from earlier was just squatting next to Zen, the little girl just made an indistinct image in the snow.

Seeing Iris, Zen asked her. "When have you been able to speak?'

Without even looking at it, Iris replied. "From the beginning, but it took me a while to adapt. Especially to know the language you use."

"So, 'I think you're just a ruled being and won't communicate."

"Not really, I'm not entirely just artificial intelligence either. My other side, 73% is someone's soul."

"certain." Reply Zen while rolling his eyes.

Afterwards, they heard the sound of something falling, saw the source of the sound, it was Ford who collapsed after returning with his wooden bucket full of fish.

"I don't think you're acting like a child and I'll help him." Said Zen, who approached the fainted body of Ford. "Hey! Old man, you let me down, I thought you were a strong man and wouldn't faint with anything trivial." Arriving near Ford's body, Zen quickly pulls Ford's hands together and drags him over, then reinserts the fish that Ford had caught earlier.

Soon Arthur returns with a small deer that he carries on his shoulders, but he is speechless when he sees a fainting Ford being resuscitated by Zen. "God Ford..." Arthur said in a low tone.

After the incident, they needed time to wake Ford up and return home.

"I'm sorry..." Ford.

"Honestly, I'm surprised, you're such a shocker." Said Zen.

"Ford, that was such a shame." Said Arthur.

"Uh..."

Continue the journey home with the results obtained. Arthur, and Zen get one fish, while Iris gets three fish as Ford's apology.

"Is it okay that I got this much? I'm not offended either."

"It's okay, you can give me one tail." Gazing lazily at Zen, Iris kicked the man's leg, causing him pain at the exact shin on his leg.

Bringing the result, and processed by Nia and Anya. They enjoyed the meal, even for the next few days.

Allenz realized when he saw Iris whose appearance also changed, of course this he asked Zen. "That's how it looks? Can she change it?"

"Yep, and I was quite surprised that they didn't use AI or anything like that, and instead used a soul that was transferred to Iris' body. So indirectly, there's now an additional Old Human on our side." Zen.

"The Soul of Old Human?! The soul that Iris is putting in is Old Human?!"

"Yep."

Both of them, from afar saw Iris who was welcomed by Nayaka, and Anya. In fact, Anya hugged Iris too strongly. Soon Arthur joined Zen and Allenz.

"T-please, hek." Pinta Iris on Zen, Arthur and Allenz, hoping to stop the action of a strong hug from Anya, which even three throw their faces, as if not to help.
