“Wi.. lo turn yourself into nothing, right?” ask Roxas after the last lesson.
“Emang lo not directly back?”
“Gue called sir Adrian. Don't know what.”
“Need me to meet?”
“Ngga. Go back to it. He said tomorrow you want to start trading, you have to help.”
“Oh yes. Yes, I went back first. If sir Adrian macem-macem, say aja.”
“Quiet aja.”
The goddess rushed out of the classroom. He should be home soon. His mother had warned him to go home immediately because he had to accompany him to buy some equipment for trading tomorrow.
After the Goddess died, Roxas followed her out of class. Along the way to the teacher's room, someone called out his name. As much as possible Roxas remained sweet by giving his deathly smile. Not to forget also he formed his thumb and index finger to form a love symbol while saying ‘sarange’. Karuan alone makes his loyal fans scream pleasure.
GECK
GECK
GECK
After knocking on the door, Roxas walked into the room. There are still some teachers there who are preparing to go home. He's approaching Adrian's desk. The homeroom teacher was writing something on paper.
“Pak..” say Adrian.
“Sit,” Adrian said without turning his head to the student.
For a while Roxas was still sitting waiting for Adrian to finish with his activities. After about ten minutes, Adrian finished his work, then looked at the student.
“Your maths rep has been shared?”
“Already sir.”
“How much?”
“Buleud, sir (bundar, sir),” Roxas said as he threw his signature grin.
“Oh.. tell ceplok.”
Roxas glanced at Keki at his homeroom teacher. It turns out that in addition to being fierce, he was also very happy to make a term that sucks. Maybe he equates its value like the food he often meets at home.
“You don't bosen what, every mathematical repetition can be lost? Eaten with rice plus soy sauce and cayenne pepper plus crackers, would be delicious. But if it is displayed on your paper replay is not good to see.”
Roxas swallowed his saliva when Adrian mentioned eggplant complete with rice, soy sauce, cayenne pepper and crackers. Instantly his stomach became hungry to hear the food that is often eaten by kang Mus, frontman in Pension Thugs.
“Do you have no desire to change your value?”
“Udah suratan fate, sir.”
Adrian leaned his back against the back of the chair while folding his hands together. His eyes continued to look at this disciple in front of him. Not long after he returned to his original position.
“How about we make a bet?” adrian Tawal.
“What bet, sir?”
“I'll give you three questions. If you can do one problem correctly, I will buy you a meal.”
“Ah no need, sir. Later that I was told nyapu same mengepel again to pay for the food.”
Adrian smiled faintly at it. He had seen the video that Krishna had sent him. The man leaned his body against the table, folding both hands on the table.
“Let's just relax, the incident won't happen again. I'll buy you lunch for a whole week if you can do well. In fact I will raise the offer if you can get out of the bottom board at the end of the semester later.”
“Seriously? What do you want to give me?”
“What do you want?”
“I'm not grandiose, sir. I just want to graduate and continue working.”
“If you accept my offer, you can pass. And I'll help find you a job, how?”
“Totally? I don't have a prank anymore, do I?”
“I'm serious.”
For a moment Roxas observed the face of his homeroom class. It seemed Adrian was serious with his words. His eyes stared unblinkingly at the Italian – Sunda bulge.
“Deal, sir!”
In the spirit of 45, Roxas extended his hand to Adrian. The handsome-looking man immediately welcomed the hand of the disciple. The two shook hands with their expectations. Adrian handed over the paper that was nearby. There was a sigh of frustration Roxas saw the math problem listed. The shadow of the agreement seemed to have started to drift away.
“Pak..honest yes. I was blind to mathematics. My head suddenly migraine if you see about rich gini.”
“That's the mind set you should change. Suggest it in you if you can do it. Don't give up before trying it.”
“But I really don't understand, sir,” Roxas replied in frustration.
“We learn slowly.”
Adrian picked up another paper. There he had summarized the mathematics lesson for his student. As much as possible he uses words that are easy to understand. Slowly, Adrian began to teach Roxas the material he had so hated.
It has been an hour longer Adrian explained in detail the lesson of calculating the count. Experience as an IPA child and had studied in industrial engineering majors, of course, the number is not difficult for him. With the language as simple as possible Adrian tried to make Roxas understand.
“Where? Still don't understand?”
“After, sir.”
Roxas briefly observed the scribbles of paper on the table. Then he repeated all the steps described by Adrian. Little by little he began to be able to digest what his homeroom teacher said.
“Try you to do this. It will be easier to understand if it is practiced directly.”
Roxas takes another paper in Adrian's hand. For a moment the young man took a deep breath while praying in his heart. Then he started working on it. Adrian back leaning back while keeping an eye on Roxas who is struggling to solve the problem. Then there was a rumbling sound from the stomach of the student.
“The sooner you work on the problem. Then the sooner you can fill your stomach.”
Adrian's words just now seemed to be a whip for Roxas. The spirit of the young man doubled. The shadow of the rice and its side dishes began to mill around in his head, alternating with mathematical formulas.
Half an hour later, Roxas had solved the problem. Adrian checked it out immediately. Of the three questions given, Roxas finally can answer one problem correctly.
“Today you are only right one. Tomorrow you must be right two.”
“Ready, sir,” replied Roxas enthusiastically. Somehow he was sure that tomorrow he could answer more than one question correctly.
“Come home.”
Adrian tidied up his stuff that was still on the table. So did Roxas. The young man inserted all his writing tools following the graffiti made Adrian earlier. Before long the two of them walked out of the room and headed straight for the parking lot.
