Nicholas frantically got into a taxi to Sentosa Hospital. He tried to call Bianca's phone but her phone died.

When Nicholas arrived at the hospital he asked the patient for a small child by the name of Karen, but the nurse said Karen had come home last night.

Nicholas was relieved to hear Karen was fine, which meant that Bianca was also fine. He then realized this behavior, leaving his wife just like that just because Bianca's son was in the hospital. He felt himself so silly, wanting to always be there for Bianca and be the place to lean on Bianca. Finally he decided to go home and postpone an hour later for his meeting with Simon.
