The awkward atmosphere was so obvious in that VIP room. Although many words that want to be spoken from the lips of Vienna.
"Win," Citra tries to melt the atmosphere that feels very stiff.
Al holds the fingers of Citra. Vienna can see it clearly. His chest felt increasingly claustrophobic seeing that.
His mind began to guess what would happen next. He began to bite his lips to hold back the crying that would come out of his lips. His eyes flushed red withstanding the emotions that were about to explode at this moment.
"Vienna, this is the answer to your question." al raised his fingers that were tied to Citra's fingers.
Vienna patted his chest that felt very heavy. So me, my honey best friend? God, why did you give me a try like this? Why does it hurt so much? So hurt.
Vienna could no longer hold back the pace of her tears. Really, he never expected to be the third person in his best friend's marriage.
"Why?" ask Vienna with a trembling tone.
He rubbed his tears rough. Vienna tried hard and was ready to hear the reason of the two people who were important in her heart.
Citra and Al fell silent. They don't know what to say as an excuse. Al and Citra lowered their gaze.
"Is this a child problem?"
The image bit his lips hard. He held back the cry that would come out of his lips. Al lowered his head.
"Have you ever been pregnant?" ask Vienna on Citra.
"My daughter died a few months before, Mas Al married you" he said.
Vienna regretted the question that escaped her lips earlier. Indeed, he did not know about the death of his best friend's daughter. Vienna wanted to say sorry, but her ego refrained from saying the word.
"Why didn't you say it before? Do I have to ask you guys first and say it?" said frustration.
"Can you imagine the pain in my heart, Cit?" The image lowered his gaze.
The sobs of Citra were getting heard. So too with Vienna. Al shed his tears. He knew he was involved in this problem.
"Vienna, please don't blame the image" Al asked. His voice sounded vibrating.
"So, who should I blame?" tanyanya.
"Ah, I was wrong. Aren't we?" Vienna chuckled while wiping away her tears.
Vienna stood up. He could no longer be in the same room as Citra and Al. The image also stood and held the arm of Vienna.
"Win, please. Stay a wife, Mas Al," Citra said.
Vienna fell silent, inwardly she cursed herself. Vienna cannot think well. She felt betrayed by her husband and her best friend.
"Vienna, I'll try to be fair to you" Al persuaded Vienna.
"I'm willing to share the love. As long as you are the one. Please, stay by the side, Mas Al."
"Citra—" says Al.
"Win, you know, I just believe in you. You're a sincere and kind person. So, please stay together, Mas Al. I'm no longer perfect. I can no longer give her a child." Citra's cries grew louder and heartbreaking.
Citra admitted its shortcomings to Vienna. He did not hesitate to disarm his pride, in order to make Vienna remain part of his small family. At least, Vienna would not look down on him. If that woman wasn't Vienna, I don't know what would have happened to Citra.
Vienna understands how the image feels. Once again, his ego rejects whatever reason Citra and Al give him. Honestly, his heart throbbed when he heard Citra's words.
Not wanting to last longer, which would result in the collapse of his ego, Vienna withdrew his hand held tightly by Citra. Without looking back again, Vienna immediately left the place.
Al has wide feet. His heart was tormented at the suffering of Citra. He pulled the arm of Vienna, until Vienna turned to him.
"Can't you have a little sympathy for Citra? He had even thrown away his pride just to beg for your mercy. Is this what you are? Is this what you are proud of? Really, I don't know what to call you. You, the woman who has no heart. If you want to go, go. I won't let anyone hurt Citra again. Including you." Al immediately returned to the Citra room.
Vienna could no longer hold back its tears. He immediately ran out of the restaurant. His heart is getting sick. What Al said is true. He begins to blame himself for not being able to sympathize with his best friend.
It seemed, God was kind to her by sending down such a heavy rain. Vienna allowed the rainwater to wash over him. Vienna hopes the rain can carry a little weight on its shoulders.
Is it his fault that he survives his ego? What about those who feel betrayed and lied to? Doesn't matter how she feels?
If only they had told her all in the first place. Maybe he won't be hurt like he is now. Had Al and Vienna considered what was to come, their relationship would not have been this complicated.
Rice has become a porridge. There was nothing else he could change. Everything that happens, has become a destiny. But can he be selfish this time? Vienna needs time. He has to think about everything.
Vienna does not want to make a wrong decision. There is a feeling of image at stake. There are also feelings he needs to consider. And so, Al's feelings that he must take care of.
Whether Al really loved him or not, Vienna had to think about it.
*****
The night was getting late, Vienna had not yet returned to the house he occupied with Al. Imagery goes there. He wanted to explain everything to Vienna.
Vienna is in a different place in the cold. His body, wet from the rain, now dries up again by itself. His lips began to turn blue. His body even shivered violently.
His legs were no longer able to support his weight. His eyes slowly began to blur. His ears began to hear. His consciousness slowly began to disappear.
A man who saw Vienna approached him. He tried to make Vienna aware. Unfortunately, Vienna closed its eyes. Quickly, the man carried Vienna's body into his car. He took off his suit and covered Vienna's body.
Immediately, the man drove his car at high speed. Within half an hour, the car arrived at the hospital. The man stopped his car right in front of the IGD room.
"Bring the gurney over here quick!" he said to security guards in front of the IGD room. Quickly, the security guard immediately searched for an empty gurney and brought it to the man.
"It's doc."
The man immediately put Vienna's body on top of the gurney. Then, he pushed her.
"Suster, quickly bring the patient's clothes and get inside."
The nurse obeyed the orders of her superior and brought the patient's clothes and replaced them.
