SLAVE TO THE VAMPIRE PRINCE

SLAVE TO THE VAMPIRE PRINCE
Eps. 26

"You call me sir?" A messenger boy came to Lauden who was reading his book.

"Find out who brought Lucy's father as a big bang offering, and don't forget to ask him who's behind all this" Lauden said in a soft voice.

"There's more, sir?

"While that's all,"

"Well then, I go first. Excuse me." The young man left after nodding his head.

Lauden got up from her seat and intended to return to her room.

In the room.

Lucy was pacing to and fro because of confusion and annoyance mixed at once into one.

Arthur's question of whether Lucy will be a slave to Lauden forever truly haunts him every breath. He began to think about what would happen when his father recovered from the transition.

He felt that the world of vampires was not a place for him. He can't be here forever. But even to get out of here, he was helpless.

Click...

The sound of the door opening made Lucy turn her head and look at the silhouette that made her fret all the time.

"What are you doing?" ask Lauden.

"What's? I-I'm doing muscle sports. Yes muscle sports," said Lucy stammered because she felt the reason was not logical.

"What will be formed from a plywood like you?" cibir Lauden opened his royal robe and was about to pass into the bathroom.

"Wait a minute" stop Lucy.

Lauden raised her eyebrows when she looked at Lucy, as if to say "What?"

Lucy twisted her fingers, confused where to start. But he also had to dare to ask permission. His little heart said that there was a hidden goodness in Lauden. The man will allow it, especially after saving his father, Lucy becomes convinced that Lauden will help him.

"Sir, may I ask you something?" Said Lucy.

Lauden is stunned by Lucy's call to him which begins to soften. It is not usual for the girl to be a submissive.

"Say," said Lauden coldly. And don't forget his typical intimidating sharp gaze.

"I've been living in the human world for a decade. Everything I saw at the time was understandable and reasonable. However, things have seemed absurd since I came to this castle. I don't feel right with you guys. You can't die, whereas I can, you can read other people's minds, and I can't, and you have a weird ritual. The strangest thing is you call it the big bang. The more I think about it, the more I feel like everything is not right for me. No phones, no televisions, no shops. There is no human being, nothing is normal for me. This vampire castle is not my world, Lauden. Even being your slave isn't something I want?" Ask Lucy in one breath.

Lucy tried to negotiate with him. He dared to pour out his heart after seeing Lauden from a distance earlier. She thought Lauden was kind, and would fulfill her request after feeling sorry for her.

"Say what you mean?" Ask Lauden.

"So, I beg you to fulfill my wish. When my father is healed and goes through his transition, can you just let us both get out of here?" Lucy pleads with a face made as clear as possible.

Lauden stepped closer to Lucy with a face that was difficult to decipher. When he arrived in front of Lucy, his hand touched Lucy's broken hair.

"You're not as smart as I thought you were" Lauden said with a cynical smile.

"What do you mean?" Lucy asked.

"If your father had gone through his transition, he would no longer be human as he was. The human world would not be suitable for him

Just like you feel in the world of vampires. Taking him away from here would only be a disaster for mankind itself. Don't you understand that?" Lauden.

"But yesterday you said you were going to teach him to drink animal blood right? So, she wouldn't be as dangerous as most people in the movie tell her?" Said Lucy.

"Do you think his vampire instincts can't be awakened after living around humans?" Lauden.

Lauden leaned toward Lucy, sniffing her neck with a hunting breath.

Lucy took a step back.

"That's why vampires are forbidden to leave the territory of Dysis. You can't imagine what kind of disaster would happen if a new vampire lived with weak humans like you. The new vampire has a stronger human bloodthirsty instinct than the senior vampire. You'll probably get killed." Lauden.

A clear water fell from Lucy's eyes. The woman touched his cheek. What Lauden says makes her realize that she will be trapped in a vampire world forever.

If he escaped from this vampire castle with Arthur, what about his father? If he didn't escape, could he possibly live with Lauden forever?"

He started crying in front of Lauden.

"Don't cry in front of me" cried Lauden.

Lucy lowered her head, hiding the tears that were unwilling to stop dripping. He was even intrigued because he refrained from being heard.

"I'm really going to punish you if you don't stop crying right now Lucy" Lauden continued.

As much as Lucy could shrink her stuffing, wiping her face and nose with the back of her hand and looking at Lauden grimly.

"But... How could my father live here?" Said Lucy.

Lauden replied, "when the transition is over, he is no longer human, as you might imagine. He adapts easily to the world of vampires."

Hearing those words, Lucy suddenly felt angry. Imagining his father becoming a vampire and living off the blood of animals made him growl in silence.

Lucy's hands clenched, and she clutched Lauden's collar.

"Why did you turn my father into a monster like you? Huh huh? Isn't it enough that you're making my life miserable? Why my father too?"

Lucy, who once thought Lauden was a good man for saving her father from death, now considers Lauden evil for turning her father into a monster. He himself actually did not know how he should look at the figure of Lauden. Is he a good man? Or is he a bad guy?

Nevertheless, Lucy just realized that the nature of her father like that will make her more imprinted in this castle.

"Have you forgotten that I saved him?" Lauden whispered.

Lucy took off her grip on Lauden's shirt. Now, he placed his hand on his forehead, confused as to what would happen next.

"You said I turned your father into a monster like me, right? So, you think I'm a monster, do you?" Lauden asked, repeating Lucy's previous statement.

"No, I mean..."

Lucy took a few steps back while trying to revise her sentence. He thought Lauden would be furious at his blatant insult to the vampire. However, something inside Lauden's eyes implied that the man also did not want to become the monster he was now. Lucy doesn't know why she's starting to feel sorry for the man.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to say that you're a monster. I was too emotional because I wanted to vent anger alone.I was angry because I did not know how to live in this strange place" Lucy said stammering.

Lauden said, "Why are you apologizing? I hate the way you see me full of pity, like that. I don't need pity."

Lucy took her eyes off Lauden. Can not stand also lingering raw face with brown iris that looks glassy but looks unsheathed.

"Monster need not be pitied, but the monster must be feared" continued Lauden coldly.
