27. Meet Rika

"Kevin took Nadin for a walk, so you can get to know him more closely". Riana said with a hopeful smile.

"Ma I'm a lot of work". Kevin dodged.

"Yes, my mom knows not now. But you promised me, son". Riana demanded her son promise.

"iya ma". replied Kevin lethargic. If he promises he has to be honest. Kevin actually did not want to disappoint his mother. Still imagined in her memory Riana cried sadly for having to release Arleta to become her favorite daughter-in-law. But Riana's been dizzy lately. Kevin is eager to bring Arleta back to his mother. Make the hope of her mother come true. But how else would Arleta herself not want to go back to him.

"Then my mom comes home, son. Remember your promise". Riana walked out. Kevin smiled to take Riana away, only at Riana. He ignored the girl.

Arleta and Restandi's marriage has been arranged. Then the preparation is done. Once again Arleta and Revita are looking for the dress they need. Because it was lunch time they stopped at a cafe which according to Revita new and interesting menu. They occupy a comfortable and somewhat invisible seat. Suddenly Arleta saw a figure that was not unfamiliar to her. Dr Rika's. Alrika Novarina, sitting opposite a middle-aged woman. At first Arleta sees them talking well, but suddenly the woman gets angry and slaps Rika. Arleta and Revita were shocked. Some cafe visitors were also surprised by the action of the woman.

"Why?". Revita asked slowly. Arleta hinted Revita to be quiet by sticking her index finger on her lips. But they still could not hear the conversation of the two. Dr. Rika seemed to be struck by the woman's actions. But he quietly listened. Not long after that the woman stood up and left the cafe. Rika seemed to be crying silently.

"People are so sorry, they must be ashamed"., Revita said slowly.

"That's the general practitioner at Restandi hospital. Dr. Rika's name. He likes Restandi.

"What's?". Revita was surprised to see Arleta in disbelief. Arleta was silent for a moment. But then move on to approach Rika.

"Loh Let, mo what?". asked Revita astonished. But he just kept quiet and watched Arleta.

"Is there anything I can help you with?". asked Arleta gently. Rika fell silent. His sad feelings he wanted to express. But on Arleta? it feels impossible.

"Thank you you sitting here just made me feel comfortable. She doesn't feel alone with Arleta. With what he had experienced, there must be many who still pay attention to him.

"Ok if there's anything I can help you say. Or do you want to join me and my friend?". asked Arleta while pointing at Revita who is still faithfully waiting at their table.

"No need. I'm saying goodbye. Thanks for letting me out". Rika pampered while standing up. He smiled at Arleta before leaving the cafe. Arleta went back to her desk.

"Well, he must be in shock with the woman who was there.

"Who is? what's wrong until it is treated like that?". asked Revita curious. Arleta can only shake. Arleta did this just out of sympathy not out of wanting to know someone's problem. They also resumed their activities that day.

Kevin was forced to fulfill his promise to take Nadin out. Kevin had to bring Nadin to dinner. He had no other desire than to finish dinner and drive Nadin home. Nadin felt Kevin was too indifferent to him and was not interested in getting to know him any further. There was sadness in his heart but he liked Kevin so he took advantage of the opportunity he had.

"Why aren't you excited? Don't you like the menu?". asked Kevin suddenly to surprise Nadin. The girl ate while daydreaming in disappointment at Kevin who was so indifferent to her.

"No I like ko". replied Nadin as he immediately finished his meal. He saw Kevin was done eating. Seeing Nadin react with his reprimand Kevin turned his attention to his phone and was busy with the little thing. Nadin sighed in annoyance. Maybe his decision to comply with the wishes of his mother and Aunt Riana was wrong. Because Kevin had no interest in knowing her. Kevin glanced at Nadin who looked like he was done with his meal.

"All right, let's go home now. Sorry I got a lot of work". Kevin got up and made the payment. Nadin was fixated on what Kevin was doing. The girl felt Kevin treated her as his employee. But Nadin did not protest. He kept a feeling of disappointment in his heart. Kevin drove Nadin home.

"Thanks for tonight. I'm sorry I couldn't do more for you". Kevin said indifferently without guilt. The important thing is that he has kept his promise to Riana. Without waiting for Nadin to get into Kevin's car home soon passed. Nadin also held back his anger. He didn't expect Kevin to be so different when he wasn't in front of Aunt Riana. If there was someone who was exactly the same as Arleta maybe Kevin was just interested. Arriving at home looks Rangga in front of the house.

"Just come home bang, from where?". asked Rangga.

"Even out with the girl I don't like". Kevin replied annoyed.

"If you don't like why did you ask me out?". Rangga was astonished.

"That was my mom"., Kevin replied lazily. Rangga understood, his brother took the girl out because of Riana's insistence.

"Mama just doesn't want you to keep thinking about Leta". Rangga patted his brother's shoulder slowly.

"I can't forget Leta. It hurts to remember the stupidity I did". Kevin's face turned sad.

"Patience bang, maybe not a soul mate". said Rangga trying to entertain.

"I'm confused about Leta, we've been together for three years. He loved me so much that he got hurt like that because of me".
