HOPEFULLY HE CAN FIND HER
***
"Eh?!"
I was surprised by Dandi's reply.
After coming home from Fia's house, Dandi and I went home on foot.
In the middle of the road, we chatted a few words to release the boredom that approached.
Later, I briefly touched on the status of his relationship.
"Why are you single, Dand?"
After I asked like that, he reasoned that he was too picky.
Of course I asked him again, picky as what Dandi meant.
Then, she answered him while looking down, looking timid.
"I. .. I want to have a boyfriend, who has the same date and month of birth as me."
"Eh?!"
It's only natural that I'm surprised. I mean .. That sounds weird to me.
Want to have a boyfriend who has the same date and month of birth? Huh! It looks like a child's thought.
Though Dandi is a smart child, even he also has a Lecturer Father.
And as for his ideals, I'm sure he'd love to be a doctor.
This was proven by him who always wore a white coat when guarding UKS and his interest in Medical and Biological Sciences.
Then, he thought so? I didn't think about it with him.
"Why would you want something like that?"
"I can't answer it. Obviously, I should have it happen."
Although Dandi is the son of a rich man, it may be a bit difficult to find a partner if he still insists on wanting it.
"Do you have any other criteria, if you really find them?"
I wonder the answer. Because I feel, it's a possible thing that could happen, even though it's rare.
"Sure, Mom!"
"If I find it, the condition is that it should not be too old. Maximum don't go past 6 years of my age."
Look, Dandi even spoke something as difficult as that.
Dandy then continued.
"Even though the woman I met was a Boss, Class Brother, Teacher or whatever, I will strive to obtain it."
Although it sounded strange, I appreciated her confidence.
"Okay Dand, Okay. That's enough. I understand that already."
"Then don't tell the others. Because only one mother knows this."
I nodded, agreeing.
Hopefully, he can find it. Because I'm afraid Dandi is difficult to get married, because of his love like that.
Finally, we continued walking together, until we got to my front door.
"Dand, Mom's here. Mom goes home first, 'well. Or maybe you'll stop by first?"
"No need, Mom. I have to go home now."
We split up because I got to my house. A simple house, not as big as someone else's.
But I am still grateful, for having a place to shelter.
Dandi then said goodbye and continued on his way, towards the highway.
"I'm home!"
I opened the door, and went straight into it.
"Welcome. Oh yeah, why is it so late, Hera?"
I answered her question, after kissing Mom's hand.
"I've been seeing my students, Mom. Yesterday he fell during training."
"In that case, Mother prayed for your disciple to be healed quickly."
"Dad Mom, aamiin."
Then, I headed to my room, changed the formal clothes I was wearing, then headed to the dishwasher.
"Hera! Eat first."
"If you've eaten, you can do other activities."
By force, I'm going to eat. Before that, I washed about 2 dishes.
I approached the dining table, opening the hood.
On the dining table, there is a menu of tofu cooked in a stew, then there is white rice, boiled young cassava leaves, and of course sambal.
In my family, we used to eat like this.
My brother always told me to save my payday money and told me to save money. My brother once told me:
"We won't know when those hard times will come."
So, I tried my best, just in case.
"Well, it's time for me to eat."
***
After I finished eating, I put my old dinner plate into the dishwasher.
But, when I was about to wash it, there was someone knocking on the door.
"Excuse me!"
I canceled my activities again, washed my dirty hands first, then met her.
"Eh, what's up 'well, Mom?"
The one who knocked on the door turned out to be my neighbor, with his son who looked like a first-grader of Junior High.
"Anu Ma'am. I asked Mom to help my son. Please teach him about Indonesian lessons."
"Dad Ma'am. With pleasure."
"By the way, Adek wants to learn about what?"
"About how to write 'in' and 'to', ma'am. I have PR like that."
Oh, it turns out that the Indonesian assignment he received from his Teacher was about 'Front Words'.
All right, I'm taking it. After all, the Science of Authorship also has something like that.
I seem to be able to help her.
"Then, here! We're studying in the living room."
The boy nodded, approached the living room table and sat on the floor.
"Sorry, son. If you sit on the floor."
"It's okay, Mom. I have helped you too, I thank you."
"Open your book, Deck! All noted."
The boy nodded slowly, then opened his book.
"Mother, Adek the Nulis, 'well!."
The boy nodded twice. But ... Why do I have to go twice? Never mind, I better get started.
"We started with the word 'in' first. The word 'in' is separated and spliced. To tell the difference, there is the easiest way."
"The trick is, the word 'in' will be separate if it is related to place, time, and location."
The boy kept taking notes and I was amazed by him. Since I looked at the contents of the book, he noted down the important points only.
"Mother give an example, for the part of the place. In Sampang, in the Mosque, in the Market, and in the Office."
"Then for the part of time, for example, in the future, during the day, and in the afternoon."
"Last, the position is above, below, to the right, and so on."
The boy still records it. Then, after he finished writing it, he raised his hand.
"So, if we use anything other than those three, what should be separated?"
I nodded, agreeing with him. But I explained a little.
"You're right. But there are exceptions to the 'on the side' section'. Because indeed, there is something to connect to."
"Who? How can you, Mom?"
I smiled, watching him tilt my head in confusion. Then I explained it again.
"'Besides' will be spliced if it has any meaning except or other. For example 'as well as a civil servant, he is also a businessman'."
He seems to understand my point. He also recorded what I just said.
Then I continued it again.
"For the 'to' section will be split if used as a place or location pointer. Examples are to the Mosque, to Banten, to there, and so on."
"Then, 'to' will be spliced if used as the prefix meaning."
The boy raised his hand and asked me a question.
"That's, Mom?"
The child must be confused by the complexity of Indonesian lessons. So, I have to explain it again.
But, I better explain it by writing in his book. Let him understand it more easily.
Next, what I wrote was:
##
The ' used as the prefix meaning:
a. Has a nature or characteristic: chief
b. Toward as: lover, will
c. Declare the group: the tenth (that person)
d. Declare the order: (person) tenth. If you use numbers, it becomes 10th
e. Have experienced events (inadvertently or suddenly): hit, caught, met
f. Can or willing: kebaca, keangkat
##
The boy looked at the book I had written. He continued to look at her, pointing with his pen.
He continued to do so, until about two minutes.
"Thank you, Mom. I understand a little now."
"But I have to go home like that."
The boy stood up, kissed my hand, and said goodbye.
But when he just opened the door, his mother came.
"It's over, son?"
"Already, Mom."
"Dad, you go home first. Mom will follow."
The boy obeyed the words of his mother. He went straight home, running.
Next, the mother approached me, giving me black plastic.
"Eh? What's this for, Mom?"
Ake took the black plastic she gave him.
"I just want to thank you for helping my son."
"Eh, no need, ma'am. I'm sincere."
"Udah, just take it. I'm giving it away too."
I don't know about it yet. But, I'll take it then, because Mom keeps pushing.
"Well, Mom. I'm taking this."
"Dad, Mother Teacher. I'm thanking you."
"Together, Mom."
Then, the mother came home and I could continue to wash the dishes, which I had previously left behind.
