Chapter 17: Zen Rashid Aditya

"Groan!!"

War makes people sometimes unaware that they are making things worse. Taking one's life, destroying another's residence, and making others grieve over the loss of their family.

Allenz was surprised by himself who was in the war between Old Human and New Human first, he now uses his all-black clothes when he joined the war. Her Cocketrice mask was next to her, looking at both of her hands. He was surprised by his left hand returning to his normal state. A plane came and shot him. Making Allenz run away, he tried to use his wind magic. However, nothing came out of him, he did not sense any magic mana.

Only able to run, he exerted his strength, the objects behind him were destroyed, cars, streetlights, and so on. Until the shot hit him and destroyed him.

"DADDAN!!"

"Yeah!!"

Allenz wakes up in the garden of the Bartfort family home, and beside her there is Teresa who seems surprised.

"uh? Res, what's wrong with you?"

"Huh!? I should have asked, you suddenly woke up so surprisingly!?" Say the girl. At the dinner table, Allenz eats with Teresa, Nayaka, and Ben who is now 13 years old.

Tiara's words made Allenz and the others surprised, even Nayaka to the point of choking on his food, and Ben instead spouted out his drink that he had just drank.

"Mother?! That's too fast?! Is there no other discussion?!" Teresa complained.

"Hmm? Is mother's talk too mature? All right, how do we talk about when you guys meni–"

"Yes, please get my mom out of here." Teresa called her maid, and drove her mother from there.

"Eh!? Oh, Teresa wait." Tiara was eventually taken out by the maids.

After the door of the room closed, just the silence in the room, the atmosphere became awkward.

"Huh...." They can only breathe simultaneously.

"...So how many kids does Allenz want?" Suddenly Ben asked Allenz who ended up with a grilled fish that hit him in the face.

Over the walls of Nevelheim, Allenz sat on the edge of the wall. He was enjoying his own time, he saw the condition outside the city which was only a hill and a vast field.

Closing his eyes, he imagined his present self, having a complete family, a peaceful life, already having women, what else was lacking? Maybe just his left hand. After the previous machete, he thought the New Humans would not survive, but instead, a new civilization with magic.

Opening his eyes, he remembered that the problem for the new humans right now was the animals that mutated into monsters and the demons that appeared out of nowhere.

Realizing something, he remembered. Where did these demons come from? It should have been a demon-like entity just a depiction of human vices, then what kind of demon was he facing? Thinking, all he knew of the demonic entity was a human belief or fear when it became bad behavior.

Is this demon a real demon that comes from hell? Allenz also recalled his New Human project, he not only made artificial human prototypes, but also from races like in other fantasy stories, such as Elves, Beastmen, and Dwarves, although there are other races, such as, these artificial races they made to make a new civilization more varied, although in fact this was the request of some powerful people who wanted to have some kind of slave from another race. However, not with the demons, their sudden appearance when the New Human war against Old Human is underway.

Given the other races as well, he became curious about how the development of other races, so far he only knew humans and demons.

Because given that, he wanted to try to find out about other races, which seemed hidden in this part of the world, somewhere.

Hovering in the air with the help of Alans' directives, Allenz enters the forest where the lab is located.

Until passing through the forest, he saw a building standing in the middle of the forest, already knowing the location of the place he was headed, Allenz went down and stopped at the door.

"Is it okay to enter with such a condition?" Alans asked Allenz who came in with his condition yet to fully recover, especially he already had no left hand.

Stepping in, he entered the already broken passageway, and the many herbs attached to the wall, the lights also twinkled by themselves.

This place is totally destroyed.

Walking straight, he found a T-junction, one door was tightly closed and needed a key in the form of an identity card, and he knew that on his old body there was a key to the card, that's what Allenz decided to walk straight. Eventually, he finds a place where he used to move his old body to the new body he is currently using.

Even the place was damaged and looked old, the body was still there, in the room there was also a computer that was lit up which showed video footage of the room.

"Hmm?? My identity card doesn't exist." Allenz is aware that his cards on his old body are no longer there, this makes him unable to go deeper.

However, he was not out of his mind. He went back to the previous fork. Standing in front of that door, took a deep breath. Allenz whistled loudly, making a powerful wind attack that smashed the door easily, making a rumbling sound.

Walking in, he found a better hallway than before, this hall is still quite good, although there are some parts that already appear to be inedible with age. Reaching the end of the passageway, he entered an elevator that could still be used.

Allenz headed downstairs, he was going to the security room, where he had a lot of information he might need.

Reaching the intended floor, the elevator door opened, Allenz stepped out with various security weapons in the room, red lasers aimed at his body and head. Quite a number of weapons were directed at him.

In the security room, Zen was fast asleep, he had stayed here for a few days to prepare himself for the exit, while looking for more information about the outside world.

In his sleep, he was soundly asleep, until the alarm in the room sounded.

A loud noise made anyone wake up from their sleep.

"What is this?! What's the program?!"

