Episode 26: Religious Court Letter

Andre and Shinta finally decided to return to Jakarta after saying goodbye to Saka. Saka had cried because his longing had not really paid off, but the situation in the villa was really not good. Andre decides to let Hana alone first, he has not really wanted to divorce Hana but Andre thinks Hana needs time to accept everything.

On Monday morning, Shinta had to leave for campus immediately because she had morning classes. Andre was ready in the car to deliver his wife, Shinta had refused because this morning would be a lot of people. Andre still insisted and promised to take Shinta down at a place some distance from the campus, Shinta finally agreed to it.

On campus, Shinta got off Andre's car.

“Shinta!” someone called him.

Shinta was very surprised because she was not ready to show everyone who her husband was (again), because she still remembered clearly the disappointed face of Ikmal after knowing Andre was her husband.

Mail tugged Ikmal to accompany him to approach his girlfriend. Shinta who saw Ikmal expression like that immediately knew that now Ikmal might be disgusted to be friends with “kakor” girl like her.

“Hai Ikmal!” Sapa Ve cheerfully and pretended not to think Mail was there.

“Anaan anyway, Mail! Lo make me bete aja deh.”

Ikmal was silent, but his eyes kept on Shinta. His gaze was so sharp that it made Shinta very uncomfortable.

“Shin! You're done eating, right ? Let's get to class again!” Take Ve who is already very uncomfortable with the presence of Mail.

Shinta simply replied with a nod and kept her head down as Ikmal kept looking at Shinta.

“You are! What's wrong!” Andre stroked Shinta's head instead of hitting her.

“Sini Mas ajarin.” Andre hugs Shinta from behind and leads Shinta to enter the ingredients properly.

Shinta just smiled and occasionally laughed because of Andre's behavior like this. Andre suddenly looked at Shinta's hand. He forgot something, because at that time his mind was very afraid he forgot one thing that was very important in marriage. He forgot to wrap his wedding ring on Shinta's ring finger, it was appropriate that at the beginning of the marriage Shinta had felt discouraged because he had not given his rights as a wife.

Andre secretly stroked Shinta's fingers instead of helping Shinta cook to measure the size that would fit her ring later.

The sound of the bell suddenly breaking the romantic atmosphere created, Andre volunteered to check who was lighting his house bell while Shinta was in charge of preparing their dinner.

Andre received the guest who came uninvited.

“Iya... Who is it ?” ask Andre.

“This, Mas. There is a package for Andre..”.

“That's my own, Sir.”

The package courier immediately gave the package addressed to Andre and asked Andre to sign the handover document.

“Thanks, yes Sir.”

The mysterious package courier just smiled and immediately left because there were many other packages that he had to send. Andre immediately took the package inside and read who the sender was.

“Bandung religious court ?” read Andre.

Shinta who had finished preparing dinner approached Andre to check who had come earlier.

“So who, Mas ?” ask Shinta.

Andre is still fixated on the documents he took out of the black envelope labeled religious court bandung.

“That's what, Mas ?” ask the curious Shinta.

Not answering Shinta's question, Andre immediately left Shinta with the car keys.

“MAS! MAS ANDRE!” call Shinta who is still confused by Andre's change of attitude.

Andre who did not listen to Shinta at all immediately gasp drove his car without telling Shinta anything. Shinta, who was very confused, immediately checked the black envelope wrapped in the package of documents to check who the sender was and why Andre could be seen as a seal after reading the documents.

“Bandung religious court ?” shinta's hand shook, she knew very well what the documents contained without looking at the details of just those three words.

Hana had already registered their divorce to the Bandung religious court which meant they would actually get a divorce. Shinta was really surprised, she was already speechless. Andre must now be on his way to Bandung to directly meet with Hana and question all this. Shinta can only pray for the happiness of both of them, although in her little heart she still wants Mas Andre and Mbak Hananya to stay together.
