TERRA EMPIRE: ON THE EVE OF WORLD WAR
Episode 28: HAMMER ABOUT THE FACE

A criminal's gun that barks brutally…

Alongside his right hand that moved swinging the hammer...

Bursts of fire heat and deafening explosions…

Flashes of the images that are in the view of Jordan..moving quickly... not focused..Samar...nause it not only makes his head dizzy, but also presses his stomach up to the heart…

Jordan drowned in a strange and funny situation without realizing that he was gliding from the middle of the stairs due to the force of the bullets fired at him from close range. His swinging right hand was unable to maintain the grip on the hammers handle, the thing slipped off, and miraculously.however...the swift glide struck the face****** that was behind the mask,… something he was about to do when he swung it.

Along with Jordan crashing into the wall of the emergency staircase,****** whose face had just been hit by the flying hammer accidentally slipped, his foot stepped on a pool of blood on the top steps, and lost balance. His ear that was still stuck in the gun accidentally pulled the trigger so his automatic rifle shot into the air several times before the criminal tumbled over.

His body rolled along the steps of the fifth floor towards the fourth floor, racing with his victims who almost hit him. Jordan slammed hard against the wall before collapsing to the floor with a loud bang. He failed to prevent a collision behind the head but at least managed to tilt the body so that when landing it was not his face that directly hit the tile.

“JORDAAANN..”

Lana ran up the stairs with long strides, approached her friend who was bowing motionless, and turned Jordan's body upside down. He examined his friend's body, especially in the part where the criminal had fired his gun, and the girl felt tremendous relief after not finding any bullets or blood on Jordan's body. Although not injured, Jordan felt tremendous pain along the chest to the heart. Not to mention the one that spread on the side of his body that made it difficult to move.

“Say something Jordan..” Pinta Lana.

Lana's shout sounded faintly at Jordan's hearing, her last words stirring something inside her so that the teenager was suddenly shaken and coughed, holding her head to throw away the dizzy, jordan's eyes opened slowly and saw Lana's face nearby. The girl's face looked relieved, her eyes were teary-eyed…

“Thank God..you're alive...thank goodness..”.

“I've felt worse than this.” Jordan responded with a choked voice around his neck before coughing once again.

“You were right..This vest saved us...saved you..”.

“It seems so..” Jordan tried to get up and decided to sit on the wall to recover first. He gasped to find out ****** that was lying nearby showed no signs of life. “Is he dead?”

“LANAAA..”

Professor Queen's cry sounded as the door of the emergency staircase on the fifth floor opened. A feeling of haru as well as anxiety emanated on the face of Father Lana, who immediately went down the steps to hug her daughter, “Thank God you are okay.”.

Lana's father was not alone.he was accompanied by a dark-skinned man whom Jordan saw at the gala event.that's the person who blocked him and Lana when they were about to approach President Tramp…he stood firmly in the dimness of the top of the fifth floor staircase with a gun in hand. Apparently it was with him that the ****** earlier had a firefight…

“Daddy...” Lana could not hold haru when hugging the father.

“You all right, son?” Professor McQueen looks at Jordan.

“Still alive so far, sir!” jordan smiled.

“The criminal shot Jordan, dad! Lucky he wore your vest.”

Professor McQueen nodded happily, “You know what to wear at a time like this, son!”

“Lana who knows better, sir!”

“Attractive vest,” says Jack Higgins who has apparently descended to the fourth floor. “It looks like you should have something like that.”

“One of my failed inventions, actually,”, said Professor McQueen.

Hearing that answer Jordan turned to Lana. The girl just shrugged and smiled clumsyly, as she said without a sound, “It works, kok!”

“Did he die?” the agent then observes the ******* that was tumbling with Jordan.

“Hail?” Jack Higgins frowned

“I brought it from the fourth floor,” Lana pointed at the hammer that was stretched out on the tenth step of the lower order. Lying not far from some bullets that bend after hitting the protective vest worn by Jordan.“I was going to use the elevator emergency button.”

“And you succeeded..lift it has not had time to go up to the fifth floor,” said Professor McQueen.

Jack Higgins looks up after examining the corpse *******. “No pulse. That's relieving. Well what is this?”

The face of the agent was more and more excited to find the walkie-talkie radio tucked away behind the clothes******* that. The radio looks fine and still works. He turned to Professor McQueen. “With this we can monitor their movement.”

“Advantage for us, right?” said the scientist.

“Very!” Jack Higgins. “Come, we should immediately return to the protection room before ******others realize their failure.”

“You can wake up, son?” ask the professor with a worried look.

“I think you can,” Jordan nodded then stood up slowly.

He frowned holding back the stinging. His body was still in pain in some parts, especially in the heartburn where the bullet was lodged***** and the right rib that was the pedestal of his brutal landing just now. Her legs were trembling a bit as a body support but that was not a problem because Lana and her father gave their shoulders as a support and it helped a lot.

"Thanks!”

The three climbed to the top following Jack Higgins who had already reached the top of the stairs. Lana took the hammer lying on the steps and slipped it behind the belt. He felt he had to carry the hammer because he felt safe with him. It was proven that the hammer saved him and Jordan, even if it was accidentally.

Jordan felt better not how long after they reached the fifth-floor hallway. He no longer needs Lana's or Professor McQueen's support, although he can't walk as fast as he usually does. Jack Higgins walks ahead, keeping watch while making sure no****** appears suddenly on the way to the hideout. Something unnecessary of course considering the******** on both teams has been disabled…

“We do not know what will happen next,” commented the agent.

Just as he was saying that there was a huge explosion that shook the windows, a flash of a fireball that glowed rapidly before being swallowed by a puff of smoke and a fire that engulfed part of the front side of the main building. The four were wide-eyed as they approached the window and found police and SWAT teams scattering away. The barricades carried out by the police in the back of their cars also did not last as they should, some of the officers even died in terrible conditions.

Lana closed her eyes because she could not see the chaos that was going on down there, “My Lord they died.don't let them all die.”.

Just then came the sound of the walkie-talkie Jack Higgins took from ******* who was killed, “You have already felt the magnitude of our power, Lieutenant Mills? Don't let your men die silly! I still have a lot of bombs like this in this building.”

“The policemen were unable to hold out against them.” Jack said with a concerned face.

Professor McQueen said sadly, “These terrorists are not messing with their efforts!”

“They are not afraid to finish everyone off,” timpal Jordan.

“Are they still in the hall downstairs?” ask Lana. “Hopefully they continue there so we can be safe here.”

“Take it easy, Lana! We are safe on this floor,” said his father.

“The most important thing is now securing the President and everyone here with..” the man fell silent, it seems like he just got a good idea. “...I think this is a good time to act.”

“What do you mean, Mr. Higgins?” Professor McQueen. “What do you think?”

“While ****** busy with police and SWAT team, we can take the opportunity to get out of here live live live.but we have to do it now.” Jack responded. “Come, Professor..we call the others..”.
