SLAVE TO THE VAMPIRE PRINCE

SLAVE TO THE VAMPIRE PRINCE
EPS. 36

"I don't trust anyone" whispered Lucy.

"But you trust Arthur more?" Said Lauden, who was being burned by the flames of jealousy.

"I'm not saying that, I'm just saying that I don't trust anyone. That means I don't trust Arthur either" Lucy said.

"You like it,"

"I don't like anybody."

"You tend to believe that your mother killed herself rather than was killed by your uncle,"

"It's not that I believe in Arthur that I am at ease when I know my mother killed herself but because far from the bottom of my heart I wish she had killed herself, not killed by my uncle. It would make me want to hate him, I don't want to hate anyone." Lucy tries to explain why she wished her mother had killed herself.

The two of them looked at each other with sharp gazes at each other.

"Shhh..." Vladimir whispered from behind the table, reminding the crown prince and his feuding slave to be quiet. She also pulled the tip of her index finger to her lips.

Vladimir's movements left Lauden and Lucy speechless. Meanwhile, the two doctors looked to the left and right looking for the source of the sound.

"You hear anything?" Ask the doctor who wears a stethoscope around his neck.

"No" replied the other doctor.

"But I heard it" the stethoscope objected.

The doctor with a stethoscope around his neck walked into the closet that was hiding Lauden and Lucy.

"You scared?" Lauden's whispers when she heard Lucy's heartbeat thump.

"No, I'm just worried they found us here." His kill.

From between the cabinets, Lauden's eyes and the doctor met. Whether conscious or not but Lauden realized there was something strange about the doctor. Faintly, he saw the doctor's skin look very pale and radiant. Both of them still look fresh.

"He's a vampire?" Lauden.

Lucy looked up too.

"I think so," Lucy replied in a whisper.

Vladimir asked through a gesture, "should we attack him?"

Vladimir saw Lauden's head moving between the cupboard crevices.

"Hey, stop. There's nothing but dead bodies here. Hurry on! we have to finish this before anyone comes." The other doctor's sweat.

The doctor with the stethoscope turned around and gave liquid to Uncle Lucy's entire body from the injection.

Lucy furrowed her brows. He felt something was wrong with them both.

"What are they doing?" hisses.

After making sure the liquid was absorbed into the pores of Lucy's pony skin, the two people calmly walked out of the room.

"Are you okay?" Lauden asked as the three came out of hiding.

"Yes"

"What are vampires doing here?" Lauden asked confusedly.

Vladimir immediately examined Uncle Lucy's body. Lucy still feels stunned whenever she sees the dead body of the person who raised her when she was a child.

Vladimir checked the liquid they gave him. The liquid has dried up. However, Lauden looked at the back of the neck, where the liquid was still left.

The man sniffed it with his nose.

"This is a trace of vampire liquid" Lauden said confidently.

"These waters remove any traces that suggest the presence of foreign DNA from humans" Lauden said.

"Meaning, the vampire kingdom already knows about this case" Vladimir said.

Lauden and Vladimir looked at each other. If there's a human DNA-removing concoction, it means the royal family of vampires already knows about the case, and they must have formed an investigation team to look for the whereabouts of Lucy's father.

"Great!" vladimir's Exclamation.

"What's wrong?" Lucy who did not understand anything about the rules in the vampire world was simply dumbfounded. He felt that something was trapping his father. For him, there was a royal family that already knew of his father's whereabouts out there. However, their timing is perfect with Lucy's father leaving the dungeon Lauden provided.

Lauden began stroking her chin to think more clearly. One wrong action will result in war or punishment for everyone.

He started walking towards the door of the room that had been closed by the two vampires disguised as doctors.

The only way to get out of this problem is to go in first. If we don't get into the room, we won't be able to find a way out. That's what Lauden is thinking right now.

"Vla, go to Xandified right now. Find out where Damien is. Immediately arrest him before the castle troops. And don't let you guys be chased." Lauden

"Good sir."

Vladimir bent his body to form a ninety-degree arc, and turned the stride backward, according to Lauden's orders.

"Your father doesn't need your uncle's blood. If he only needed blood to drink, in your uncle's body there should be bite marks. But this isn't. It seemed like he was just revenge," Lauden concluded his observation.

Lucy turned her eyes away from her uncle because she herself could not accept this reality.

"My father can't take revenge on his own brother. There must have been someone who framed my father" Lucy said.

"What do you mean?" Ask Lauden.

"There must be another vampire who did this and acted as if my father was the culprit." Think Lucy.

"But, you know for yourself, right? All the vampires gathered at the palace to celebrate the welcoming party that Lethia made last night. Let's just say it's true that there were other vampires who killed your uncle, but they all have alibis." Lauden.

Lucy breathed in disappointment. That's all he had in mind so his father wouldn't be the suspect the vampires were looking for. But what Lauden revealed just now also has a point.

"My uncle is a good man even though he sucks. Know it? he always scolded me if I didn't come home because of work. I hope he'll settle down in God's paradise." Lucy whispered before covering the man's body with a white cloth and returning him to his original place.

Lauden just kept listening.

"Did you promise not to kill my father when we meet?"

Lauden replied, "I can't promise anything."

Lucy laughed sadly. "That's it, huh?"

"Because the vampire kingdom has no tolerance for humans hurting other humans, therefore they will also look for the person we are looking for. So don't let them find your father before we do. Again, don't say anything when you're dealing with Arthur." Lauden.

"Arthur is not evil" Lucy tells Lauden, who appears to hate Arthur.

"You yourself just said that there's nothing to believe in this world."
