My heart is still beating so fast. Gerry calmed me down by holding my hand tight. Take a little bit of my hand with his thumb.

I took a slow breath and then I threw it away slowly, but I was still nervous. I looked at the door in front of me with all sorts of thoughts still raging in my mind.

Yeah, I was at Gerry's parents' house. Because of Gerry's mother's request to tell me to stop by while I was in Jakarta. But of course it's not Aunt Luna who makes me nervous, but Rendra who I know still can't accept me fully to be her daughter-in-law.

I was afraid of making a mistake that would make me look worse in the eyes of Rendra who did not like me from the beginning.

"Let's go in, papa and mama have been waiting for us from earlier" Take Gerry and open the door in front of him.

Gerry just nodded then led me towards the dining room which was located a little far behind. And when I arrived, Aunt Luna stood up to greet me. While om Rendra looks indifferent by sipping coffee and reading the newspaper.

"Mama's ex-candidate came.. Here sitting next to my mom" said Aunt Luna who immediately took my hand and pulled a chair for me.

"Thank you aunt" I replied politely.

"Call mama dong dear, just be married again. Cook still call aunty continues" said aunty Luna by putting on a face pretending to be upset.

"Yes mah" I said slowly.

"Well, that's delicious. We will be a family. You don't have to worry, baby.." Aunt Luna reminded.

"Good mah" I replied slowly.

"Yes, let's eat first. Later we chat again" Invite aunty Luna who has stood up to get om Rendra rice and side dishes.

"Eating a lot yes dear.g no need to diet-diet before marriage. Mama wants you to get pregnant. Let this house rame" said Aunt Luna while taking rice for me.

"I can myself mah" Rejected me when aunt Luna held out a plate of rice to me.

Aunt Luna shook her head "Ga may refuse" he said which sounded like an order.

"Just calm, then immediately made 2 directly. Let's add rame" Saut Gerry jahil.

I frowned in annoyance at him, and he instead smiled happily.

"Where's Gerry's meal, mah? ain't taken away, all right?" His protest was because aunt Luna had already sat back down after taking it for herself.

"Take it yourself baby, usually also take it yourself anyway" said aunty Luna who was then busy picking up side dishes for me.

"Nothing has chosen this mother's love" he sighed annoyed.

"I take ya mas" I answered later and answered with a smile on his face and a nod.

"Let him take it himself, dear.. You eat" said Aunt Luna, trying to prevent me from standing up.

"Ga anything mah" I said while taking a plate of rice and side dishes for Gerry.

I sat back and enjoyed our lunch which then went quiet. None of us spoke.

I glance at Rendra who still looks cold face like when we just came. I'm back nervous. Remembering Om Rendra ignored me when Aunt Luna was chatting with me.

"Where are you ready for your wedding?" Ask Aunt Luna when we moved into the living room overlooking a swimming pool.

"It's 60% mah, the rest later let Gerry take care of. Let Caramel go home to prepare for the kabul ijab event there. Although only close family invited" said Gerry explained.

"You don't want a good party, baby?" Ask Aunt Luna who seems surprised by my decision.

"No mah, the most important thing for me is that I am legitimate in the eyes of law and religion to be Mas Gerry's wife" I replied confidently.

"You sure? though mama hopes there will be a big party in your house" he said a little disappointed.

"I've thought about it carefully mah, enough relatives who come to attend our kabul ijab event later" I reassured aunt Luna once again.

"You are so simple, dear.. Mama will respect your decision" said Aunt Luna softened.

"Thank you mah" I said with a smile on my lips.

"Papa said there was something in the talk" said aunty Luna to Om Rendra who had been busy behind the newspaper.

And I was nervous again, just by looking at Om Rendra who was now folding his newspaper and putting his glasses on the table, then staring at me and Gerry alternately.

"Don't make mistakes at your wedding" said Rendra firmly.

"Because papa will invite all company relations to come at your wedding later, to announce you as the successor of the company that will replace the position of papa if you have retired later" Said Rendra who looked serious.

Gerry looks very surprised, because all this time his position in the company is only as an ordinary employee without anyone knowing that he is the only successor of the Soewirdjo family.

"Why is this sudden like a pah?" Ask Gerry for wonder.

"It's a decision papa can't avoid" replied Om Rendra indisputably.

"And also, papa has prepared a house for you not far from this house" he said that no less surprised us.

Aunt Luna smiled happily to see us who were astonished with papa's attitude that seemed to have softened a little.

"Thank you for the reward" I replied and Gerry simultaneously.

Gerry clasped my hand and rem*snya slowly to channel a happy feeling that seemed to burst in his chest as I felt. Because knowing the heart of Om Rendra is not as hard as it used to be.

"Eat it, you guys should be spared to have a baby. Mom and dad want to enjoy the old days by playing with grandchildren. Kayak mama friends who like to show off grandchildren" said aunt Luna a little sulking.

Gerry laughed amusedly at the behavior of Aunt Luna who was jealous of her friends "Thank you mah... Thank you pah.. ga there are no words that I can express to describe the happiness that I am currently feeling" said Gerry who stood up and hugged Aunt Luna.

There were a few tears in the corner of Luna's hazel eyes that were in Gerry's arms.

"I'm sorry Mama and Papa are always managing your life dear.." Said Aunt Luna with tears that now wet her cheeks.

This scene in front of me, anyone would definitely shed tears looking at it. No exception for me who can only look down to hide the tears that so profusely flowed in my face.

"I won't disappoint my mom and dad over my choice right now" Gerry said by stroking Aunt Luna's back and calming her down.
