Chapter 2 (Acquiring a Work Call)

A few days passed but Melati has not yet got a job call.She felt anxious to apply for work where else, he said, he has applied for a job dozens of times but the results are nil.She feels very desperate especially with the circumstances that are only SMK graduates.

Melati was sitting in the living room, seen him continue to look at the device in his hand.His mother came up to him and sat next to his first daughter.

"What's Mel doing?you look agitated, son?" ask her mother to start a conversation

"Disconced, Mom.It's been a few days but Melati has not been able to get a call from the company that Melati applied to work there," he replied with a face full of anxiety.

"Please baby, you can not despair.You can definitely work," continued his mother gave encouragement while patting Melati's shoulder slowly.

Suddenly the phone in his hand rang the sign of the phone coming in.

Melati prancing happily finished talking on the phone it made her mother stare questioningly.

"Lati got an interview call, ma'am." Melati hugging also kissed her mother's cheeks.Without wasting time immediately to her room to change clothes and take a bag.Dear pampit to her mother to go and do not forget to ask for a blessing prayer so that she received work.After half jam Melati also reached the company.Officers there immediately told Melati to enter the HRD room for an interview and finally Melati was immediately accepted to work as an office girl.

Long story short a few months passed Melati was used to working in the company.She was already familiar with other workers at her workplace.

Suddenly a woman came into the pantry.The woman was sitting down to her face, there was a sobbing cry from her mouth making Melati and her coworkers who were resting at that time feel cut out.

"Mel is mom, why cry?"

"I don't know" Melati replied.

Jasmine approached the mother and tried to calm her down.

"Sorry Mom, what's wrong?You cry?"

Seeing that innocent face at once the woman stopped crying.The moon-faced girl immediately caught his attention.

The woman immediately embraced him and shed her sorrow while sobbing the woman opened her story.The woman spoke at length but her last words made Melati almost lose her mind.

"Being a contract wife?" Melati repeated the woman's words.

"What do you mean, Mother?" timpale.

Melati still did not understand the offer from the woman.

"So my husband's 2nd wife?" answer the woman.

"Huh ...." Melati was flabbergasted by the woman's words.

"You will be the mother of my husband's child, I will pay whatever you ask."

"You know who I am, I am the wife of the owner of this company.Whatever you ask me will grant it.Woman named Mia was already lost her mind because of pressure from her husband's family she was forced to do the crazy thing.

"I'm sorry, I'm not that kind of woman even though I'm poor but I have my pride!" resolutely refused.

"Think carefully, this is just a contract marriage.My husband will divorce you once the child is born and you can move on with your life." Mia continued to persuade.

"You just have to marry siri" she said.

"I'm sorry, I can't!"

Melati immediately left the room with a feeling of annoyance and sadness.Sad because the poor seemed to have no self-esteem in the eyes of the rich woman.
