29. Mistakes

“Go from here, Ryan. I don't want him to see you here.” Shouts Early at the man.

Arfian stood up to hear what Early was shouting. His mind worked hard trying to understand the situation that was happening.

Early again screaming hysterically while crying. “Go from here.”

“You don't scream like this, honey. Remember your condition is still sick. I don't want to see you suffer like this.” Said Ryan.

“Go ahead, Ryan. I promise that after I leave the hospital, I'll meet you to talk about this and our next relationship. But I beg you, you must leave right now. I don't want him to see you here. He'll come see me this afternoon.” Early plead.

“Darling, I want us to tell him the truth. I don't want to keep doing this in secret. I'll talk to him.” Ryan said with confidence.

“No. You can't meet him. If you meet him now, I will die in front of you.” Shouts Early.

“Honey, we've lost our baby. I don't want to lose you either. I beg you to tell the truth to the man. I promise to be responsible to you” Ryan again pleads with Early.

Hearing the debate between Early and Ryan made the Arfian's heart beat very fast. He did not expect that Early would be willing to betray him. The Arfian's head was again filled with Keisha's face which continued to twinkle. The memory of Keisha giving evidence of Early's infidelity came back to his mind.  He recalled how Keisha had sworn him that he would regret not believing the evidence Keisha had shown at the time. His hands clenched beside his body, Arfian tried his hardest to hold back his emotions.

“You can't keep lying. The baby is my baby, I can't accept that you said that the father of the baby was him.” Reveal Ryan.

“Shut up, Ryan!” scream Early.

“I also know that you trapped the man when he was at Peak.” Ryan is disappointed with Early's attitude of not wanting to admit that the baby Early once conceived was her baby.

“You don't make up. You don't know anything about me and my baby.” Early again screaming hysterically.

“Your friend told me that you made the man drunk and took him to the hotel room. You are making the situation as if you have done husband and wife relations.” Reveal Ryan.

“It's a lie. You don't know anything, Ryan.” Early start sobbing.

“That's the truth. I don't want you to lie to yourself. I love you, Early. You have to believe that I can make you happy.” Ryan hugged Early.

“No...no...no.. I have tried very hard to be with Arfian. Together with Arfian, I don't have to work the bone anymore.” Issue Early.

“You know, Ryan. Since childhood, I have been an orphan. Since I was a child, I had to work very hard to survive. I was so tired of the life I had to live. Together with Arfian, I can be free from suffering.” Early Reveal.

“You're wrong, Early. You're wrong.” Said Ryan.

“I'll soon get my dream. Just one more step, I will be the wife of an Arfian. But why did you have to come and ruin my dream. Why did that night happen. For a year I was in a relationship with Arfian but never once did we do that. But why, that one night, you took it. And why the next nights.....” Early on covering his face with his hands, his shoulders shook.

Early thrashing trying to release himself from Ryan's embrace.

“I was so stupid, lulled by your persuasion. Only one month I've known you and I've given you my honor. You are indeed a sec, Ryan.” Early tears.

“I've loved you since the first time I saw you. We do it because I love you and you love me. I will never regret the wonderful nights we have spent with” Ryan admitted to Early that he had fallen in love with Early since the first time they met in the office where Early worked.

Arfian held his breath as he heard Ryan's confession about the nights Early and the man had passed. His brain was working hard trying to digest all of these things. Arfian's feelings were starting to feel strange. He could not identify what he was feeling right now, whether he was feeling angry, sad, disappointed, relieved, or ordinary.

Ryan is a courier who often delivers goods to Rayhan's company. Coincidentally the day when Ryan delivered the goods, Early took care of the reception of the goods. After that, Ryan sent the goods to Rayhan's company several times and he often met with Early. From the first time Ryan met Early, he had already fallen in love with Early. Early's beauty had managed to impress her so Ryan ventured to get close to Early.

Ryan was aware of his position lower than Early who was a company leader secretary. Ryan is just a college student who has to fight hard to finance his own college by working as a courier. But her strong determination did not dampen her steps to make Early her lover.

With the persuasion, seduction, and attention that Ryan gave to Early, plus his handsome face like a model, Ryan finally managed to subdue Early's heart. And that night, when it happened was a happy night for Ryan. They did that forbidden thing not once but several times until they were completely swept away in their own passion. That night makes Ryan sure that Early loves him too.

That night, Early enjoyed it too. Doing something he had never done together with Arfian made himself like flying into the seventh sky. That night, Early senses that she is truly loved by a man. He gets his satisfaction from a man named Ryan. The passion of the night was like blinding them so that they did not realize that what they were doing was a sin.

The nights that followed, the nights that Early was not with Arfian were the ones that washed away for Early and Ryan. The satisfaction that Ryan always gives makes Early forget the land until when he realizes that he has contained the seeds that have been planted by Ryan.

When she realized she was pregnant, she panicked. She doesn't want her relationship with Arfian to be damaged by her unwanted pregnancy. Early racked his brain looking for a way to create a state as if Arfian had planted the seed in Early's womb. Early knew that his actions with Ryan were a big sin and he did not want to increase his sin by aborting his fetus.

An idea was sparked when Early learned that Arfian would meet with his clients at a hotel in the Puncak area. Early makes plans as if she met Arfian accidentally at the hotel. Early plans went smoothly. He managed to get Arfian drunk and unconscious. He was helped by a friend who took Arfian to a room in the hotel and created a state as if they had slept together.
