I'M SORRY

"Good Children, lesson Father End."

"You can rest."

The English language study time is over, and now it's time to take a break.

After Master left the classroom, I took the lunchbox from my bag.

"I have to eat .. I don't want to faint again."

Ever since I fainted from not having breakfast and also forgetting to eat the provisions I brought, I have not forgotten anything like this.

The menu I made this morning was fresh bread and peanut butter.

Today, I did not make provisions for Syila .. because she has moved house and become my neighbor.

So, last Saturday, was the last day to eat my stuff.

"Well .. time to eat!"

Just as I was biting one of the loaves I was carrying, Syila and Fia pulled up a chair, approached me, and sat down in front of my desk.

"Rei, I'm joining ya."

"I'm also Rei."

I nodded slowly, chewing my food.

Fia opened a dining town filled with fried meatballs.

While Syila brought bread with chocolate stuffing, which she did not know when and where she got it.

"I want to check the Athletic Club kit after the meal, anyone want to come?"

They both nodded slowly.

The bread and peanut butter that I was eating was delicious.

The soft texture of a loaf of bread, blends perfectly with the sweetness of peanut butter.

Finally, my meal was over, along with the two of them.

"Let's go!"

"Yeah!"

"Come on!

I walked over, heading for the Athletics Club Room.

We had to go through several buildings, until we finally got to the front door of the Athletic Club Room.

"We're on duty, Syila, Fia."

"I'm part of checking the equipment, Syila's taking notes, and Fia's looking for a list of participants' names."

They nodded in agreement.

I headed to the cardboard of various colors, and checked every one of them.

"Syila, please take note!"

"Ready!"

I started to open up the cardboard, and took it all out, because I wanted to re-clean it.

Everything is disheveled, maybe because it is borrowed by other students, when sports lessons.

"The Stick of the Estafet, there!"

Syila took note of it, while trying to get me to joke around.

"It's only just started, Rei told me about the stick."

I looked back and Syila smiled broadly.

I didn't care about it, and continued.

"Whistles, discs, bullet repel balls."

Syila continued to take notes, and I kept mentioning the others, until it was over.

"How's Syila? Is there anything less?"

"Everything I've noted, the Stopwatch fits, there are five."

Alright, since it's complete, I'm a little relieved.

"If you were, Fia? List of participants' names, is there?"

"There!"

"All right, just put it under the table. Now, we have to get back to class."

They both agreed.

After everything was sorted out, we headed back to class.

But it turned out .. when we checked the items in the Athletic Club Room, outside the sky was getting cloudy.

Will it rain today?

And sure enough, when the three of us had already reached Class, it was raining.

The rain is not great, but enough to make a mishap of the land.

I headed to my stool, sat down and thought of something.

Should I cancel the inaugural practice today?

Ah, it seems not necessary, because this school field is made of brick.

The rain was also not too big, it still seemed to allow for practice.

"Both the children, they all sit at their desks."

After a few hours of studying, the bell rang, indicating that the study time was over.

The teacher and some students have already left our class.

Except for the Athletics Club, who haven't come home yet, because there's a training schedule.

Then, the students left the class, moving to the toilet to change their uniforms.

I also started changing clothes, because the class was empty.

After changing clothes, I headed to the field, which turned out to have gathered all, including Rosid and Beni who will monitor our Club.

I went to gather, and told them to line up.

"Everything! Come line!"

They all obeyed my orders.

"Before I start training this time, I'll explain to you guys."

"Then I ask you guys to be serious in training, because it's our priority to win the race."

"Only the best participants can participate. You understand?!"

"PLEASE UNDERSTAND!!!"

Alright, since the equipment is already here as well, I can already start the training.

"Then we split the task."

"Fia and Syila part of Lari Gawang, then the rest of the notes."

"And the others are the same, you guys do Sprint exercises, and the Fast Road. We'll change that."

"You got it, didn't you?"

"PLEASE UNDERSTAND!!!"

"In that case, please break up the ranks and do your own job."

Because the field is wide enough, we can do 2 to 3 sports at once.

The left side of the field is used for the Jari Gawang, the middle of the Sprint, and the right side of the Fast Road.

Since everyone has got their duties, I approached Rosid and Beni.

They carry a lot of equipment, such as a thermos containing ice cubes, stretchers, bandages, antiseptics, and others.

They seem to have worked hard today.

"Hey, Rei. Later the results of his training notes give me."

"Eh? Why should that be, Rosid?"

I don't understand, because I was asked for something like that.

"This time, the Chairman of OSIS determines who will participate in the competition, based on the best records of each branch of training."

Huh huh? What is that selfish request?

I haven't finished my words yet, I hear the voice of a woman in pain.

I turned around, saw Fia fall over, on the board of the Wicket Run.

I got closer, and ran straight away, without any concern for the matter of the Chairman of OSIS.

"Fia! Why did you fall?!"

I'm worried about him.

"It's okay, I can get up."

Fia tried to get up, but fell back down.

"Rossid! Beni! Bring the sign."

Fia was holding her leg, and I could see there were small injuries.

"Hey Fia! Your hand's hurt!"

"It's okay .. It's just a small wound."

"Let there be a small wound, you are a woman. I don't want you to have a scar on your smooth skin."

After I said it, he smiled.

Is there something wrong with my words?

Beni and Rosid then lift Fia up on a stretcher, and take her to the UKS.

While Fia was taken to the UKS, I told all the Athletics Club members who had seen me so worried about Fia's situation.

"I apologize to all of you. Today we cancel the exercise and you can go home."

"Once again, I apologize for continuing to run the exercise, even though it's only been a few hours of rain."

I bowed, apologizing to all my men.

"It's okay, Chief. What matters, please take care of Fia."

I re-enforced, and saw the other members start leaving the field.

I headed to the UKS while carrying a flask filled with ice cubes, just in case Fia was really injured or bruised.

After arriving in the UKS, I saw Syila, Beni and Rosid put on worried faces.

Then there is also the Chairman of OSIS who put on a gloomy face and Mother Hera who is sitting at her desk.

The rest, Fia was sitting on the bed, and there was Dandi standing beside her.

"Ah, what a coincidence."

"I need ice cubes to compress his legs?"

I gave Dandi an ice cube thermos.

"Eng ... Why Fia, Dand?"

"She ... Her right leg has been injured by Ankle."

Wait, he got an Ankle injury?

That means he will not be able to participate in the next race, because he has to pull over a few weeks.

Now, it's just me and Fia in the UKS Room.

I had already cut off his hopes of winning the race again.

Fia is like the most important asset in this Club and School.

I also dashed his wish, about my betting problems with Fia yesterday.

The bet was, "If Fia wins the race, then I have to date her."

Even though I rejected him yesterday, I felt bad and sad about his current state.
