Time rolled, dusk now changed night. The time indicator has shown at 20:00 local time. Kenan and Fara had just finished getting ready to go home.
Of course Kenan will return with Fara to Farzan's residence. Actually Kenan has an apartment that he always occupied every time he was in Indonesia, his homeland. Usually he also lived in an orphanage where he was foster and raised until he was 13 years old. It used to be a very simple orphanage that has changed a lot with now that it is like a palace.
Yeah, who else would've changed it if it wasn't Kenan. At the beginning of Kenan began to work, his salary was centered on renovating the orphanage. And the result is unmitigated, not only the orphanage building is renovated even the degrees of the people in it are also elevated. Every abandoned or orphaned child who lives there, his education is fully funded by Kenan until they get a college degree. The mother of the parlour whom Kenan had considered her own mother as well as the other caregivers, was given adequate facilities. Maybe if there is a worldwide terelit orphanage nomination, Al-rahman orphanage is the winner of the nomination. Yes, Al-rahman is the name of the orphanage where Kenan grew up.
Kenan and Fara are in the basement of the hospital. Fara walks in front with Kenan tailing behind her towards Fara's car.
Actually, Fara had wanted to ask, why Kenan always followed him? It's just that he puffed up, thinking it might just be his feelings. Maybe it just so happened that their car was on the same side of the parking lot. But, he went back to thinking, wasn't Kenan previously to the hospital by being escorted by a driver? But again, his intention to ask. Maybe Kenan told his men to drop off the car and park it in the basement.
They arrived in Fara's car. So Fara pressed the unlock button on the remote control in her car key, then opened the steering door and went inside. After Fara closed the door again, he was surprised by the existence of Kenan who turned out to enter his car and sit in the passenger seat behind the wheel who was casually sitting there. Sontak Fara turned back after gawking for a moment "Eh, sorry Prof, are you not mistaken to enter the car?"
Kenan's two eyebrows are tied to each other "Prof? You?" instead of answering Fara's main question, he was distracted by the words that still use formal language. Some time ago he thought, his wife was using formal language as a form of work professionalism. "Why do you still use formal language?"
"Eh?" Fara is confused by the change in the direction of the conversation "I mean?"
"Yes, isn't it not working hours now? Why do you still use formal language?"
Instead of being enlightened, Fara was even more confused in responding. Not confused because they do not understand the talk, but confused what to answer. He also speaks informal language with Kenan.
"Snakes?" reprimand Kenan after all the time has passed but Fara is silent.
Fara a little "Eh, ugh... Sorry, get carried away, because it's still in the hospital environment." he reasoned.
"Ohh..." Kenan mangosteen "Makanya, we should get used to using informal language when alone, including during working hours." he suggested.
"Can you?" great-grandson Fara hesitated.
"Of course, why not? We are husband and wife, it will even feel strange if we speak formal language, even in working hours." said Kenan said something that was quite disturbing since. At first, he tries to be casual and follows the flow as Fara starts to speak in informal language with him. But no matter how hard he tried, it still disturbed him. It felt uncomfortable, I don't know he couldn't describe the discomfort.
Fara slightly gasped to hear Kenan's words embedded in it. Apparently she had wrongly thought badly of her husband, whom she thought was treated as a foreign wife. It turns out it was just his feelings. He also realized that he was the one who started first. So, he should be blamed here. Why was he disappointed in Kenan? he thinks he feels guilty. "I'm sorry." That's all he can say as a form of regret.
"Hmm? Sorry for what?" ask Kenan confused.
"I'm sorry that I started speaking in formal language" Fara replied as she lowered her gaze, not daring to meet Kenan.
"Ohh... It's okay, I get it. You just want to be professional, right? It's ok, no problem. It's just that, from now on we should start behaving like a married couple in general, in public though. If you don't mind, of course." said Kenan full of authority.
'Aaaah, husband! Why are you so handsome? Wanted sackin.' Inner Fara screamed completely unnerved at Kenan. Actually, he was also embarrassed. Behave professionally? From the beginning he never intended to use informal language when talking to Kenan. He was just spontaneous at first, so nervous. And then because he had already wrongly thought about Kenan. But it is impossible to reveal that. It could damage the image of his handsome husband who just looks very authoritative and very cool, he said. Yeah, broken. Because with his cool Kenan uttered his miscalculation. Besides himself, he would be ashamed. Instead, Fara nodded with a contrived smile as sweet as possible while saying "Yes, sister, I will try. Please guide him!"
"Hm, we both learn." reply Kenan smile sweetly, natural of course, not KW, aka imitation like the smile Fara wore. "Yes, let's go." he continued.
Kenan's smile faded along changing his two eyebrows that intertwined "I mean?"
"Why did Ken get in my car? Ken's brother didn't get in the wrong car, right?" Fara clarified her question.
"Ohh... I am not wrong. You want to go home, right?"
"Yes." Yeah."
"Yes, it's true that I got into your car. I'm going home too. Isn't our goal the same?"
"You mean, Brother Ken wants to go home to me and dad?"
"Yes." Yeah."
"Ooh, that's it." Fara grumbled and understood.
"Hm, do you understand?"
"Yes Brother."
"Yes, let's go!"
"Good sister." Fara obediently obeyed. He turned back to the front and started the engine. But when he was about to step on the gas pedal, he seemed aware of something. His intention to run the car was also revoked. Like something's wrong? He thought brain-twisting.
"What's wrong? Why not walk yet?" kenan asked a little impatiently as well as interrupting Fara's thought cycle.
"Eh, I'm sorry, brother, I'm not intentionally daydreaming."
"But what? Already, his daydreaming will be continued at home, it is very dangerous if you daydream while driving. Poor Dad, it must be waiting for us at home."
Having not yet found the answer to her thought cycle, Fara decides to follow Kenan's instructions. Moreover, when Kenan said about Farzan who was waiting for them, it strengthened his instinct to obey Kenan's instructions. He continued his intention to run the car. Although the question of 'there is something wrong' still disturbs his thinking, as much as possible he brushes aside and focuses his concentration on the steering wheel.
On the way, Kenan and Fara just quietly enjoy the trip. As expected, the streets of the capital were always crowded. But the traffic flow is pretty smooth. They are only occasionally stuck in traffic when the traffic lights arrive red. It's not too long either.
Kenan was quite amazed by the disciplinary progress of Indonesia's current traffic flow. In the past, you have to go through a fight and even a muscle fight first to get through the traffic jam. More or less so Kenan's assessment of the discipline of the current capital's traffic flow. I don't know what about other cities.
Travelling in about 25 minutes, Kenan and Fara finally arrive at Farzan's residence. But the two did not get out of the car, they were both silent.
Another Kenan Fara. Kenan fell silent because he was used to being driven. So, he subconsciously waited for the new opened door to come out. As for Fara, she fell silent as she continued her daydream thinking about the question that had been plaguing her ever since.
