Satuku Hand Husband

Satuku Hand Husband
Day H Wedding

Mandala was awakened by the sound of knocking on her bedroom door the next morning.

With half-covered eyes Mandala was a little surprised as well as finding herself waking up on the sofa.

Ah, yes just remembered him. Last night when he could not sleep and saw that the door to Amadea's room was closed, Mandala returned to the room and sat on the sofa. Unexpectedly his mind that wandered everywhere it finally brought him to dreamland.

Mr. Budi seemed to be standing in front of the door with a slightly panicked face.

"Mother Karen called from the morning but there was no answer. You okay?" ask Mr. Budi with an anxious face.

Mandala was confused. Yeah, he's fine. It's stuffy..

"God! What time is it?" The mandala panicked on its own. He may have forgotten that today is his wedding day.

Mr. Budi just grinned. He is indeed not an ordinary driver, but sometimes doubles like a personal assistant man whose mood is not easily guessed.

"Where's dea?"Mandala asked in panic but had rushed into the room again. He ran back to look at Pak Budi again.

"Bu Dea has been escorted by Mr. Bayu since early morning to the hotel. Said Ms. Vina later make up long so better once in the morning to there. I see." Mr. Budi explained.

Mandala nodded calmly. It could be this ridiculous with sleep. Where is Mandala always on time and perfectionist in everything?

The mandala only took a few minutes to prepare before finally sitting sweetly in the passenger seat. Mr. Budi drove to the hotel in relief.

On the way, Mandala would have just opened his cellphone and found several missed calls filled the notification box.

Karen's been calling him three times. Vina is the same. It means that Mandala is as bad as sleeping.

Even though everyone who works for Mandala knows that Mandala will be angry if someone calls her carelessly in a private number, except for a very, very emergency business.

Then Karen and Vina called him more than once this morning, which means they were freaking out.

"Dea didn't call Mr Budi or Ms Lulu? She didn't call and call me this morning?" muttered Mandala while asking Mr. Budi who was busy driving.

Mr. Budi shook his head. "No, Sir. Ms. Dea left early in the morning to be picked up by Ms. Vina. I thought you would wake up and follow after. Three hours you didn't pick up the phone and we panicked until I knocked on the door."

And Mandalas can only be pensive. Did Dea not panic because she could not be contacted earlier? Suddenly there was a hint of disappointment in his heart.

"Yes, I'm not the husband she really wants. I'm not the man of his dreams. As close as we were yesterday all day sharing secret stories, traumas, weeping together; to Dea I was just the boss paying her for this fake marriage.

If yesterday she seemed to care about my life story, maybe she just pityed." Suddenly that thought was what lay in the little heart of Mandala. He felt a little disappointed but he was self-conscious afterwards.

The car was speeding, as Mandala's feelings were speeding through her confused thoughts about Amadea and her own feelings.

***

Amadea looked riled up. In a few hours will be married, cooking should not be tense. Vina could be that relaxed.

Mandala could not be contacted. How can he be calm? Not to mention Meirika's latest DM which he had just checked at a glance this morning disturbed his mind. How can his mind relax?

Amadea looked in the mirror and found her beautiful face wrapped in perfect make-up. Oh, is he happy?

"Dea, smile yes. Don't tense. Photographers and videographers need documentation. One more minute he'll be coming." Vina gave instructions.

Dea nodded. Yes, Vina and Karen share the task. Vina is in charge of Dea and all the affairs of the bride; then Karen is in charge of the event venue, the invited guests, the media, the vendors, and of course the most important thing about this task is that he has to take care of the Mandala.

Czechoslovakia! Czechoslovakia!

Amadea felt like a clown as she smiled in front of the camera. He feels fake.

"Dea, you expect too much from Mandala. Throw away that feeling. Mandala even fell asleep on her wedding day. Last night you were so nervous you couldn't sleep. Not really comparable, right?

You're just a substitute bride. Self-conscious, Dea! Conscious!" The voice in Amadea's heart echoed between her daydreams and her lips which she kept forcing to smile towards the camera.

Vina was waiting for him with a sumringah face. As a friend, he was very happy about this marriage. He did not know the contents of Dea's chaotic heart and hid behind the fake smile.

"Bu Vina, where is the bride's family? We also need to take pictures of the documentation." The voice of the documentation team broke the Dea reverie.

Dea could clearly see Vina's sumrigah face turning into panic. Yes, Vina knows from the story of Dea that her mother who is the only family does not want to come to this marriage.

"Mmm, no need. Don't need. That's family privacy. You guys are done, are you taking pictures?" asked Vina in a tone like exorcising it subtly.

After the death of the documentation crew, Dea can only be pensive. Vina looked at him with a guilty feeling. Although he did not know what the problem was in detail, but Vina knew Dea and her mother's relationship was not okay.

"Mom can't really come?" ask Vina.

Amadea nodded.

"It's okay, Dea. I'm here's. Don't sad. From the moment I picked you up, you looked glum. There are invited guests who are important people and some media. You have to smile a lot. I know it is not easy to pretend to be happy, but this is the demand as the wife of an important person like Mr. Mandala, Dea," said Vina again understandingly.

Dea was silent and could only nod slowly. "I'm okay, Vin. Just a little tense."

Though Dea was not only moody because Mandala could not be contacted when they were home, but Dea was moody since the morning after checking DM from Meirika which was enough to surprise her.

What exactly is Meirika's DM?
