TERRA EMPIRE: ON THE EVE OF WORLD WAR
Episode 34: THE PRESIDENT RETURNS OR THEY DIE

“I want to talk to Lieutenant Mills... You heard me, Lieutenant Mills?”

Having not received a response from the police he was looking for, he called back, “My answer, Lieutenant Mills. I know you can hear me..”.

“Lieutenant Mills here!” the sound on the walkie-talkie finally responded.

“Congratulations, Lieutenant! I see you've secured President Tramp.”

“Makes your plans messy, doesn't it? Forgive us,” replied Lieutenant Mills in a mocking tone. “After this I ask you all to give up. We will treat you well when you stop this crazy action.”

“You think we're here because we give up easily?” reply the leader chuckled. “Just the opposite remember, we still have many hostages that benefit our position.”.

“Then what do you want now? Want to get some rewards for your hostages? Name the price so that this drama will end faster,” Lieutenant Mills challenged.

“I told you, this is not for making money. We came here because we didn't give up easily. We will use hostages to complete our mission,” the leader ****** and then call his men to bring Carl Trish and the security guard up to the window. “Tell the Presidential guards to bring the cursed bastard back here, or we will kill the hostages one by one.”.

“A...what do you mean?” ask Lieutenant Mills.

“Oh, I'm sure you heard my words loud and clear, Lieutenant. You just need a little confirmation push,” the leader ****** that still keeps pressing the walkie-talkie button know-know pull the trigger gun…

“JANGGAANN!!”

Carl Trish screamed hysterically but the thump of the criminal's gun immediately swallowed his scream, just a second later...YONG…

The leader of ******* brought the walkie-talkie back to his lips, “Have you heard that one, Mills? Bring your President back or hostages here we will kill one by one, one by one, every hour.until he comes back here.we will see if your leader can sacrifice his people for his own safety.”.

Everyone who was crowding around Lieutenant Mills was stunned. Didn't expect the******* acting so far away. At the first minute the sound****** was heard from a communication device held by the police, Lana and Jordan immediately raised their eyes to the fifth floor, where they were taken, right to the window on the side where the Junior Tramp workspace is located.

The two witnessed themselves through the window that was no longer constrained by the glass how****** dragged the victim closer, pinned the gun to the victim's head, and fired his gun before his victims collapsed and chaos engulfed the place. From the visible silhouette, there was another captive who was with that person up there.

“The man is sadistic..” Lana told Jordan.

“Luckily we're out of there,” Jordan responded.

“Yes, but what about the captives still left there?”

“Now you should call the President to come back here or this person is also dead soon..” the leader ******* said in a walkie-talkie held by Lieutenant Mills.

“Why did you kill Michael.basis crazy..” Carl Trish's groan sounded behind the leader's speech *******.

“Carl...thank goodness he's alive.” Professor McQueen says he's relieved and looks around. “Who is Michael? Does anyone know who Michael is?”

“Michael Perez! He's my men who tonight are actually duty-free, ” replied the Chief Security Machina Factory who apparently listened. “She came just to see your show, Professor.”

“Really darling! He shouldn't be in Machina tonight. And now they're also going to kill Carl,” Professor McQueen said.

“Wait for what else, Lieutenant!” admonish the leader******* which again provokes through communication tools. “Your time is getting narrower because the President is almost at the helicopter. Call him...or do you want to let this guy I shot dead?”

“Then do something soon, Lieutenant!” Professor McQueen rebuked him. “Or my assistant, Carl, will be killed.”

“Sniper, talk to me.. Can you guys get a shooting target?” Lieutenant Mills asked his men over the SFPD special communications radio.

“Pos one, negative!”

“Pos three, negative!”

“Pos two, little target parts. But not clean.”

“Position in the tower closer, why don't you try to aim for it, post two?” Lieutenant Mills tried to bargain.

“Negative, sir! There is a corner of the building that blocks the view. Most likely I will also hit the hostage standing in front of him.”

“Job!” Lieutenant Mills curses hearing that answer.

“Time is running low, Lieutenant Mills! You can rescue the hostages and hold the President away.Select, the President goes or those who die.” the leader******** is again provoking.

Irritatedly the police replied to the provocation via walkie-talkie belonging to ****, “You know I can't do that, crazy bastard!” the man turned away his communication device helplessly, looking resignedly at Professor McQueen and the Head of Security. “Nothing we can do now.”

The Chief of Security groaned, “If you do not want to do it, let me just.” revoked the gun on his waist and ran after the President's entourage.

“Hey...hey..what are you doing..” Lieutenant Mills was wide-eyed to see the Chief of Security running away leaving him like a wounded tiger, he shouted to the other police members. “Capture the man.he was about to kill the President.” spontaneously five burly men in police uniforms chased after him, including Lieutenant Mills and several members of Machina Factory security.

Jack Higgins is happy because soon his task will be lighter. After President Tramp left this place, the responsibility of escorting the number one person in his country was no longer on his shoulders. His hope would soon be realized in a few more steps before the man boarded the helicopter that had been seen in front of there.

The Apache pilot kept the engine running with the propeller left to spin weakly as a standard that was set so that the air vehicle could be ready to leave at any time in any crucial situation. The roaring wind from the helicopter's propeller slightly made a dazed move but did not hinder both Tramps to climb onto the rear bench while Ryan was on the centre bench.

Senior Tramp had not had time to close the door on the hull of the helicopter when there was a shout of the man running around. From his uniform Duncan Tramp recognizes him as a Machina Factory security member, and the man is not alone as several police officers come after him. I don't know what he wants but it's definitely not a good thing. The man's face was filled with a frustrated expression, looking even more dangerous with the gun dangling in his right hand.

“STOP THAT HELICOPTER.” The cry of the Chief of Security was clearer as he got closer to Apache with President Tramp astonished inside.

“What does it do?” muttered Duncan Tramp impatiently looking at the attitude of his men.

The security chief opened fire as a warning to the Apache pilots not to take off immediately, and it spontaneously caused Jack Higgins, Ryan Newman, and Bill Sandford to pull out their respective pistols.

“PRESIDENT TRAMP..DOWN FROM HELICOPTER NOW..”.

“TURN DOWN YOUR GUN, MAN!” Jack warned by not losing out loud.

Despite being under the gunfire of the three Secret Service members, as well as a group of other policemen who followed him and are now in the place, the middle-aged man does not seem to care. He kept pointing a gun at President Tramp, and cocked his revolver trigger back, “KUMINTA ONCE AGAIN MR. THE TRAMP! GET OFF THE HELICOPTER..NOW!!!”