“You hungry? Want to eat first?”
“Bby, sir.”
Adrian first came out of the parking lot with his motorbike. Roxas soon followed behind him. The young man continued to follow the motor in front of him. Wherever Adrian takes him, he'll come. The important thing is that his hungry stomach will soon be over.
After passing two red lights, the motorbike driven by Adrian entered one of the Padang restaurants. In the heart of Roxas cheered, he quickly followed and stopped his vehicle right next to Adrian's. After removing his helmet, Roxas immediately followed inside.
“Eat here or wrap?” ask the seller to Adrian.
“Eat here aja.”
“Pake what?”
“Rendang.”
“Sama use rendang too,” sela roxas without having to ask. After ordering, the two immediately headed for one of the tables.
It didn't take long, their order was done. Roxas greedily ate his food. Rice that was only as big as a fist was eaten. Adrian glanced at the almost empty plate of his pupil.
“You added?” bargained for.
“Bby pak?”
“Hmm.”
Roxas immediately stood up then approached the waiter guard near the food display. He handed over his plate which was almost ludes in its contents.
“Add more rice same chopped yes.”
The middle-aged woman quickly took Roxas' order. With a sumringah face, Roxas returns his desk. Just three mouthfuls, the food on the second plate went into Roxas' mouth, and suddenly Adrian stood up from his seat.
“Which father is going?” tanyanya panic. She's still traumatized by the incident at the cafe a few days ago.
“I want to wash my hands.”
“Oh.. kirain wants to run away again,” said Roxas slowly.
Adrian set his foot toward the sink at the back of the restaurant. He soon returned to his desk. Roxas finished his meal.
“Quickly finished.”
“Be careful, sir. I was scared to be left again.”
“Hahaha.”
Roxas looked at his teacher's laughter. The man could have laughed so much. Though due to the actions of the man, himself, Dewi also Micky must return to drain energy after filling up. And the most obvious is the shame of not being able to pay their food bills. Lost in the authority and good looks of Roxas due to a joint tragedy in front of the cafe waitress.
“You want to bring food home?”
“Ngga sir, thanks. My grandmother did not like Padang.” cuisine
“Ya already, come.”
Adrian walked to the cashier's desk and paid for their food. Together the two headed for the parking lot. As he was about to put on his helmet, Roxas' phone rang, he immediately raised the flat object as soon as he saw the call from the grandmother.
“Assalamu’alaikum. what is enin?”
“Waalaikumsalam. casep where?”
“On the road bade uih, enin (on the road, want to go home).”
“Enin hoyong chicken krispi.”
“Oh muhun's. Ku Aep dipangmeserkeun, sakedap deui Aep uih (Yes. Same Aep boughtin, soon Aep home).”
“Nuhun casep. Assalamu’alaikum.”
“Waalaikumsalam.”
Adrian starts the engine as soon as Roxas ends his call. He pretended not to listen to the young man's conversation earlier. Roxas scratched his head for a moment, then looked at Adrian.
“Ngga so go home?”
“Enin me nitip food. I'll find your order first. I went home first.”
“Ya already.”
Adrian turned his motorbike back and then left the Padang restaurant. After the death of Adrian, Roxas down from his motorbike, then to the row of shophouses that were next to his place to eat earlier. The young man approached the parking guard.
“Kang, punten,” greet Roxas.
“Aya naon a? (what is a?).”
“Upami akang ridho, abi bade markiran motor or asanapi car sakeudap we. Abi need artos sapuluh bamboo kanggo meser chicken krispi. Kalerean enin hoyong emam and chicken krispi. (If I'm riding, I want to markirin motorbike or car for a while. I need ten thousand to buy a chicken. Coincidentally my grandmother wants to eat chicken krispi).”
For a moment the parking guard looked at the young man before him. He was quite surprised by two things. First, Roxas's familiar face turned out to be eloquent in Sundanese speech. Second, it turns out the Sundanese bule is bokek.
“Kumaha kang? (how did kang?),” Roxas question woke the parking guard up from his daydream.
“Oh. sok we (please).”
“Nuhun kang.”
After getting permission, Roxas immediately headed for the car that was about to get out of the parking lot of the shop. He gave a warning to the driver, so he could finally get out of the parking area. Roxas was happy to receive the money the driver had given him. He continued to give cues to the next vehicle, either out or in the parking lot. Fifteen minutes later, Roxas approached the parking guard.
“Kang, atoll. Abi kenging fifteen rebu, ieu kanggo akang lima rebu (kang, already. I get fifteen thousand, this makes it five thousand).”
“Teu kedah (must do),” reject the parking guard.
“Wios, kang. Da abi needs sapuluh rebu hungkul. Hatur nuhun kang (Ngga nothing, kang. I only need ten thousand. Thank you, kang),” Roxas put five thousand money in the hands of the parking guard then immediately to the chicken salesman who is nearby.
“Kang, ayanna hiji, dadana (gang, chicken one, chest).”
The seller immediately took Roxas' order. After putting it in a paper container and wrapping it again with a plastic bag, he gave it to Roxas.
“Sabaraha what? (how many kang?).”
“Roof tambourine (Nine thousand).”
Roxas reached into his pants pocket and took out the dime he got from the parking lot earlier. After paying for the chicken he bought, the young man rushed towards his motorbike. Before long the two-wheeler was sliding away. Without Roxas knowing, Adrian who was still not far from the place was watching what his student did.
