Thanatos: War of the Fractions

Thanatos: War of the Fractions
Three. Short Meeting.

I am grateful to have them as my second family. After a 5-minute drive through many apartment roofs, I arrived at the park. My instincts said something was awkward, my eyes sweeping across the corner of the garden that seemed under the lights.

“Ah there car there” color is disguised by the bright of the headlights and the dark of the night. Slowly I got down, maybe the old man brought some important stuff so he had to use the car. Immediately I visited the old man's stall with a smile on my face, but when I arrived, I never expected my smile to turn into an empty feeling.

A man in a black suit stands under the spotlight of a garden lamp, with a mound at his feet. “Don't come here little boy!” the voice of the old man was heard softly, until finally his breath could not be heard anymore. With his feet, he stomped on the dead body of someone I thought was my family.

“Ahh, hello son, I'm First Lieutenant Miller from Special Corps Of Peculiar Enigma, what is a little brother like you doing here??” he asked in a heavy voice, trying to hide his hands behind his body. “Ah I'm lost, can the commander help?” I asked, trying as much as possible to hide my anger by pretending to be stupid.

“Ahh so, let me take it out.” he said as he turned around, I could no longer hold it, when he turned around, I quickly kicked his joints, making him drop the knife he had hidden with a surprised face.

A lion will not wait for its prey to be ready. I grabbed his knife and I grabbed his wide-open back. His clothes were wide open because of my cut, and he was ready to fight even though he was still confused.

Before he was really ready to throw my knife in his face, he quickly dodged while looking at the knife that passed through his bastard face, but I'm sorry, my martial class mostly does not use weapons. I kicked him in the stomach with all my might, as he lowered his stomach I ran, I held his head and I thrust my kneecap into his bastard face.

Suddenly a blow came from my left. “SIALAN!” I shouted as I bounced away from that jerk. “Asking permission for extermination.” a voice, soft and beautiful, yet devoid of feeling spice in it, appears, accompanied by a silver-white haired girl. Ah, them. “Nak! What's your name?!” the false commander asked while holding his face, “and you are what?!” I don't understand the question, but as bewitched I say, “I Locke! Griesta M's. Locke!” my yelling. And I saw his stunned face as if looking at a ghost, before I felt another blow on my head and it all went dark.

I was awakened by a voice, I opened my eyes slowly, realizing I was greeted by the sight of a cloudy black sky. Flinched, I ransacked myself, all the things I carried in my jacket were still there, and the pain of the strange girl's lashing was still there as well.

I checked the clock in the pocket in my jacket, it's been 1 hour I fainted. I saw where I met the false commander, no more mounds, no more stupid old man to be my family. I threw my jacket over the stall that was still standing under the shade of the tree, and I started running.

Running non-stop, for about 10 minutes, the rain began to pour, getting heavier and heavier, until finally after countless rounds I stopped. I walked up to the old man's stall, leaned my back against the zinc wall of his stall, and cried as if without a sound.

I walked towards Daniel's house, no jumping, no tension, just walking. I arrived after half an hour of walking, the sky was red, the streets were busy, and I arrived at Daniel's place empty. But I have to move forward, I will forget about this so that my comrades don't worry.

Mother Dan greeted me warmly, “you're late, let's have breakfast.” she said with a bright smile as she picked up a towel and threw it at me. I just nodded and walked while drying my body. With a blank stare I walked towards the bathroom, “G, have you had breakfast?” Kris said hello while patting my shoulder, I just smiled and shook my head, continuing my activities to a soundless finish.

After breakfast and all the equipment was ready, Daniel ordered a taxi, Kris and I waited outside the gate, while Danny still got a kiss and a farewell hug from his mother. It was not until 10 minutes that the taxi arrived at our place, heading towards Mount Clarke to clear our minds.

On the way, Kris and Danny did not stop asking what happened this morning, and I replied via text to maintain privacy. I told them everything that happened to my two best friends, their faces slowly turned grim, but I didn't want to ruin our show. I pat their backs and show a smile on my face, after some topics I finally fell asleep, “wake me later ya.”
