Chapter 1: Baby in a tube

Since two hundred years ago, the earth began to change and very clearly the difference, starting civilization, technology, beliefs, customs, and even the calendar on this world also changed, coupled with the other New Human types, led to the emergence of new races such as, Elf races, Dwarves, and Beastmen.

However, the war is not over, because there are often conflicts between races, namely humans and demons, two races that continue to argue with each other, the main cause is the ancient artifacts of the Old Human, the Old Human, they thought that by obtaining the artifact, one of them would be the strongest.

But on the other hand, the other races do not want to interfere further, they do not want the ancient war as it was repeated, namely when the great war between New Human against Old Human, the Old Human, therefore, other races prefer to stay away from conflict by not approaching both areas of the race.

In the eastern region of human power, where the grass is wide, not far from there are high hills and mountains.

Before long a rumble rang out, the sounds of people shouting at each other, war broke out between the two strongest races. Where an alliance of four great kingdoms of men banded together to join the fight against the demons, magic shots and arrows were continuously thrown at the enemy side from both sides.

However, the human side has other weapons in the form of throwers, and cannons, as other long-range weapons in war, on the other hand the demon side relies on the monsters they have like dragons for war in the air, against a human-owned airship, despite having an airship but it was just like an ordinary airship with no weaponry at all, hence man carried a cannon on the ship's cabin as a gunner.

Smoke everywhere, gunfire was deployed, casualties were falling, damage was happening around the war, it brought horror to the war.

"Commander!! Our forces are much reduced, we need to retreat!!" shouted one of the soldiers to suggest that their royal side retreat as they began to lack soldiers.

Hearing that suggestion, the commander seemed dissatisfied, if they retreated then it would be an insult to their kingdom. "Alright, order the entire battalion to retreat." Tell the commander.

Their side also retreated, not only them, the three other kingdoms joined in due to the onslaught carried out by the demons, the four sides of the human kingdom decided to split in all directions, where the commander and some of his men entered the forest, in order to make it easier to remove their tracks.

Entering the forest deeper, they found something unexpected, a sturdy building, one of the soldiers said to the other, "commander, is this an ancient building? See how this foreign architecture is? It is no mistake that we found an ancient treasure place!!" Said the soldier while pointing at the seemingly unused building.

They decided to enter the place, entering the building was a dark hallway, with lights twinkling, several times, and sometimes electric sparks were seen on some wires on the ceiling of the building.

"This building is strange, the lighting is not using magic stones or torches" said one of the soldiers, responding to the place.

"Even this place has no magic aura at all, as if the magic here was intentionally eliminated." Said another soldier.

Responding to the previous soldier, "heh? which person does not want to accept magic? it's not that it's gonna kill them, if it doesn't have where's magic?"

Hearing that answer, the soldiers laughed at it, because it was impossible for any living being to have no magic mana, if there was such a person he should have died.

Seeing the soldiers talking, the commander immediately stopped them, fearing that there were a number of traps, before long there were two directions in sight, one path remained straight, the other turned to the right, seeing the two passageways, the commander ordered some of his soldiers to try the right lane, but only the iron door was tightly shut, they tried to open the door with magic, but never opened, they suspected that the door was designed to be sturdy against magic.

However, before long one of the other soldiers told him that the other path was open. In response, they decided on a straight path beforehand, and decided to enter the space.

And only a messy room, abandoned, a few wires here and there, but in the middle of the room was seen the skeleton of a corpse with a laboratory coat sitting on his stool, with a wired helmet, and, seeing the skeleton the soldiers approached the corpse and prayed for the corpse so that his soul was calm there.

One of the soldiers there came to the commander, and sat down next to him, staring at the tube as well. "Commander, what about this baby?" Ask.

"I don't know, which we definitely can't leave this child here, maybe we should take this baby to the king." The commander's advice, so that the problem is addressed and get better advice.

Everyone there decided to sleep, and there were two men on guard, after that day they returned to their kingdom, having previously obtained a letter from the king to return to the palace.

They returned with the tube covered in a large cloth, and with the tube they also thought of a way to open the glass without hurting the baby inside.

It took them a whole day to reach the royal capital at exactly noon. They were also demanded to the palace by the palace soldiers, until they arrived at the throne hall. There were some people, there were commanders of other royal divisions, some ministers, the royal family and others. They were quite strange to see something that the commander and his soldiers were carrying, a mysterious object covered in cloth.

"Arthur, what are you carrying?" Ask the king to the chief commander of his kingdom.

Arthur begins to explain to them what happened after they fled the war, the people begin to discuss and advise also the fate of the baby in the tube.

The king thought about it as well, this baby is quite strange than it looks, why can a baby be put into a water tube?, he glanced at his wife, the queen, for a moment, they are also pregnant with their third child.

The king's forehead lifted, as if remembering something, "Arthur, I've read your letter, am I sure of it?"

Arthur seemed surprised at the question he asked about the letter sent before the war began. "Yes, Your Majesty, I am sure of what I wrote the letter was filled in." Arthur replied firmly.

The king smiled, he did not wrong to choose Arthur as the representative of the command of the royal forces in the alliance of the four human kingdoms, especially as his own brother, Arthur will soon have a child, he said, it is impossible for a father not to see his first child born into the world.

Some people immediately gave their comments, some asked why, some felt this baby was quite wary because of the initial place the baby was found.

The king raised one hand signaling them to be silent, and at once the people there were silent, even the sound of the wind from outside was faintly heard. "The reason I allowed Arthur to bring the baby was because of this." Said the king, giving a letter to a soldier nearby, and the letter was given to Arthur so he would read it.

Arthur was speechless to read the letter, it was written by his wife for the king, about the content of the letter was that he wished that their children were twins despite their lack of success, plus he said his wife also wanted to have another child, for their baby to have a brother.

Arthur's face flushed red, ashamed to read it, he did not expect such a wife to have so many children, he began to be afraid to go home to see his wife had such a nature. Arthur also glanced at the king, but the king's eyes seemed to want to avoid Arthur's gaze, as if saying 'spirit for your second child later'.

Having no choice, Arthur agrees to the king's suggestion that if he had brought the child, his wife might not have asked for another child for several months.

Finished the matter discussed in the king's throne, and it was announced that Arthur retired from the royal army, and would stay in his wife's hometown, outside the capital. Now the new problem is how to get the baby out of the tube.

The tube is now placed in a special room, the baby is still floating in the middle of the tube, while curling like a baby fetus, the queen and her two children are watching the tube.

The first sister, a beautiful princess named Rose Dekred Hearterra, asked the name of the baby to her mother. "Mother, this child, will be given what name?" Ask the six-year-old princess.

The queen smiled at her daughter's curiosity, "My son, the baby will be brought Uncle Arthur, so maybe he will be named by Anya's aunt" she said.

Now that everyone is thinking about how the baby was taken out, everyone is trying not to break the glass in the reservoir to not harm the baby. "Anybody can translate this language?" Arthur asked a palace translator to translate the language.

Some ancient linguists and translators were gathered there, they tried to interpret the language, but they did not understand it.

Everyone was then surprised by the old writing, this is the discovery of ancient writing so many times, but still they could not read it.

Out of curiosity, Arthur pulled the lever down, before long some of the glass rose slowly and made the water in the tube out, the people there then panicked, and directly use magic to control the water that comes out along with the baby inside, after the glass is completely open, the water in the tube is dry, and the, while the baby was still in the water floating in the air, Arthur took the baby out of the water.

Arthur decided to take the baby to his home, outside the capital, in a small town, not far from the royal capital, with only one day to arrive.

In a house, a pregnant woman was busy drying clothes and cloth with a maid.
