Chapter 44 (The Past That Returns)

After reaching home Riko immediately rushed up the stairs to his room.Riko opened the door and seen Melati crying a mouthful on the bed.Riko slowly approached and sat on the bed patting his back.

"I'm sorry, I really didn't know Angel was there" Riko said softly.

Melati did not respond and still continued to cry.

"Dear listen to me, Angel is just my past so there's no reason for you to be jealous."

"Who is that woman, why is she so close to you and all this time you've never told me about that woman,"

"For what reason have I told the woman***** that made a wound in my heart, I have buried it deeply," Riko brightly scratched a bit of her painful past.

"Why did he come back?" tanya Melati got out of bed and sat down beside her husband.

"I know, I know she's in America with her affair" said Riko with a voice that felt tight and a tone of pain when telling her.

Her face lowered, concealing her sadness, the daze that caught the distress signal immediately hugged her husband.

"I'm sorry, I don't know how much this hurt you've had" she said softly in her husband's arms.

He did not want to pry any further about Angel because only the wounds would be in his possession.

In the morning after Riko left for work, Melati rushed to Mia's house with Nayya escorted by her driver.

Melati knocked on the door and the door opened.

"Dear your tumben here, you come in," said Mia let in.

"Yes that's the way it is" said Melati did not want to tell me more considering Mia is her husband's ex-wife.

"So that's how it is, I'm not pa pa kok!" mia sat her body on the sofa.

"I'm not here to tell you about my honeymoon, I want to ask you about Angel!"

Mia was aghast at the name of Angel she had just heard.

"Mak Mia must know about Angel and Mas Riko."

"Angel-" said Mia, recalling the past.

"He's Riko's childhood best friend and Riko's first love."

"Isn't Mas Riko's first love Mia's mother?".

"It wasn't me but Angel.Riko almost ended her life because of that woman,"

Melati was flabbergasted to hear Mia's story her mouth was gaping as if in disbelief and immediately covered it with her hands.

"Why is Riko that strong?".

"Angel and Riko from childhood were very close and Angel was everything to Riko but since Riko was busy managing her business Angel left Riko and chose to be with other men." explained Mia.

"Why are you asking about Angel?" ask Mia.

"He's back here."

"What, Angel's back." Mia was staring at it.

"Why then, why would you be so surprised to hear Angel coming back?" jasmine is full of question marks.

After talking long enough, Melati also returned home.

Desi, Bik Minah and Mbak Yanti who heard the loud voice immediately rose.

"Bik, hurry up and call Mas Riko!" pinta jasmine.

Bik Minah followed by yanti and desi then went downstairs to call Riko.

A few minutes later Riko had returned and saw the woman who had left him was in control of his room with Melati.

"What do you want gel?" hardik Riko stood in front of the door with wide eyes while Melati trailed behind her.

Angel who was lying down then got out of bed and approached Riko.

"Why are you so rude Ko, I came here to visit my house and this is my room so what's my fault" Angel said, letting out crocodile tears.

Riko pulled the angel's hand and dragged him out of his room.

"Take Ko off, let go," angel whimpered in pain.

"Mommy," cried the little boy who was with the angel he cried seeing his mommy treated harshly.The little girl ran over and hugged his mommy.

"Honey, mommy is not pa pa" said Angel lifted her daughter and carried her.

"Alexa, He is your Dad" said Angel, pointing at Riko.

"Really mommy?"

Angel nodded.

"Daddy" calls Alexa to hug her Daddy but Riko is indifferent.

His eyes widened to hear Angel's confession as well as Melati.They did not believe Angel's confession.

"What do you mean Angel, why are you saying I'm his Daddy?" hardik Riko demanded an answer.

"Yes you are Daddy Alexa" Angel then walked up to pick up her bag on the bed and picked up a piece of paper.

"It's read!" angel handed the paper to Riko.

Riko read it and the result is 99.99 percent match it signifies Alexa her biological daughter.

"No, this is not true you must have planned it," said Riko tore the paper she just read into small fragments and spread it.

"It's up to you to believe it or not but I've already told you the truth."

"Then why after all this time you just came back, why don't you come back so knowing you're pregnant with my son?"

"My life was so hard I was tortured and held captive by my lover so knowing I was carrying another man's seed.Da didn't let me come back here, the man was a psychopath I tortured him all out and it became a happiness for him," said Angel while crying as if to tell the heartache of his life.

Jasmine who heard Angel's confession so bitterly shed tears then moved to go to Nayya's room.Water her eyes continued to flow immediately she removed and hid.Netraya stared at the innocent face that was sleeping soundly.

"You're luckier than Alexa, son" he said stroking Nayya's head.

Riko who realized Melati was not behind him then turned around to look for her whereabouts.

"Riko went where you were, I haven't finished talking yet" Angel shouted but Riko didn't press her.

Riko then walks towards Nayya's room and sees her looking at Nayya full of sadness.
