SURVIVES

Chapter 29

They walked to Samuel's father's company, because there was no vehicle they could ride to get there.  Samuel and the others had wondered why during their journey there they did not find a single human or a monstrous creature. Where are the humans? are they all hiding? or have they all turned into monsters?

Many questions are currently passing in their heads, along 10 kilo meters of distance they have traveled. Fortunately, from the airport area to the company does not take up to tens of kilo meters, because the position of the company is in the middle of the city and quite close to the airport, so Samuel and the others were able to breathe a sigh of relief even though they were also feeling tired.

"Why are so many people there, Sam?"  Ina pointed towards a skyscraper that looks like it is being mobbed by time, or rather being dredged by monstrous creatures. The creature blocked the entrance into the skyscraper.

Samuel was heard cursing slowly to see it, because the building is the company of the father who became the cause of all the chaos in the city and the country.

Samuel could see it from the big screen that was installed in the middle of the city. The whole city even this country is like a dead city, but only a few days infected with this strange virus, but the impact is really unexpected. Even state officials prefer to protect themselves and their families rather than having to get out of their underground bunkers.

"That's the company, let's just go in through the back door. Remember heart lest they realize we are here!" Samuel's voice whispered but sounded resolute.

Ina and the others just nodded their heads obediently, they started walking settling into the precipitate. Their eyes cannot be separated from those creatures. Yet another with Samuel, the man is seen focusing step by step so as not to happen the desired thing.

One of the women's legs behind Aiko tripped on her own shoes because she was out of focus. The woman almost fell down if only Aiko's body didn't stop her. But because of the small sound that the olenya created, the creature turned its gaze towards them, then as fast as the lightning Samuel and the others hid in the bushes or even garbage cans that were near them.

There was currently no place they could choose to be hiding.  Ina even adheres to Aiko behind ornamental shrubs. Meanwhile, Zean Samuel and Anita are behind a large garbage can that has issued an unpleasant aroma.

They all held their breaths as the creature was still staring at their hiding place. But Samuel and the others breathed a sigh of relief as the creatures turned their empty eyes back in another direction.

Samuel moved his lips without making any sound, the man crawled out of the hiding area, followed by Zean and Anita the Mama. While Ina and Aiko are seen starting to emerge from behind a shrub of plants when they see Samuel has come out of their hiding area, followed by others.

After some time spent by them to get around this building area, Samuel finally decided to enter this building through the air ducts, because all the doors in this building have been locked automatically.

"You sure about Sam?"

Ina was not sure about Samuel, was there any way they could get into the airways? I'm sure it won't be comfortable in there later.

"This is our only way in." Samuel tried to convince them that it was getting late and the creature would come back aggressive at night.

"You come or you don't, I won't force you to come along. If only my access card hadn't fallen off my jacket maybe we could have gotten into this building through that door." Samuel's restoring his hair in frustration, at a time like this the goddamn card's gone.

"You mean this card Sam?"

Ina reached into her warm jacket pocket and pulled out a black card from there.
