Ken awoke to the smell of a pungent smell, his eyes were lackluster and his vision blurry due to sleeping too long. His head turned back after he regained consciousness. The first person he saw was an old medic swinging a bottle under Ken's nose.
"Go away," said Ken Parau.
The doctor looked at him, he closed the bottle and put it in a small bag. Ken might be able to wake up the next two days if he's not smelled adafer. The injection still confused him, occasionally closing his eyes tightly when the doctor did not see him, so that his vision was clearer. Ken could not move from the chair he was sitting on. Ken could only stretch his fingers, that was all he could do. His arms were stretched out behind his back, Ken was completely sealed. The medic turned to the door, and Ken looked around for a few seconds in order to adjust the place he would use later.
Ken had already expected him to be in the place of another gang, Ash Death. But from the surroundings that were seen, this was definitely not a cheap item. The sculpture art of the stone delf, the panels carved with pigeons, and the most tempting Ken is the jewel of the heart laffiti. Everything is expensive and Ken assumes, he's not at Krisbow for now. In front of him was a rectangular table, and on each side of the shortest were two people who were looking at him. From what Ken saw, he's probably the boss of this town, Gordlock. But if this is his house, why is there a police officer at his door.
Gawat, Ken thought, am I going to be arrested? If true, it might be able to surprise this merchant. Thanks to Krista, Ken was able to know various information about high officials and judges of Gordlock. He'll be out before the sun shines on this whole place. The man looked old, wearing glasses for one eye. The man got up from his chair and moved towards Ken. His hands were raised as if he were calm
"Mister Lunark, wake up." The person will not bow his head to the ******** Krisbow.
"Etz Djel," Ken did not raise his chin, but his eyes glanced upwards.
The man nodded. His right hand raised to the side as if asking for something, one of the people near the wall ran up to his chest and gave him a bundle of paper. "At least you don't suck too much, Mister Lunark." The paper changed positions to his left hand, and his right hand signaled that they were emptying the area, except for the two policemen. Ken glanced at the ruby necklace that was on Etz Djel's chest. I'll take your heart and the ruby that's on your side, I'll take your fancy so you can feel your death creeping slowly. "Do you know me?" Ask Etz Djel.
Ken could already guess from the various symbols of this room, it was obvious that he was the master of Gordlock. "of course. You're the one who wants to sweep Krisbow clean."
Etz Djel nodded. "Krisbow is a place of ethical, cruel, and violent people."
Ken laughed hoarsely at some kind of dried leaf swiping. "Don't ask me about Etz Djel's violence," Ken glanced at him, "you think how many chariots did you send to Helalind? Forty horse carriages holding coffee and tea were lost on the way due to being robbed, and the bodies were found without offal as they were sold to worshippers. Don't bother lecturing on what violence is."
"I don't want to argue about violence with a kid who lives in Krisbow."
Ken didn't want that either, he just stalled for time while checking how tight the chain was. What was wrong was that Etz Djel did not examine his entire body.
Ken still doesn't know who he actually met in the alley. A ghost that appeared from in the shadows like Keiko. Ken started to rebuke himself. Base******, it's not Keiko. Focus.
Etz Djel began to open a roll of paper he held "I want to bargain with you Mister Lunark," he began to read. "Ken Lunrak, being a gambling table bookie and voting game of fate that you set yourself. You're the youngest man ever to run a gambling business and be in charge of a fox club. You're a blackmailer--"
"I'm a businessman."
"Fraud---"
"To make dreams come true."
"A killer and unforgiving---"
"I have a purpose."
"What purpose?"
"Just like you, Juragan's lucky." Ken smiled.
Before Etz Djel started, Ken had already stepped out of his chair and snatched the paper in his name. Ken was behind the body of the draughtsman and attached a knife to his neck. Kardolla police started pointing guns at them.
"I don't know who you really are, but don't try to drag me forcibly in my own territory and don't bargain with me while I'm in chains."
Etz Djel sighed. "Agia," he called. Then it happened again, a woman who pierced through the wall. He was wearing a white suit with roses in his pocket. His face was as pale as a corpse.
I've been drugged, Ken's trying not to panic, right, I've been drugged.
"What the fuck?" Furious Ken.
"Take me off and I'll explain."
"Tell me where you are."
Etz Djel exhaled again. "What you see is the Arta Mortem effect."
"So you're drugging me."
"It's not Mister Lunark, it's Agia."
Ken immediately looked at the woman carefully. No, not similar. Ken saw beside him that there was an open window, he was going to use it for escape.
"What mistake did you make today, Mister Lunark? You've handed Erikson over to Royalemerald" Etz Djel said.
"You think I care?" Ken continued while looking at the surroundings again.
"Listen to me first, Mister Lunark. I want you to hand it to me."
"I refuse, after all, who wants to go in there if there's no way out?" Ken admitted that.
