111. The Past

"Therefore the woman was to follow wherever my father went. So we have a mother but it's like we don't have a mother." Avery smiled cynically.

"Is your relationship still bad?" Armando held up his empty plate to wash.

"It's better, he's already regretting his attitude. But his relationship with Melanie has not changed. I mean Melani who still can't take it." Avery took off his plate.

"How are you?" Armando sat on the sofa while staring at Avery who was cleaning the dining table.

"I'm normal, but I keep an eye on him." Avery said as he dried his eyes at Armando. The man smiled to see the girl.

"We don't know what's on his mind, and now I'm father's only heir." Avery kept up his words. He made some warm tea for her and Armando. Then take her and sit on the sofa with Armando.

"Then what about your blind date? Is there anything interesting?" Armando wants to know. The beautiful girl in front of him is charming. Avery laughing.

"Actually not all bad, some seem sincere. But still I'm not interested. I have closed my heart to men for a long time. Then I don't get into trouble like my sister." said Avery as he looked at Armando.

"You mean for being involved with me?" ask Armando to challenge.

"Not just you but Kevin and Gody Vin" Avery wanted to ask if Armando knew about Lordy's abduction of Melani. But Avery is afraid that Arleta will get carried away and be found to help Melani get home. Armando just laughed. He himself does not regret meeting Melani even though the story is uncomfortable because it concerns Arleta.

"Ar, if you know who that woman is?" ask Avery suddenly. Armando was silent for a moment. But Avery was waiting for his answer.

"She's the woman I've ever been in my life. Keira was my first love." Armando's answer surprised Avery.

"But you refused to talk to him. Usually first love is hard to ignore" said Avery increasingly curious.

"He's my lover, we've been in love for a long time. But suddenly he disappeared without any news. I don't like the way he left me. I felt my love was worthless in his heart so I was lazy to talk to him." Armando explained. Avery could understand Armando's feelings. Actually Avery was impressed with Armando, since the first time he met. But when Armando finds out his sister Avery's lover is throwing away his feelings. What's more he saw Armando loved Melani so much. Avery felt there was no hope. Armando was still staring at Avery, wanting to know what was on his mind. Armando felt strange, a girl as beautiful as Avery was untouched by men. What made the girl close her heart. But to know it is certainly not easy. Avery did not want the secret of his heart to be known. Because it was night they decided to go to sleep. Tomorrow, as usual, Avery makes breakfast for them. Armando has made a playground for his daughter. So Melody is free to play without fear of being bumped.

"A director has to bother taking care of the baby and cooking." Armando teased Avery. They're having breakfast.

"Yes you must judge." Avery replied as he watched Melody.

"I'll be home soon today. We can have dinner outside. Or maybe you're going somewhere." Armando said seriously.

"He was taken away all day yesterday. Today let him rest at home." Armando watched his daughter. Armando was leaving soon. Avery sat on the sofa while looking at Melody who was busy with her toys. Yesterday they did a lot of shopping for Melody. Suddenly the doorbell rang, Avery opened the door. It turned out that the woman who yesterday greeted Armando.

"Hi me Keira, can I come in?"asked Keira with a smile. Avery did not like to see her but he had no reason to reject the woman.

"Alright, please come in" Avery said without a smile. Keira came in and sat down. Avery sat down before Keira, he saw Keira visibly observing Armando's apartment. Like looking for something. His gaze was fixed on Melody who was cool at playing.

"What needs are you coming?" avery asked impatiently. He can't pretend to be nice to people he doesn't like. I don't know why Avery felt he didn't like Keira.

"I'm sorry to bother you, my name is Keira, I'm Armando's girlfriend. But I left and just came back not too long ago. Is that Armando's daughter?" keira pointed at Melody.

"That's our daughter. I don't understand what you mean. You've been separated a long time from Armando. Then what's your goal?" ask Avery ketus. Hearing if Melody's daughter Armando and Avery Keira instantly pale.

"I really want to know if Armando is married. I'm not sure what people are saying." Keira said bluntly. Avery doesn't like it much. His blood goes up to his head.

"Armando is married and has a daughter. You can see Armando loves his daughter very much. You have no right to enter Armando's life anymore." Avery spoke with a face full of hostility. Keira sees Avery like a jealous wife.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you angry." Keira comes just to make sure Armando is married.

"If you still love Armando, why did you leave?" ask Avery to know. It was impossible for Keira to only ask about Armando without having any particular intent.

"Something's got me to go." Keira did not want to tell me why. There's a lot Keira's hiding. Without him knowing Avery was also hiding some facts. For example Armando who is not tied to anyone. Then the fact that she's not Melody's real mother.

"So you're Armando's wife?" ask Keira curiously.

"I am Armando's wife." answered Avery. He didn't want Armando to get involved again with such a woman. Avery saw that Keira was not a sincere woman.

"I don't think we need to talk more. I have to take care of my daughter. Don't come back here and don't call Armando anymore." It's free to talk to Keira if she doesn't want to be honest, Avery thought.

"All right, I'm going. I'm sorry I took your time." Keira got up and left. Avery meets Keira. A woman who is not ashamed. Avery tried to ease her anger by watching Melody. Keira actually wants to meet Armando. But he had to be sure first if Armando was really married. So he came to Armando's apartment to meet his wife first. And Keira's guess is precise, Armando lives in his apartment. Now Keira's headed to Armando's office. He will meet the man he still loves. Armando was busy at work, when Arsen said there was Keira coming .
