As soon as Ken climbed into the schooner with a limping step while holding Krista, he shouted. "Take us out of here."
The sail of the ship has been adjusted fluttering and they certainly leave the port, although according to Ken is still not fast. He needed a storm-caller or a natural-coordinated person for this trip, but they were hard to find.
The atmosphere on board the ship was boisterous, enlivened by people pulling the strings and fixing the schooner sail to the open free sea as soon as possible.
"Yes!" Shouted Ken to a man he chose to pilot the ship, one of the skilled sailors. Once a pirate crew in the Red Sea, his ship was attacked by another sailor and Krul Septicaye was the only survivor. He was lying on the island inland, from there Aye (Ai) saw a ship that turned out to be his crew's enemy during the war. His clothes are still in the form of a man. When Aye killed one of the enemy crew who wore dark-bodied clothes like an assassin for his maid outfit, with decent clothes he began to get everywhere. While Aye was walking down the island, she came across one of the prisoner ships on the island. The owner is under investigation from the Kalterville police, Aye rescues the man from custody and takes him away with his owner, his ship. And since then, Aye has her own ship and became one of the pirate captains that surfaced in any ocean. Until now, he was looking for his lamp enemy, until he was chosen by Geak. "Remind your crew before I crack their necks one-on-one."
Krul skillfully disciplined his crew. "If you understand, call my name!"
"Aye aye captain!" As they chant together, he is indeed a captain, and Ken is his commanding officer.
Ken's chest is very sick, only now it hurts since he lost his kidney because he fell from a ship carrying bank deposits to the side of the port wall. Maybe the kidneys are very likely to react badly again. Krista's weight intensifies her breathing, but when Tera tries to help her Ken just passes her.
"Where's Silva?" ask Ken.
"While caring for the wounded man downstairs, he has restored me," Ken faintly saw the dried blood on Tera's neck. "Reyn was hit by a bullet in the fight. Let me help you--"
"Keep away," Ken said, then he went down the ledge to the bottom.
He saw Silva taking care of Reyn in the cramped cabin. The girl's hand was lifted into the young man's arm, correcting the bullet scratches by knitting the impregnated flesh. Just a small scratch.
"Sana" Ken orders, and Reyn jumps right off the table.
"I haven't finished-" Silva started, then saw Krista. "For the sake of Goddess Shi, what is it?"
"Puncture."
The empty cabin was illuminated by a number of lanterns that were shaking slowly, while on top were bandages rolled up in the bottle neatly. Slowly, Ken put Krista to bed on the table
"The blood is a lot" Silva said.
"Help him."
"I'm a Heart Furniture, Ken, not a real healer."
"He must have been dead before we found a real healer. Just work on it."
"You're blocking the light."
Ken took a few steps back into the hallway, while Krista lay quietly in Silva's lap. Its brown skin looks shiny looking wood under the spotlight of the lantern.
Ken's still alive thanks to him, and they're still alive thanks to Ken. They managed to escape even though they had been cornered, and because Krista who subverted the enemy one by one made them fail to be completely surrounded. Ken knew death, this time he felt death on the boat, the fight he went through earlier, they almost took away the Cat.
"Unless you can help me," Silva said without turning to the young man's face, Ken noticed. "Sana, go, you're making me nervous." Ken hesitated, then turned himself around and left the cabin, taking the time to change clean shirts. Ken shouldn't have been this shaken, just because of the clashes at the docks, but in fact. His heart felt sore and slashed. This feeling was the same as when she was a child, on the desperate day that Keiko died.
Say sorry, that's the last thing Krista said to her. What does he want Ken to apologize for? Probably many, thousands of mistakes, thousands of tol*l scorn. On the deck, Ken breathed in the deep sea air, and he saw Moontown disappearing from the horizon.
"What the fuck was that?" ask Tera. He leaned against the fence, his pupils grew, he almost looked like he had just come down from someone's bed. He always looked like that after a fight. Reader was bending over the fence of the ship, Ken heard her vomiting. Not talented in sailing it turns out. They will need to shackle his legs again.
"We were ambushed" said Reyn from his place perched on a pile of wood. He was busy fumbling his healed red cheeks.
Tera glared at him ferociously. "Can a tutor from a high university and all this boy can say is 'We're ambushed'?"
"Stop calling me a boy" her face flushed red.
"You won't like the next nicknames I've prepared for you. I know we were ambushed, the incident has proven, and maybe the Boiler isn't the only Deal spy on Geak."
"Deal doesn't have enough intelligence or resources to get back at us this fast or this early" Ken said.
"You sure? The attack was pretty bad."
"Let's ask," Ken limped over to where Han was holding Roger.
I stabbed the Cat, giggling Roger earlier when Ken saw him lying on the ground. I stabbed him deeply. Ken saw the blood next to his chest, it looks like he stabbed you too. However, Krista's shot must have missed, otherwise this person would have died. Ken topples the tile man and tells Han to take him, while Ken himself searches for Krista's whereabouts.
