THE ABOVE THE CLOUD(ABC)
47. The future is not a place to repeat mistakes.

The car stopped on the side of the road a few meters from the flat building. Muta gets out of the car and drives Deanita to the front of her flat. When he was about to turn around, his legs were held in a slow call.

“..That...,” probably saw Mutual's car, and seeing her character, Deanita thought of something she never wanted.

He thought, Mutual could help him.

However, given their relationship that was only a stranger, Deanita immediately came to a realization.

“Oh, em, thanks for driving me.” Deanita lowered her head a little and led her daughter home.

“...Excuse me.” Mutual thought it was a good opportunity for him to take part. On the other hand, she has the power to help Deanita. But the motive would be to ask if he helped for no reason, right?

Gangster men who become the backing of Deanita, will be suspicious as soon as someone helps unconditionally. Mutual guesses that the man is also itching to do something to the man's family dirty mouth. Unless the dirty guy goes to jail, the gangster can't do anything about it. Maybe he could drag the guy down a narrow alley and beat him up, and then what? That won't stop her pursuit of Deanita.

A few weeks earlier Muta bought a store in an area densely populated T nation that has different beliefs with Muta. He turned it into a cafe with a menu that was familiar to people of T descent. On the one hand he registered the certificate ‘halal’, if there are minority people visiting come there. The second was just a motive to garner reputation and charity both for him and his daughter.

Her main motive is so that she can take control of Deanita.

“I'm honest, seeing you trouble, I don't feel good letting it.” Mutual said without further ado. If he had many reasons, he would have been more suspect. Although his words were dubious, as long as people did not split his heart, they would believe it just by looking at Mutual's face.

“But I don't think you will receive my help.” he then told me the difficulty of finding a cafe manager, which if you think more thoroughly is clear nonsense.

“I think the place will be more popular if served by the same people.”

Deanita who listened at first hesitated, then her eyes shone with gratitude.

“May God bless you.” Deanita whispered softly with teary eyes.

“...Ah, yes.” he did not expect before the persuasion sentence he uttered, Deanita already ate his words.

Hm, if Deanita is not easily touched, she will not be deceived by the dirty man.

Mutual was silent for a moment, before finally giving a warning.

“The man... I like to know him.”

“..? You know?”

Of course not. This is the first time Rex has seen it. “I've only ever seen his face at a party..” said Reksa slowly. “But the character is a little bad. I don't want to demonize. But my advice, for a female of T descent like you, do not look for a male like him.”

Hearing that, Deanita looked at Reksa straight. The woman in front of him really has a face and appearance that deserves to be called ‘primadona’. It was obvious the reason he could fall into the hands of a dirty mouth man and until he had a child, must be because there was something wrong with his IQ. Mutual fear of this woman falling into similar hands in the future. After all, their destinies were like passing each other?

“I won't cover up his ugliness. Although he and I have the same belief, but for him who has a large family and choose to. em. so your lover,” Muta rubbed his nose on the sidelines. “He has bad intentions. I have many acquaintances, but not all do worship and have a good character. They date girls of descent from you just for fun.”

Hearing that, Deanita feels complicated, but her view of Reksa changes for the better.

“I know.” said Deanita who made Reksa surprised.

The woman tucked her hair behind her ear. “My friends are also a lot of fascinated with people who... like him.” he is meant by the dirty mouth man.

“But the family doesn't allow us to take it any further. There's a lot to consider. We ourselves–some of us, some are dating them out of curiosity.” so of the two there is no commitment far. Just dating, why be serious? As long as you like, yes, just go.

“But.." Deanita remembers her life for these three years. He felt what it was like to be a toy. If the man had at least appreciated her, Deanita would not have gotten pregnant, until she had to quit college. If the man was responsible, Deanita would not have ended up in this state. It's a lie that Deanita says there's no remorse, but what's the point?

He admitted part of the sentence to Mutual, and he took it as a lesson.

Just then Deanita felt a gentle pull on her skirt, she lowered her head, and saw her daughter's sweet plain face. The eyes are like the eyes of his father. Sometimes it makes Deanita bitter. But the innocence reflected, made Deanita who had been pregnant with him for ten months dote on him unconditionally. When those eyes lose their innocence, Deanita's affection will endure. That's mother.

“Mother?”

Deanita instantly erased her grief and looked up at Muta.

“Thank you.” he then nodded towards Reksa. “I know, I understand.”

“Alright then.” see it Mutual instantly relieved. He gave the cafe address to discuss further steps to be taken. The two planned to meet in the coming days.