The program replied [Answers, someone has barged into this place, he is heading for the elevator downstairs]

"What?! Intruders?! Shit!!" Waking up from his sleep, Zen immediately used a magic neutralizing mask and headed for the screen nearby to activate the security weapons that were outside this room, especially the front hallway of the elevator. "Programme, scan that guy!"

The program then scans and takes a long time for the scan to complete.

Zen was now busy with the screen in front of him, he even deployed all the weapons on the front hall of the elevator until the destruction stage.

Turning on the surveillance camera in the front hallway of the elevator, she saw the light on the elevator door light up, indicating that someone was coming down to this floor.

The elevator doors opened, showing a teenager with gray hair carrying a board behind him, but the teenager did not have a left hand.

Allenz was speechless with all the weapons pointed at him, he looked at all the weapons one by one.

Taking a deep breath, closing his eyes.

"YULO!!!" Quickly Allenz dodged all the attacks from this passageway, he tried to dodge all of these shots with his speed.

"Where? Whereabouts? Where's the security room?" Looking for a security room, until he saw a hallway that has three lanes and above the ceiling of the T-junction there is a direction, and the security room is on the left. "Safety Room!!"

Turning to the left, he saw a closed door in the passageway, without further ado Allenz used a powerful Whistling Spell capable of destroying the door that covered the space, and managed to enter, until Allenz hit the wall at the end of the room.

"Damn it, it looks like I'm too tight to hit the wall." Allenz complains while holding his head.

The room was now filled with dust, dusting off his clothes. Allenz was busy with his clothes, until a grenade rolled at his feet. Reflek, Allenz jumped to the side, because he now only has one hand, he was hard to roll well.

Allenz was surprised that there was someone here, he didn't expect that. Do the demons know this place? Or the demons were about to retrieve information from this place.

Under the table, Zen was preparing with the shotgun he had, he was waiting for the right moment to strike back. Right now he could only hear the mysterious young man shouting in a language that he did not understand.

Taking a deep breath, he prepared himself. Standing up spontaneously, he pointed his gun at the young man.

"Raise your hand there! And don't try to use your magic!" That's what Allenz heard. He was surprised by someone who spoke English. Turning his body slowly, he found an old man wearing an anti-magic mask and wearing a patient's shirt.

"Ah, don't you try to take a step forward, if you don't want your head to be broken by a bullet!" Firm Zen.

Allenz felt familiar with the person in front of him. As if he knew the man, he tried to remember him. Memory after memory he tried to remember the person, he realized that in front of him was someone he knew. "Zens? Rashid?"

"The New Human types of other races like elves, dwarves or such." Answer Allenz.

Zen fell silent, why is this friend looking for another race? Not bothering about it. Using multiple satellites and using satellite cameras to search for other races.

Looking quickly, Zen found several settlements belonging to dwarves and beastmen, among them in Egypt, South America and near the eastern part of the Himalayas.

"By the way, why do you only have one hand?" Zen asked about Allenz's one-handed self.

While watching the holographic screen on the watch, Allenz realized something. "Ras, how about you transfer your consciousness to a new body? You can get out of here and see a new world." Advice Allenz.

Unsure, Zen replied. "I'm not sure, having seen so many failed projects... I'm afraid I'll fail."

Hearing Zen's answer, Allenz realized that, even he was almost perfect, until he had a new awareness during the process of body removal. However, for this time he did not want Zen to have the same fate.

"Well, I'm gonna get a new body, while you're getting equipment to move my new body, okay?" Zen and Allenz split their tasks.

Allenz pulled out a chair and attached several large wires to a water tube that Zen's new body would insert. Continue turning on the computer monitor nearby and operating it.

"I'm ready." Said Allenz who was preparing in front of his computer. "By the way, what body did you choose?"

"Body has an anomaly, is it bad?"

"No, that's good, because your body can survive from a place that doesn't have any magic or anything like that." Answer Allenz.

"Ok, well I'll sit down." Zen sat in a chair that Allenz had provided near the tube, then used a special helmet attached to a lot of wires.

Silently for a moment, Zen was about to speak. "Chris... If this..."

"Ras, you better shut up, and get ready."

"Oh yeah, you're right." Zen prepared himself, taking a breath. He wants to prepare his mentality. "Do it."

Operating a computer, Allenz runs a body transfer program on Zen, he hopes there are no errors in the operation this time.

"Here we go." Pressing a button, Zen's head seemed to be pulled, more precisely his consciousness.

[The transfer process begins... Transferring awareness... Initiating transfer]

"I hope it works." Allenz.

"What!?" Allenz moved quickly he tried to keep the transfer process done.

Panic is very visible on Allenz's face, he hopes this transfer succeeds without any mistakes.

Hearing the transfer complete, Allenz quickly came to the tube, opened it, spilled some water inside.

"Rice? Rashid? Did you hear me? Zen!! Wake up!!" Allenz tried to wake Zen up, he hoped Zen would be in his new body.
