Thanatos: War of the Fractions

Five. Little Cat.

“Build fool.”

A subtle, authoritative voice echoed in my ears, I still could see nothing but the white of light, my eyes were not functioning in this situation, damn it. “If you want life, just take mine, let my friend come home safe!” angry shout. “I don't want life,” the voice is heard again, “I am a creature that you name Lily.” I fell silent, I fell silent, if I hadn't picked up the cat, we wouldn't have ended up this horrible. 

“I will give you a blessing, you deserve it, O Griesta son of Locke and Azalea.”

My mind went blank, and then questions came to my mind, all complementing and making each other into a big, complicated, dizzying question. But in the end it all comes from one small question. “Ap-” my tongue choked, I gulped, “What are you really?” the white light that blinded me began to disappear, replaced by the sight of my comrades who already had not a single scratch on their bodies, and the pain in my hands was no longer there. Everything has healed without a trace. 

“I repeat, are you this?”

“You used to call me mother earth, mother earth, and any other name that satisfied me enough, but I will give you the right to call my name.”

“You have a name?”

“Gaia.”

Ah, I just spoke with Gaia, the mother of the titan and goddess of creation in Greek mythology. A cat is a mother earth, a werewolf attack, the sight of my friend dying, a meeting with a silver girl, the death of a person I've considered family, all of this is like a nightmare that always haunts me. I was only speechless when all the dim light became a ball over the head of a little cat, Lily approached me, the closer she moved the more I felt the intense pressure, but also a comfortable and warm feeling like being in an embrace. 

Lily was standing before me sitting languidly, like a cat she jumped into my lap. With a signal he ordered me to bow. I bowed little by little to a cat. When I looked down, I felt something soft touch my forehead, with a glance I saw Lily put her footprint on my head, then continued with Danny and Kris. 

"and for your little brother."

After saying that he disappeared, a jolt felt on my back, I was shocked, I was inside the tent, no injuries or damage, no Lily and no traces of a fight with a werewolf. "I don't remember having a sister" I muttered

My memory is fresh and can't be wrong, in this tent it's just me. Ah shit! I jumped out of the tent and found my friend fishing in the river. 

“Hey! You're awake!” Kris greeted me while showing me the fish he had obtained. I breathed a sigh of relief, they were not hurt at all. Danny approached me, pulled me a sign he wanted to talk to four eyes, I just followed him a little bit away from Kris, “You remember what happened last night?” Danny asked with a serious face. I shut up, “if you're alone?” askaku. 

Danny's getting serious, “I remember we were attacked by werewolves, Kris too.”

“I also remember that.”

“But why are we okay?”

I shut up, then told her about Lily, and everything that happened after they passed out. Danny seemed to be in disbelief after I said it, and so did I. We both went back to Kris and told her about it, then cleaned up all our belongings, and went home to avoid any bad things that might happen. Kris had ordered a taxi back to the city, we walked back to the highway, then back to the city in a taxi. Along the way none of us said a word, all silent, until we arrived at Danny's house, we separated and went to our own house. 

I myself went back to my house, and as I thought, my brother greeted me with a lot of punches and dirty words, I don't care, I went up to my room and closed and locked the door. I lay myself on the bed, the wind from the air conditioner made me sleepy, and I finally decided to sleep on my stomach while wearing my jacket, not moving from the previous position.
