23. Kevin Again

In contrast to Kevin who heard Arleta was getting married into a panic. Her heart did not want Arleta to be someone else's wife. Kevin then thought about how he could meet Arleta again. That day in the office Kevin could not concentrate on his work. His thoughts continued on Arleta. Kevin finally decides to meet Arleta. He came to the clinic, at that time not as crowded as usual. Arleta's room above Kevin has been memorized. Because she used to love coming to Arleta at the clinic. With Kevin's entry Arleta is suddenly shocked. He was afraid to meet Kevin. From Arleta's gaze Kevin knew how the girl felt about him.

"Relax Leta, I'm not gonna do anything bad to you". Kevin calms down but his hand locks Arleta's study. Kevin doesn't want anyone to bother them. Kevin sat down in front of Arleta. The girl was tensely waiting for what Kevin was going to do.

"I'm just gonna ask you. Is there really no hope for me to come back to you?". asked Kevin sadly. Arleta sighed.

"Sorry, I used to love you Vin. But now my heart has changed. I don't want to be with you anymore". Arleta answered honestly. It was a tough thing for Kevin.

"Are you getting married soon?". Kevin hopes that what he hears is wrong.

"Yes. Restandi wants our marriage to speed up". Arleta's answer subverted Kevin's expectations.

"Leta, if I don't deserve to be by your side, can I hope to be your friend? don't be afraid of me anymore. I just love you so much that I make you sad. Can you?". Kevin's gaze was full of sincerity. Arleta is relieved now. If Kevin can accept this all he doesn't have to worry anymore.

"You mean it?". Arleta asked for certainty. Kevin nodded then clasped Arleta's hand.

"I'm letting you go. How hard I try to be with you but if you're not happy with me for what?". Arleta felt her heart airy now.

"We're friends now Kevin. I hope you can find a better partner than me, Vin". Arleta comforts Kevin. No one is better than Arleta, Kevin thought. And I lost you.

"May I hold you one last time?". asked Kevin hoping. Arleta was glued for a moment. But he thought there was nothing wrong with meeting Kevin's expectations. Because now they are friends. Arleta walked over to Kevin. The opportunity was not wasted Kevin then hugged Arleta tightly.

"Don't hesitate to call me if there's anything I can do for you". Kevin released Arleta with a heavy heart, because this was the last time he could hug Arleta. Arleta's own heart was at peace. He could start a new relationship with Kevin.

"I can't forget you straight away Leta. But I'm going to turn my love and love towards you as my sister". Kevin lied to Arleta. He just wanted Arleta not to avoid him and feel comfortable. "Sorry to trouble you guys back to work. But since I feel bad about you guys tonight I'm buying you a meal". Arleta offers to appreciate the hassles of Revita and Arlan.

"We should buy you dinner because you helped us at the engagement.