"We'll hire you" continued Etz Djel.
Ken will use this moment to escape from this place. "First the gun."
Etz Djel told his bodyguards to give Ken's gun back. Quickly snatched the gun in front of Etz Djel and exchanged his knife with a pistol. "Both my gloves." Ken leads the Scout to an open window, so Ken can escape whenever he needs to. The return of the gun was very important, but the gloves made a sense of relief that Ken did not need to discuss. The scribe is released and pushed forward to keep his distance. Meanwhile, Etz Djel tidied up his black suit.
"Continue, Ezt Djel." Said Ken.
"Twenty million cairo, give Erikson to me."
"It's cheap once, anyways life's a bet I'm gonna get out of here," Ken checked again around the room.
"That's not cheap Mister Lunark," growled Etz Djel.
"Fifty million cairo, I'll take Erikson to you."
"Does anyone see my pocket watch? Maybe I dropped it when you pulled me here." Ken checked each other's pockets.
"Don't mess with me, Mister Lunark. Fine, fifty million," Etz Djel's gaze was serious.
Ken's corners lifted slightly, he began to have no doubt. Ken put his gun behind his back and grazed his hands back with tight leather gloves.
"What do you want with Erikson?"
"Arta mortem. The effects of the drug could be addictive and severe damage and, I had to give the drug again to Agia. To make the date disappear."
Ken's not sure about that, but he doesn't care. "Why did you entrust this to Etz Djel?"
"How old are you, Mister Lunark?"
"Seventeen."
"When you were twelve, you were never in prison until now. You're the man I've needed all this time, arguably never caught. Very well suited to this task and very talented." Etz Djel smiled slightly. "What's more Leonard."
Ken just ignored it. "What do you mean?"
"The original painting of Leonard missing from my first home. I'm pretty sure it was Krisbow, and the one who's really crazy for daring to break into my house as a thief is more or less you."
"That painting is so good, huh?"
"Expensive" continued Etz Djel.
Ken retreated a few inches from his spot. "Alright, Sixty million cairo."
"We agreed on fifty million cairo" Etz Djel said.
"I don't hear you're desperate" said Ken. "Don't you lie to me Etz."
"You're a fucking kid, '" he said.
"Deal agreed."
"Deal agreed."
Ken immediately jumped out of the window and disappeared from the spot.

The arrival of Ken to Easd seemed to divide in the narrow alleys. Because every thug, thief, con, and croupier becomes a little more cautious. Lin's favorite student has returned home. Ken walks by Krista, his face like a cat in need of the truth. They entered the last passageway and in front of him was his nest.
"You why?" Ask Krista. Ken ignored it again.
They climbed the stairs attached in front of his house. Ken's room was on Krista's roof, so she had to go into Krista's room and climb the stairs through the girl's room. While Tera place does not have to bother to climb the stairs or pass by anyone. But he envies the Ken area because it is laid out so that it is good to see the view from above.
Ken climbed the stairs and sat in his chair. He thought today would be exhausting, it turned out to be very tiring. Ken looked up into space every time, but only for a moment because of the cloudy weather. Krista catches up with Ken while bringing him bitter tea, the fox's favorite drink.
"You why?" Resell ask.
"I'm in big business and I have a job for you tomorrow." Ken said, flipping through each of his little books. "We've got seven million cairo. What do you think?"
"You could say it's a curse rather than a blessing."
"The idealist basis of the Saints. You just want to live a normal and happy life, don't you?" Ken's way of talking is mocking him.
"And glorify Him Ken."
Ken laughed out loud. He walked around his desk, stopped in front of Krista and sat down at the table. "If sixty million cairo. What do you think?" Ken received the tea. Krista's eyebrows spontaneously lifted but still on a mediocre face.
Krista sighed. "You're not going to do Ken's business, what kind of job?"
"It can be said to be very risky, dangerous, and only a small possibility we can brush it. But if we can brush it--" Ken looks dumb.
"If we brush it?" Krista Fishing.
Ken suddenly grinned at Krista. His smile came suddenly and was as startling as a bolt of thunder. "We will be King and Queen, Krista."
Krista looked confused but she tried to act indifferent. "Hm."
Ken hands over two expensive jewels to Krista, a ruby necklace and a laffiti heart. "Sell this to the butcher and I want Reyn to be at the fox club tomorrow. One more thing, buy me a new pocket watch, please."
"Whose is this?"
Ken was just silent. "The one who ambushed me."
"Ken."
"It won't happen again" Ken promised.
No one can surpass Ken. This young man was the toughest and most sinister in every alley of Krisbow. Meanwhile Krista came down the stairs. "Dear Krista, don't forget to buy me a new pocket watch. Be careful on the road."
Krista glanced at him, Ken's face meaningful. "It's so happy?" then Krista immediately came down from her place smoothly like butter on a frying pan.
