It's been over 24 hours but Caramel hasn't woken up yet either. The doctor said his critical period was over. But looking at his head, left hand and left leg on the bandage like that made me grieve on my own.

"I'm sorry I can't take care of you, baby.."

I repeated that sentence over and over again when I grabbed her hand. I'm upset.

My mom and dad are in contact and will be here in a few hours. But why hasn't he been human yet? What will I tell them later? that I can't take good care of him.

I gently elus her hair "Open your eyes dear.don't make you worry"

But he still remains closed. Blue bruises filled her beautiful face. His lips looked pale. Is he really okay?

Yesterday afternoon during a meeting with a client outside the office, Valley called me. And I was aghast when he told me that Caramel had an accident and was taken to hospital xxx.

How could he who was far away know, and I who was close to him not know at all? I just ended my meeting with a client and rearranged our meeting schedule.

I rushed to the hospital and found Reyhan pacing around waiting for Caramel in front of the operating room.

I clutched his collar furiously "Lo apan Caramel?"

"It's not me!" He said as he tried to let go of my hand that was still pulling on his collar.

"I swear, not me! But lo's wife!" Said again.

I took my hand off immediately "Kirana?"

"Uhukkk.." He answered while justifying his messy collar.

"How could he be so bad? tell me what happened that afternoon." I ordered Reyhan who looked riled up.

"Quick say or I report you for conspiring with Kirana to harm Caramel.." I threatened.

"Gue can't hurt the mother of my son!" Reyhan said loudly.

"It's a matter of critain how it happened" I ordered again.

"okay.. Okay "he said resignedly.

"I intended to get Caramel home after work. But suddenly Kirana came and was angry. I and Kirana argued and Caramel walked away from us, but suddenly Kirana walked quickly towards him and pushed him into the street. Caramel who was shocked because it was pushed by Kirana was also reflex to pull Kirana's clothes and they were hit by a car both. I can't stop it because it happened too fast" the story was long.

"Yes, but the wound is not as bad as Caramel" Reyhan said, lowering his head.

I rushed to the room where Kirana was being treated. As soon as I opened the door to her room, I saw my mother-in-law was there, looking after her.

He glanced at me when he saw me in the doorway. I walked up to her weakly lying with some cuts on her face as well as her right hand wrapped in bandages.

"Mommy stay first yes.you guys just have a casual conversation" said my mother-in-law and took her bag on the sofa then left us.

"I didn't think you could be that bad Na.. " I started our conversation.

"However did you hurt Caramel to such an extent? Where's mind?" I'm holding back the anger.

"I hate to see you fighting over it!" His words are full of hate.

"But not by harming her too, is Na?" I rubbed my face rough.

"Sorry, I can't let it go this time. Let the police investigate and punish you for what you did" I said and stood up.

"You're this same as me, Gerr.." His words were accompanied by sobs.

I stopped my move "It concerns someone's life Na.. Even if you were involved in this accident, you started it"

"Have I never been in your heart, Gerr?" His words were clear and still accompanied by his sobs.

"Think for yourself, does what you've been doing all this time deserve my love?" I said and just passed by leaving him still sobbing.

I left the room where Kirana was being treated and rushed to the operating room, where Caramel was still being handled.

The doctor is not finished handling it yet. I recited the prayer in my heart for Caramel to be fine. I poked both my hands on my face with a huff. And Reyhanpun no less furious. He walked around here and there making me dizzy.

The ringing of my phone shocked me, from Veronica. I answered her phone and she's already in the hospital. He also rushed here after I told him that Caramel had an accident. And told me to pick her up in the hospital corridor.

As I walked past the information table, I overheard a nurse talking to another nurse. I was so shocked to hear that. I sharpened my ears again. And right, what they were talking about was Kirana.

"Sorry, what max sister is Maysha Widjaya who is in room 56A? I am her husband, Gerry Sbastian Soewierdjo. So is it true, my wife won't be able to get pregnant because of an accident?"
