STAR ANESKA

“Happy birthday dear Papa child!” I said congratulate and bring a small cake on which there is a candle bearing the number nine.

“Pa Thanks!” he said with a happy face.

His name is Star Aneska. She's my only daughter. Beautiful as Hanna, her mother. He was in a coma due to an accident a few weeks ago.

Right now I feel like I'm a Single Parent for my daughter. She was born on a beautiful date of November 11, 2011.

Aneska started to blow out the candles and cut the chocolate cake I gave her.

“This is for Papa!” Aneska gave me a piece of cake.

“Still, Darling!” I said after eating the little piece of cake he gave me.

Aneska smiling.

“Thank you for the gift, Pa? Aneska likes it, the cake is beautiful. Delicious again!” he said with a face that immediately turned sad.

“Why you?” My hand rubbed Aneska's cheek.

“No papa, Pa! Aneska only remembered Mama. When will you wake up from your sleep, Pa?” the question that makes my heart like sliced sembilu.

I smiled and left her in a pink room, in accordance with her mother's favorite color.

I went in the room. This chest tightens after my little daughter asks when will her mother wake up? Aneska did not understand that her mother was risking her life between life and death, she was in a coma.

I opened the window of the room and took a breath and slid down slowly.

Huufff!

Han, if you knew. Today our daughter is nine years old. Don't you miss him? For almost a month you have been asleep in the hospital with the help of oxygen hoses and tiny hoses attached to your body.

Not long after, the door of the room knocked.

“Log in!” answer me from the room.

Chequek!

The door was pushed in and the beautiful face of my little daughter was seen.

Her small footsteps now led to me standing in front of the window. With her sad eyes, she looked at me.

“Papa sad, yes?”

“Sad? Why be sad on the birthday of her beautiful daughter Papa?” my answer is to hide the tightness that is in the chest.

“Maafin Aneska Yes, Pa?” he said while hugging my waist.

I carried him and sat him on the edge of the bed.

“Nothing sad. In fact, Papa is getting proud of Aneska. Because, in addition to a beautiful face, your heart is also beautiful, dear!” I kissed my daughter's head.

“Tonight Aneska wants to bob together Papa!” her door.

“Alright!”

I lifted the little body up onto the bed and hugged it tightly. Not to forget, I read her favorite fairy tale book. What if it wasn't Sleeping Beauty?

“Pa, you know why Aneska likes Sleeping Beauty?”

“Entah! Why?” I asked while frowning.

“Aneska wants, Papa is like a Prince who kisses Mama who always falls asleep in the hospital.”

“It was ‘kan just a fairy tale, Honey,” I said while tucking Aneska's long hair in her ear.

“But Aneska hope it's real!”

“Already, let's sleep!” I laid Aneska's little body and covered her. “Good night, Baby! Muchhh!” I kissed the tip of my daughter's head and hugged her warmly in the arms.

This morning I took Aneska to school. I happen to be taking a work leave. So after I take Aneska to school. I rushed straight to the hospital to accompany Hanna.

Chequek!

I opened the door of the ICU room with a special dress from the hospital.

I sat down next to Hanna who was still sleeping. Her face looked deathly pale but did not block the aura of beauty on her face. I held onto Hanna's fingers.

“Han? Awake, Honey. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Don't you miss me? Our daughter's getting smarter. The time I was told to kiss you to wake up?” I whispered in Hanna's ear.

I poured out all my grievances on him. Moreover, the yearning that was stirring from his daughter.

I've been chatting with Hanna for quite some time now who doesn't respond to anything. His eyes kept tightening throughout my story.

“I'm home huh, Han? When can you get together again with us?” my whisper is still holding his hand.

I don't know what's on my mind right now. Suddenly I kissed Hanna's lips gently, may I miss? I don't know.

“Hanna?”

Hanna's hand moved.

The movement of his hands began to respond even though his eyes were still closed. I ran to find a doctor or nurse to check on my wife's current condition.

The doctor came in and checked on Hanna.

This is good news for Aneska. He must be happy to hear this news.

I saw Aneska walking unsteadily in the schoolyard towards the gate with tapered lips.

“Why are you, honey?”

“Anneska pissed, Pa! He said Aneska would not get good grades, because no Mama figure could educate!” aneska chuckles with a sea of emotions.

“And there is Papa,” my answer is weakening.

“But Aneska wants to be like other friends. Aneska wants this year Mama can be present when taking report card!” Those tears were on her cheeks.

“If Mama can grab Aneska's report card later. What gift would you like for Mama?”

“Aneska will give you the best value for Mama!”

I finally told her about the state of her mother who had come to her senses from her sleep. Aneska's facial expression now changed, cheerful for a moment.

Hanna's situation is improving. I also saw Aneska who continued to study. Maybe he's trying to prove his promise to Hanna.

“Udah night, Honey! Sleep, yuk?” take me to Aneska who's still learning.

Time has shown ten o'clock at night. For a child his age, it was already very late at night.

I carried her and laid Aneska's body on a bed with a doll. Not to forget, I enveloped his body and kissed the tip of his head.

“Nice dream, Baby!”

I saw Aneska's passion for learning. He doesn't even have time to play with his friends. Maybe because he wanted to give the best value to Hanna as a gift for the healing of his mother.

“Aneska, play with friends. Your mama didn't force you to keep learning either,” I said.

“Now, Pa. Aneska wants to give good values to Mama. Aneska wants to be a class star,” he said stirred. He continues to learn.

Hanna has come back home and is hanging out with us. Aneska has finished her semester exams. Tomorrow we will know the efforts of my daughter, Aneska.

.

Aneska got up and took a shower early in the morning. He was neat in his red and white uniform.

“Excite Mama,” said Hanna when we had breakfast in the dining room.

“Yes, dong! Aneska will present the best values to Mama!” aneska said with a smile.

Crossing by silver car to Aneska school. There are many parents who have filled the classroom of their children. Including us, who were in Aneska's class to accompany her.

“Wait a minute, Han. I'm going to the toilet first,” say goodbye to my wife.

“Yes, but don't take long. Short of sharing our daughter's report card,” replied Hanna.

“Iya!”

I walked to the toilet, I was going to pee. After that I intend to go back to Aneska's class. However, something was blocking me when I came out of the toilet door.

“Om Naveen? Aneska's dad, huh?” ask a boy of Aneska's age.

“Iya, who are you?” I asked the boy who had a good-looking face.

“Om don't need to know who I am. But I want to tell Om Naveen about cheating Aneska's friends on him,” he replied that made a thousand questions for me.

“Means?”

I scrunched my forehead.

The boy told me that Aneska's test results had been replaced by friends who didn't like my daughter's intelligence. The boy was unable to report the incident to the school because he had no evidence. He was just a witness.

“Trust, Om! I'm telling the truth. Aneska is a very smart student. I hope, if the value of Aneska this year is bad. Om won't scold him because this is not the result of value from Aneska,” he assured me.

“How can Om believe this is not an Aneska value?”

“Om request a question sheet from the school. Later Om tell Aneska the contents at home, he must remember all the answers.”

I finally went back to Aneska's class. I saw Aneska crying in Hanna's arms. To my amazement, Hanna was not angry at all even though Aneska said her test scores were all red.

“Aneska, even if you are not a class star this year, but you are always a star in the hearts of Papa and Mama.”

Aneska looked at me softly.

“You know, what does your name mean?”

Aneska.

“Aneska Stars. Which means a pure and clean light. You are a ray to our family!” Hanna and I hugged Aneska warmly.

Because Papa knows, son. You are a victim of friends who don't like you. You have a clean and pure heart according to your name and will always shine like a star.