“Then I say goodbye first.” Mutual nodded and turned back towards the car. Ever since chatting, he felt a piercing look on his back. Reksa could imagine Sera in the car staring out with a 'full curious' gaze'.

Mutual thought at a glance. Deanita is a reflection of a woman's dreams. Precisely the goodness that exists in Deanita makes it a target and attracts the heart. The kind that attracts wolves.

He was a little sad. But think of his daughter, Sera, also the relationship that ‘may’ happen in the future…. Muta shakes shudder.

If he met Deanita a few years before finding Sera, his position might not be much different from the dirty mouth guy now?

However he was clearly aware that he who used to be a simple figure from ‘bajingan’.

“...Forget.” her mission now is to make Sera grow up to be a healthy, safe and happy woman of the afterlife.

Deanita stared at the business card in her hand for a moment. What a strange character? She vilifies her own fellow man, only to remind him–the foreign woman he met the first time. Even to the point of wanting to help with financial matters and problems.

Deanita realizes her past mistakes. He understood that the intention of Mutual was to find a partner from a hereditary nation who was as straight as him.

Men of descent who share the country with Deanita not all have good character as well. It's just that they understand each other better and have the possibility of living a more harmonious life.

Had Deanita met Reksa early, she might have fallen in love. The man looked like a trustworthy and responsible person.

But Deanita won't make the same mistake twice. Although Muta could be trusted, she did not dare and felt that trauma again.

Forging love also can not he do in a moment of desire of the heart. Maybe she won't be able to fall in love again.

“Mother.pegel.” the soft voice of her daughter resuscitates Deanita from daydreams.

He immediately held his daughter and smiled gently.

“Baobei want to eat peanut porridge?”

“..Want to! Mau!”

“OK, but have to take a shower first, huh? Try Mother harumin? Em... smelly.”

“Sme-i, Sme-i.” the baby on his lap chuckles amusedly repeating his mother's sentence.

Reksa and the others arrived at the villa shortly afterwards.

“Sera, here Papa wants to talk for a while.” he reached out his hand to lead Sera to his study.

The little girl was like daydreaming, but like listening. Mutual's hands were ignored and Sera walked with a serious expression towards the Mutual workspace.

“....” is he so scary?

But being ignored makes Papa Muta's heart slightly pinched.

The two arrived at the study, and sat across from each other.

“...” his daughter even now does not want to sit a sofa with him.

Before Reksa opened his mouth, Sera had already opened her voice first.

“...Papa...., want to find a new mama for Sera?”

“????”

The little girl seemed to have gathered all her strength and looked straight at Reksa with her black round eyes before saying.

“Kakak earlier... looks soft and good.” said Sera, do not hesitate to praise the person her Papa chose. Deanita looks young, doesn't look like she's got any kids at all.

Sera wouldn't make the same mistake. He felt that past events with Cecil made him get nothing. He should be grateful and not be a hindrance.

“...Babe.” Muta moved and directly carried Sera sitting on her lap.

Her little girl's eyes looked like black holes, she was afraid this topic shook her daughter, but Mutual had to talk about it.

“Papa ngga says want to marry again.”

“...” Sera was silent, clearly not so trusting. Although in his heart he was sure his Papa was telling the truth, but on the other hand, he could not see the future.

“Papa and mom earlier.., can be said acquaintance.” said Reksa after thinking long. “Mommy once helped Papa. And now that Papa sees him in trouble, there's no way Papa should shut up, right?”

Hearing that Sera looked up and looked at her Papa. His dim eyes were now starting to emit light.

“Em. Must help each other.” says Sera agrees. The joy in his heart could not be hidden.

“Iya, eat it.” Mutual was silent for a moment. “Papa don't marry first. Papa has Sera. Papa wants to see Sera grow up first.”

“Adult as big as Kak Shain?”

Hm, Shain seems too old? But Reksa can't back down.

“Iya, until Sera got married, had children, and had grandchildren.”

Sera thought and frowned. She felt something strange, but her arms moved around hugging her Papa.

“So if later Sera sees there are women close to Papa, Sera does not need to worry.” Mutual patting Sera's back. “Sera can ask Papa, Papa must answer.”

“...”

“Sera heard Papa, right? If Sera is confused, Sera asks Papa.”

“Sera listen.” replied Sera slowly.

That afternoon, Reksa spent time alone with her daughter. He just stood up and carried, occasionally petting.

Although both of them were silent, yet such warmth spread throughout the room.