Now Reader and Tera drag Roger to the fence, both hands tied behind them.
"Stand him."
With one big hand, Reader pulled the man up. Roger grinned, his wet hair slipping down on his forehead.
"How about you tell me why so many Deal members are hanging around tonight?" ask Ken.
"We owe you."
"Open clashes were met with thirty gunmen? Can't believe."
Roger sneered. "Deal doesn't like to be outdone."
"The Deal's brain is too narrow, so it fits into my shoes, while the only source of information on Geak is just the Boiler."
"Maybe he--"
Roger spat in his face.
Ken took a handkerchief from behind his black suit and carefully wiped his face clean. She remembered Krista who was still lying on the table, the girl's light body in her arms.
"Hold him" said Ken to Tera and the Bearchen. Ken flicked his arm and a thin knife appeared in his hand.
He nudged a knife into his eye - from his eyebrows to his cheekbone - and before Roger took a breath to screech, Ken made a second incision from the opposite direction, thus forming the perfect letter X. Roger is screaming now.
Ken rubbed the knife clean and put it back in his arm, and bribed Roger's eye socket with his gloved finger. The man howled and twitched as Ken pulled out his eyeballs to the wet red roots. Blood gushed into Roger's face.
Ken heard Reyn vomit. Not there, then Ken put the eye into Roger's mouth easily because he was screaming, and when Roger closed his mouth, Ken pulled the lower teeth out of his mouth. At least six teeth are covered. His anger seemed hot, awkward, and crazy. It was as if someone had broken his heart.
"Listen to me," he sis Ken, his face just inches from Roger's face. "You have two options, answer my question and then we'll drop you off at the next port for a fee enough to stitch your wound up and drive back home. Otherwise, I'll take your other eyeballs and I'll repeat this conversation with a blind man."
"Ordinary task" said Roger. "Deal will give a hundred thousand cairo to deploy us, and we will also recruit Lionolbars members as well."
"Who sent you?"
Roger sucked his lips.
"Don't make me repeat it, Roger." Ken's palm.
"He's gonna kill me."
"And I'll do that, choose one of those two options."
"Rav Frederic" sobbed Roger. "Rav Frederic's guy!"
Ken had a look at the impact of the name on Tera and Reyn, Reader was not intimidated, because he did not know much.
"For the sake of Goddess Shi," said Tera. "Our badass."
"Did Rav lead his own crew?"
"Kru what?"
"Departure to Barchen."
"I don't know anything about the crew, we were just told to stop you from leaving Moontown. I need a medic" she asked in pain.
Ken glanced at. "Of course, over here." He held Roger's collar and, resting on the fence of the ship, lifted the man.
"I've answered your question!" roger screams while thrashing. "I've obeyed your orders!"
Ken leaned his head, so that the others could not hear what he was saying. "The cat will certainly advise me to forgive you. But thanks to you, he's not here to defend you."
Without saying another word, Ken threw Roger into the sea.
"Don't!" reyn shouted while leaning behind the fence of the ship. His face was pale, his eyes trying to trace the whereabouts of Roger who was swayed by the waves of the sea. The voice of the tile is still heard until his battered face is lost into the sea.
"You should say argh, or something like a pirate" Tera said.
"I'd rather use my own name" Aye said beside him. "Krul's...."
'You-you said you'd--"
"You want to get thrown in too?" ask Ken to respond to Reyn.
Reyn took a deep breath, ready to throw his word of courage out of the air. "You're not gonna throw me off the ship, you need me."
Why do people always say that word? "Maybe" said Ken. "But now my mood is not being invited to think rationally."
Tera held onto the boy's shoulder. "That's it."
"Can't be--"
"Maybe your tutor didn't teach you anything like that. But, we must not argue with a man covered in blood and with a knife in his arm."
Reyn tightened his lips until he formed a thin line. Ken didn't know if the boy was scared or angry, which he obviously didn't care. Reader stood silently watching the entire incident, her face pale from seasickness.
Ken turned to Tera. "Shackle Reader's feet so she doesn't do anything" Ken said as he headed downstairs. "You guys get me clean clothes and fresh water."
"When did I become your personal servant?"
"The guy with the knife, remember?"
"Whose gun is the man with?"
Ken answered by pointing his middle finger, a gesture that was full of meaning and very practical. He wants to take a hot bath and drink his favorite tea water. But, aloof was already satisfied for him and did not smell the scent of blood for a while.
Rav Frederic, the edges are always the name of the man. The name was ringing in his head like the sound of a gunshot echoing. It was always Rav Frederic, the man who took everything from Ken. The man who now stands in Ken's way, gets in his way, gets in his way. Will Rav Frederic send his own crew to steal Erikson?
Ken whispers. "Little by little."
He was indeed tempted to kill Rav, but that alone was not enough. Ken wants him down, Ken wants him to suffer as he did to Ken, to Keiko. Perhaps Krista was right, whose name destiny exists.
