Thanatos: War of the Fractions

Thanatos: War of the Fractions
Two. Inception.

“Locke? Mr Locke?!” a call woke me up from my deep sleep, it turned out that the song on my playlist had run out, and Mr. Matthew called my name. “Why pack?” I lazily asked, I saw a simple calculus on the board, ah he wanted me to do it apparently. “Try to do this in less than 30 seconds, Mr. Locke, if you can do it, I'll buy you lunch and I'll give you permission to sleep in every class!” with pride, Mr. Matthew challenged me, it's not a difficult matter, at least for me, we should start studying calculus in 2 years, maybe that's why he's so confident.

Slowly I walked towards the blackboard, the answer was already in my head, only to write. I just write casually, 30 seconds is a lot of time. After writing, I went back to my previous place, “it looks like I want to eat this lunch sandwich.” I said before lowering my head again to sleep. Remembering the surprised face of Mr. Matthew and his friend who seemed to see a ghost incised another smile on my face today, it was easy anyway. I continued walking into my dreamland, imagining all the things I never got.

The break bell rang, I immediately opened my eyes and looked towards Daniel who was taking out his lunch, “Danny come to the cafeteria.” My invitation was only answered by his trousers and stupid smile, he said, “I've brought stock, you sleepyhead.” with a lazy face I walk out the door, which then greeted pat on my back, “ayo to the canteen!” Kris smiled. I smiled, followed his slow steps.

About 2 minutes walking, I passed by the senior who this morning intercepted me. He didn't even dare look at me, which made the friend next to him suspicious, “hey, as a junior you should respect us! Submit your heads!” said rough. With a face of disbelief the senior who was intercepting me looked at that stupid friend of his. Kris came forward and hit him in the chest, making him short of breath, “ayo Gree, we continued.” unceremoniously stale we walked to the canteen, bought food, then went back to class, and then, where I continued to fall asleep again until the second break and went home.

“Gree, wake up, let's go home!” I opened my eyes, put my phone in the bag and walked out with Daniel, “Kris is waiting below, let's hurry to my house!” after going down the stairs, we met Kris and the three of us walked towards Daniel's house with the sun above our heads accompanying this short trip. Near the housing, I remember I had to pick up something at the post office, located not far from here, “Danny, Kris, I had to pick up the package my parents sent, there were volunteers?” Kris smiled, “ayo!” both of us jumped up and climbed up the roof of the roof near us, “Danny, heart at heart on the road!” Kris laughed. I could see Danny exhaling and shaking his head. With the heat of the sun, we jumped to the post office in the south.

After about 20 houses, we took to the streets, crossed over and finally arrived at the post office. I went in, looked for the clerk and said my name, he smiled and gave me a small package, like clothes. After thanking me I went out to Kris, who could not be found where. “Maybe he bought food.” I thought, while waiting, I sat on the steps of the post office terrace enjoying the cool breeze that contrasted with the heat of the afternoon sun.

While waiting, something caught my eye, a black SUV that was silent on the side of the road, near the military's weapons repair site. I walked up to him, 1805, he hit me this morning. I was curious and walked slowly closer to the passenger seat, just as I arrived, the car was leaving at full speed. I could only see something strange through the car window, silver white hair. I could see it from the black window of his car.

“Gree!” I flinched, Kris called me from across the street, “Come! Here I bring you ice cream!” I approached her without telling her what I had done to her. With a smile I thanked her and quickly finished my ice cream. We then walked for a while before jumping up and down the roof to Daniel's house, sooner than we left.

Upon arrival at Daniel's house, we were greeted by his friendly mother, “how are you? Auntie rarely sees you again! Goods that you landed yesterday are behind ya!” I opened my shoes, went inside along with Kris, and found a stupid sight. Daniel was asleep on the sofa in front of his television, with his mouth wide open. I turned towards Kris, who was showing her naughty face, Daniel's mother came over and patted Kris on the back, nodding with the same smile as her. I took out the marker from my bag, Daniel's mother snatched it from my hand excitedly, “tante first yes!” whispered. Deftly the three of us scribbled away the stupid stripe of Daniel's face before he woke up.

I just smiled and shook my head, they left home to work abroad 5 years ago, and just sent me a package, and a phone call and a text for my stupid brother. “But they sent a package for me today, it looks like clothes.” I said while taking out the package I had picked up at the post office, then ripping off the wrapper. A black bomber jacket, impeccably jet black, vantablack possible. I tried it, a little big, but fittingly, I folded and put it back in my bag.

It was late in the afternoon, I was happy because I didn't have to go home to my house that I hated, with my stupid brother who was always drunk and making a scene. “Hey Gree, have you taken a shower?” Danny opened the door to his room, surprised me who was doing light exercise, “you're really sweating, for a sleepyhead, your body is very stocky, cool buddy.” he said as he threw a small towel for me, “I have to wait a while for my body to cool.” reply me while wiping the sweat on my face.

Kris is returning to his house to pick up the goods for today and tomorrow, this month's school has ended, because one thing and another the school in our city is closed for 2 weeks, so a few days ago we made a plan to camp on Mount Clarke, which is 15 kilometers from here, and 5 kilometers from the nearest health facility. A challenge for us, to have fun and also clear the mind of emotions and stress due to school.

After cooling off, I went to take a shower, for about 10 minutes. After the shower I joined Daniel and Kris who had returned from taking her supplies from home. They both seem to be seriously playing the playstation located in front of them. Their eyes did not change focus, their eyes remained on the screen. I just sat and watched them play for 2 hours, I was kind of a bit less into playing games, too easy for me.

After about 2 hours, the wall clock showed at 20:00, we stopped playing and started tidying up the items we needed for camping tomorrow. Tents, sleeping bags, knives, ropes, and other simple equipment, we did not bring groceries, only matches, because of the challenge from brother Kris. if we can survive in the forest without food for 2 days, he will give each of us what we want. For Kris, it's more about self-esteem and challenges, we don't care about the rewards. After a short preparation, we went to Daniel's bedroom, three of them on a mat-covered floor.

“Danny, select class.” Kris started the conversation, “do not strange strange yes.” looked at the sky sky room we three fell silent, before Daniel exhaled, “Paladin,” he said calmly, “that's the final choice.” while smiling proudly of his choice. “You what Kris?” I asked back, which was greeted with a smirk on his face, “elementalist!” he said straightforwardly, “you guys please fight, I will sleep on the back line!” they both then looked at me, “magic knight.” I said briefly, “no additional questions, I want to go to the park first tomorrow morning.” with a smile, the three of us slept quietly that night, I want to go to the park first thing tomorrow morning. with a smile, no load at all, the most comfortable sleep I've ever had in 5 years.

My alarm goes off, it's time for me to exercise. I slowly settled out of the room and, towards the exit, tried not to cause any disturbance to the others. “G? Where to?” dan's mother's voice surprised me, it's only 3 o'clock and he's awake, even cooking deftly in his kitchen. “I'll exercise, to the park on Deer Street, maybe I'll be back in about 2 hours.” I replied briefly. Mother Dan looked at me with a motherly gaze, walked slowly towards me, the apron she was wearing looked oversized, her hair was beautifully unraveled as she walked, then stroked my hair. “You look like your father,” he said while thrusting my jacket, “don't be late for breakfast yes.” I just smile. “Don't wait for me!” I whispered while walking quickly out of the house.
