77. Shy Girl

A month passed, after the accident.

“Les’t start the party..” Mike cetus while lifting his beer glass high above his head.

“Yeaa..” say all the enders in the nightclub while raising their glasses also overhead.

“Play the music...” cried Mike very loudly.

Without waiting for a long period of loud music to be played at Mike's behest, all the visitors and guests at the nightclub started dancing as they pleased and drinking as much as they could because it was all free Mike paid for it.

“Darling you are still so easy, go enjoy his party.” Turn Mike back in.

Already the time Mike refused the woman who kept coming to him meant to seduce and took the opportunity to spend the night with the man. However, everything was rejected just like that by Mike.

Tired of being approached by various women, Mike moved from his seat to the tender Bar located at his right end. Continuously repeatedly the waiter filled Mike's empty glass with Beer, not to mention the several glasses that Mike runs out at this time. However, he was still very strong and conscious despite having so much beer that he drank.

“Please pour more beer,” pinta Mike.

When the waiter wanted to pour another beer, Joe suddenly came and stopped the waiter by saying. “Enough, don't pour more beer.”

“Good sir,” said the waiter while pulling back the beer bottle.

“Mike, what are you doing? You drank too much beer.” Joe said as he sat next to his brother.

“Oh hi Joe, you're coming. Waiter please give my sister a glass of beer, soon she will be a father.” Said Mike who was raving.

“Good Sir,”

“Please don't listen to him, I don't want to drink beer this time.” Joe told the waiter.

“Good Sir, I understand.” The servant's word.

Joe looked back at the drunk brother, ever since Joe came to know what he said Joe really didn't understand at all. Who does not understand why his brother still drinks even though he knows if he is very drunk, while he was never drunk like this even though he really likes to drink.

“Joe are you very happy, because soon you will be a father?” ask Mike who's drunk.

Joe smiled faintly at the question from his brother. “Yes, I am very happy.” replied Joe.

“Hahaha, of course you are very happy because you were given the opportunity to be a father, while I__” Mike stopped his words and took the beer glass in front of him for a drink.

“Mike, just Drink it.” Joe snatched the beer from his brother's hand.

Mike froze as Joe took the glass from his hand, suddenly his whole body went numb right then and there.

“Mike are you okay?” joe asked worriedly when he saw his brother was silent and frozen.

“Joe, do you know?”

“Know what?’ ask Joe.

“Do you know, when I found out she was pregnant it felt like the world was mine. However, because of my mistake the world was destroyed just like that without having time I enjoyed it.” Mike was getting emotional.

“Destiny, is what you say true? It's too painful if what I'm going through is destiny. He scolded the two people who were most precious to me Joe, didn't you feel that the fate you said was too cruel to me. Fuck fate!” as Mike staggered.

Joe got a little closer and gently embraced the older brother to give his sister a backrest. he knew that right now the man needed support to get through his shattered days since getting a huge blow from Miki's death.

“Joe, stay away from me. I don't need you to entertain, because I'm fine.” Said Mike as if he didn't need a backrest.

“Alright hotshot, I'll let you go.” Joe said as he let go of his embrace.

After Joe let go of his embrace, Mike began to stand up from his chair and try to balance his body in front of his brother Joe while saying. “You, have you prepared a name for my nephew?” point Mike at Joe.

“Name?”

“Em..name of my nephew.” Answer Mike who was drunk.

“Mike, you don't need to think of a name for my future son, because Lucy has prepared a good name.”

“Em, Mike we go home now.” take Joe while supporting his brother's burly body.

“I don't want to go home now,” reject Mike.

“Of course you can reject me, but you can't refuse Lucy if she forces you.” Said Joe who managed to make Mike puff up at him.

“Em...he is in front of you right now.” Joe said as he threw his gaze at his wife. Likewise with Mike, he also stared in front of him where there was Lucy who stood with her distended stomach.

“Oh, my sister-in-law turns out to be here too.” Mike said in a drunken voice.

“Mike, go home now if you don't want me to embarrass you in the club tonight.” Threaten Lucy while holding her slightly distended stomach.

“Owh..calm down first, I'll come with you guys home now. Don't embarrass me here, later what my son will say if I've ever been embarrassed by his aunt.” Mike exclaimed with a smile on his face.

What Mike said made Lucy put tears in her eyelids. He was saddened by the words Mike said to him, because it reminded him of the figure of his younger brother Miki.

“Joe, quickly down he gets into the car now.” command Lucy.

Then Joe carried Mike's body to his car. After being in the car, Mike was lying in the back seat on his back. Joe and Lucy sit in the front seat.

“Miki,” said the unconscious Mike.

“Miki,”

Lucy and Joe look back at Mike who is staring. Every night they pick Mike up from the nightclub, and every night they hear Mike ringing Miki's name all the way home. I don't know what the man has been feeling for the past month, but surely this endless regret is still not over.

“How can I blame Miki's death on her, if she keeps going like this. There was no chance for me to be angry with him, he should have been able to live happily after causing Miki's death, but why did he instead suffer like this.” Lucy grumbled while looking at Mike who did not have the spirit of life anymore.

“Honey calm yes, do not let stress later harm the baby in your stomach.” Said Joe.

Lucy took a deep breath and then she exhaled back slowly. Lucy stopped talking to the unconscious person, then turned her body back forward while resuscitating her back comfortably on the back of the car seat.

As for Joe, he once took the time to turn to look back at the figure of his brother who was very chaotic. While driving Joe thought back, since the departure of Miki one month ago makes his brother Mike become like a robot who is crazy to work during the day, and at night his brother is like a man who lives in a nightclub.

Every night Mike would come and sleep at the nightclub after coming home from work. Miki's departure greatly affected Mike's life over the past month, a major change in a short period of time signaling the devastation Mike felt made his lifestyle change instantly.

The character was once very cold and calm and now the character has changed to be very different. Suddenly laughing to himself, suddenly moody, suddenly very terrible. His mood suddenly changed in a short time, but when he returned to his true character made everyone around him feel uncomfortable and frightened. The point is that the regret and sadness Mike is experiencing today changes his entire life.
