Jack Higgins and Professor McQueen arrive at the mouth of the corridor to the emergency staircase minutes before the door opens. The agent checked the contents of his gun magazine to make sure there were still a lot of bullets in it to survive. In addition, he also prepared another magazine in his pants pocket to survive one round.
“They're coming,” whispered Professor McQueen in suspense.
The two men held their breaths as from behind the door came a man dressed in all black with an M16 rifle ready to fire when meeting an opponent. Fortunately the agent had already taken the position, he was in the best place to shoot and take cover at once.
From his movements the man was so careful, seemed to want to make sure first that no opponent attacked as soon as he came out of the door.something that would make the ******* disappointed because Jack was waiting in the mouth of the hallway with a pistol. It was just that the Secret Service agent held back for a moment to shoot, the man wanted to see how many more people would come out of the emergency stairway door.
It turned out that there was still another one following, after the first person appeared from the door. The two said something and nodded to each other, raised their weapons and walked down the hall to begin the sweep.
“Close your ears, Professor!” whispered Jack.
After saying so the agent opened fire.***** first screamed and collapsed kneeling to the floor with one leg that was hit by a shot of Jack Higgins. The man was still responding to the attack with the help of his friend who fired from behind, just because he did not know the position of Jack and Professor McQueen with the right shots they missed a lot.
Jack took cover behind a wall to make sure they weren't hit by stray bullets. In between the pauses of the shot the man inched with his body against the floor, peering into the exact situation to give a counter-shot. A BANG! A BANG!
Two shots, two bullets shot, and one of them hit the chest again****** first which instantly collapsed without mercy.******second screaming, it seemed to be calling out the name of his friend who was killed, asking him to wake up immediately, and it was something in vain because the life of that person had been hunted left behind his body. Or maybe the scream is an angry shout to Jack Higgins who managed to kill the colleague…
A BANG! A BANG!
******* both rushed to open the emergency staircase door to protect themselves. Which is the right decision because the hot lead hunting him only managed to land right in the middle of the door leaf. The ******** was furiously sticking the muzzle of his weapon from the edge of the door and then returned fire with no less powerful.
“Sial!” jack immediately took refuge behind a hiding wall.
The two exchanged gunfire several times afterwards.Jack could vaguely see how****** the second attempted to withdraw the body*******first in order to take shelter behind the emergency exit… something futile actually, but it might just be their code of conduct to not leave the comrades killed in battle.
“Our situation is dire! If we don't knock him out soon, we'll lose. My bullet is almost out,” Jack said after checking his gun. His speech was very reasonable because when the frequency of shots released by him reduced, the criminal could still fire his automatic weapon at will.
Just then there was a roar of alarms warning signs from downstairs, the sound was indeed not too loud when compared to the first alarm coming from the building system, but the loud sound made Professor McQueen's facial expression become excited and worried.
“They've managed to do my first plan..”.
“What's your first plan?”
“And you asked your son to do that?”
“Proven he succeeded, right!” professor McQueen. “For God's sake, can't you do something. Soon my son and his friend will reach the emergency stairs. If we have not been able to paralyze the person, they will cross paths with him.”.
“I want to do that, Professor! The problem is that person is still in the wind.” Jack replied.
“Sial..” Archibald McQueen shakes his head.
Just as the scientist was worried, Lana and Jordan had just passed through the entrance of the emergency staircase on the fourth floor and were preparing to go up when the first shot sounded. Both looked up and looked, the shouting of people and the scattering of gunfire convinced both that ******* it was in a pinch situation even though it still held its position. The shootout is ongoing and will most likely be beneficial for the ******* that is automatic.
“The agents couldn't get close to him,” Jordan whispered near Lana's ear.
Although the bang of the weapon is much louder than their sound but the pause between them will make the ******** above will be aware of the presence of others nearby if they talk in a normal voice.
“We have to do something,” Lana whispers back.
“You still carry that hammer?” Jordan asked softly.
The girl pulled out her hammer and Jordan reached out to pick it up. He gestured for the girl not to move while the teenager started climbing the stairs. Lana is wide-eyed, pulling out Jordan's arm to prevent her from rising…
“What the heck?” her lips briefly flashed the sentence, and Jordan only smiled soothingly with a hand signal so that Lana would not have to worry and let the boy do his plan. Lana let go of her grip with weight.
Jordan climbs the stairs in a row, his body ducking until docked with the staircase so that ******* above do not rush to see him before he gets to the top. The boy stuck his body through the staircase to see what was in front of him. On the last two steps, drops of blood flooded, apparently seeping from the dead body of the man who was shot in his chest. It is only fitting that******the living one is hysterical…
The teenager moved quickly from the staircase to the bottom steps, with the body against the wall, while the right hand holding the hammer was hidden so that it could become an element of surprise later. He moved slowly down the stairs, rising from one step to another. The distance that separated him from the ****** on the fifth floor was twenty-five steps, and if he could get through it quickly then he could knock out the person immediately…
Unfortunately, only midway through the********* know-how to duck down at the magazine stored at his waist, intending to take the new magazine to replace the almost empty one in his gun casing house, he said, and that was when he saw Jordan standing behind him. The ****** certainly recognized Jordan's face, but the shock of his expression was not defeated by his body's reaction which quickly turned to face Jordan…
The criminal's gun barked brutally.along with Jordan's moving right hand swinging…
