45. Love Statement
Arfian took a round trip that took about 2 hours to get to the inn.
They arrived at the inn at sunset.
“Kei, we'll see the sunset first.” Bring Arfian.
“Hmmm..
Arfian and Keisha walked along the coast hand in hand.
After walking a few hundred meters, they sat by the beach while enjoying the beautiful sunset.
“That's great.” Keisha said as he laid his body on the sand.
“Hmm...”.
The two people were engrossed in looking at the sunset while living their own feelings and thoughts.
“I love you, Kei.” Arfian lirih.
“What, Brother?” Keisha turned his face towards the Arfian
Arfian was silent, not answering Keisha's question. Not getting an answer from the Arfian, Keisha looked back at the sun that was getting drowned.
The atmosphere looked silent, only the sound of waves hitting the beach.
“Kei, we return to the inn yuk.” Arfian stood up and extended his hand to Keisha intending to help her stand up.
Keisha who was still lying grabbed Arfian's hand which helped him to wake up.
They walked back towards the inn hand in hand.
Arriving at the inn, Keisha immediately entered the bathroom to clean up and change clothes. Same with Arfian.
After finishing dinner, Keisha laid herself down on the sofa in the living room.
“Kei, we take a walk on the beach yuk.” Bring Arfian.
“Gak ah, lazy. On the beach. Scared ah.” Answer Keisha.
“There's something Brother Fian wants to talk to you about. We chat while sitting on the beach.” Arfian brought Keisha back.
“Come on.” Keisha woke up from the fall.
Arfian carried two torches as illumination.
“We sit here, Kei.”
Arfian and Keisha sat barefoot on the sand.
Arfian's heart was pounding violently. Right now, he was feeling very nervous. This is the time to express the feelings he has harbored for 10 years.

“Sister love you.” Finally Arfian managed to say the sentence.

The atmosphere became silent, only the sound of waves.

Keisha did not return Arfian's embrace. Arfian tightened his embrace.

Arfian tightened his arms even more as if Keisha would disappear from his presence if he loosened his arms.
“Detach, Brother.” Keisha tries to free himself from Arfian embrace.
“I'm scared, Brother. I'm too afraid to love you again.” Said Keisha while wiping her tears that had started to pool with the back of her hand.
“Why?” ask Arfian lirih.
Keisha sighed.
“10 years, I ran away from Big Brother. 10 years, I tried to organize my heart. 10 years, I tried to forget my love for Big Brother. 10 years is not a short time. I spent my youth and energy erasing that taste and trying to find someone else to give my heart to.” Keisha said as he looked straight ahead.
“Have you met?” ask Arfian.
“Huh?...”
“People you will give your heart to. Your loved ones.”
“I'm still looking for him.” Keisha pulled and hugged her knees.
“Before you find the man, may Big Brother love you?”
“Huh?...”
“Seconds after you find the man you love, Brother will give up and will try to stop loving you even though Brother believes it is difficult. But don't worry, Brother won't hinder you from getting a new love with the man you love later.” Arfian said as he looked at Keisha's face.
Keisha was still unmoved, silent.
Arfian clasped Keisha's right hand. “Bby?...”
Keisha braced himself not to tear in front of Arfian.
“Excuse Brother if this expression of Big Brother's feelings becomes burdensome to you.” Arfian let go of his hand.
Feeling no response from Keisha, Arfian moved back to the inn.
“We're back to inn.” Arfian started walking away from Keisha.

Keisha ran and hugged Arfian's body from behind.
“I'm sorry, Brother. Give me time.” Keisha Pinta.
Arfian raised his head then pulled and exhaled violently.

Arfian released Keisha's embrace and then clasped Keisha's hand tightly. They walked back to the inn hand in hand.
Arriving at the inn, Arfian went straight into his room. Keisha looked at the steadfast back of Arfian who stepped away from before him.

Keisha POV
I looked at the ceiling of my room. I could not close my eyes even though my body and heart were tired.
I love you, Arfian. From my childhood until now, you were the only man I loved.
I'm just afraid to love you again. I'm afraid my heart will break again. 10 years, I'm trying to treat my heart that hurts. I'm a coward who doesn't dare try to give my heart to you again.
I'm upset why these tears can't stop dripping.
Do I have to tell you this, brother. To say that there is one most important thing that holds my heart so hard to accept you. That woman, your boyfriend at the time was pregnant with your son, the fruit of your love. Although your child was not born into this world, but I do not accept that you are related to that extent. I cannot accept a man whose body once belonged to another woman. Call me selfish for this reason, but I really can't take it.
I am a selfish woman who does not want to get a man who has had sex with other women. I want a husband who gives his ‘first’ thing just for me. I lost with impatience. Should I give up?
I waited 10 years for you Kei, but now your heart is no longer for me.
This regret really comes at the end. If I had realized my feelings for you earlier, maybe none of this would have happened. If I wasn't stupid, maybe you wouldn't have left me. But in this life there is no supposition because time cannot be replayed.
