14. Rich Man

Before leaving I have to see Miki's situation first. Think Mike.

He turned towards Miki's room. He had to drive to the airport to get to the car.

Tok.dok. Mike knocked on Miki's room door, as before there was no reply from the woman. Mike had no time to wait for Miki to open the door. Mike called Bret Villa's waiter. “Mrs Bret,” cried Mike.

“Master called me?” bret who was in front of Mike.

“Mistress Bret I'm sending Miss Chloe to you. Make sure you take care of all her needs as long as I'm not around.” Mike glanced at his watch for a moment. “One more thing make sure he doesn't starve and if he comes out of his room tell me as soon as possible, Remember you have to take care of him as long as I'm not around.”

“Good sir I understand.” Answer Bret respectfully. Mike passed Bret. It was time for her to leave.

Passing through the main door, Mr. car and his secretary. Freddy's ready to wait for Mike. “Please enter Mr.” Mr. Fred opened the car door for Mike.

“Thank you Mr. Fred,” said Mike and got in his car. They left the Villa for New York to return to the Sea because there was an important meeting between the extended family.

“How much longer do we have to wait for Mike?” yell an old man. He seems to be very unhappy with Mike's attitude who arrives late at family gatherings.

The atmosphere became gripping because everyone in the room was no longer comfortable there.

“Some time Mike will come please be patient,” said Darwin calmly. The calm attitude that Darwin had described him as very generous.

Mr. Mike please come in. Said the waiter opening the door personally for Mike. Everyone in the room was puffed up to see Mike coming.

“How can anyone seem to be the company leader Sea,” said the middle-aged lung woman who behaved haughtily.

Everyone in this room hardly liked Mike. Only Darwin's father was so happy to see Mike come to this meeting. Mike sits next to Darwin who is the largest shareholder, and the second largest shareholder is Mike, therefore everyone who is in the room strongly dislikes the Sea family.

“Sorry Pa, Mike late.” Mike said to Darwin.

“It's okay. Papa knows if you're very busy.” Darwin curled his lips at Mike. All right let's start this meeting. Darwin opens the conversation.

During the meeting Mike's mind was not focused on the meeting. In his mind there was only Miki, he was worried about the state of the woman during her stay. Why didn't Madame Bret tell me either. Inner Mike.

The screen of the phone that since Mike had looked at there was no news from Bret. Sometimes her phone screen turns on but it's not Bret who gives it to her but Katie sends her a message. Mike had no idea what was really going on so the woman locked herself in the room continuously.

When he saw Joe sitting in front of him, it made Mike annoyed to see him. Mike's gaze made Joe cringe.

After the meeting was over, Joe approached Mike saying. “What's wrong with you?” Joe looked closely at his brother.

Mike ignored Joe, he was busy talking on his phone. “Mrs Bret has Miss Chloe eaten?” mike walked out of the meeting room. He was unattended without noticing around him.

Lucy who just came out of her room heard Mike talking on the phone. “What! Miss Chloe still won't come out of her room,” Mike raised his voice. “Has she eaten?” Ask Mike.

Lucy was right next to Mike. “Can repeat what you just said earlier,” pinta Lucy. Mike is surprised Lucy is beside him.

“Since when are you here?” ask Mike to Lucy.

Mike hung up his phone, and put on his serious face while facing each other with Lucy. “Lately Miki has been acting strangely,” Mike said.

“Be weird like what?” ask Lucy to shake her waist.

Mike gulped and then repeated his words. “ These two days Miki locked herself in the room without eating and drinking. Do you know why he suddenly acted like that?” ask Mike to Lucy.

Lucy's breathing was heavy, she was worried about Miki's current state. “Did he take his medicine regularly?” ask Lucy.

Mike was confused, he didn't know anything. What drugs Lucy meant. All this time he had never seen Miki take any medicine other than painkillers due to her fractured ribs. “Drug what do you mean?” mike asked confused.

“Didn't Mami tell you about Miki's state?” ask Lucy.

“Tell me what?” Mike asked Lucy. He really doesn't know at all.

Mami really didn't tell him about Miki's situation. Inner Lucy. “Actually Miki suffered from severe depression during this time. If Miki doesn't regularly take her medicine she'll have a hard time sleeping.” Lucy said that made Mike go awry.

“Depression.” Mike really could not believe if the woman he considered cheerful was suffering from severe depression.

“If he has locked himself up means there are things that trigger his Depression appears.” Lucy is convinced that something is making Miki feel depressed and worried about herself. “ Do you know what Miki has been doing lately? Or something physical?” related ask Lucy to Mike.

“Nothing,” answered Mike while remembering.

“Are you sure?” Lucy tried to convince Mike.

After trying to remember, Mike recalled the incident Miki almost died on the street because of a jerk. “Ah, I remember Miki being beaten up by someone jerk.” Mike said Lucy was surprised because she didn't know if her sister was being beat up.

“Is he okay?” ask Lucy to worry. Mike realizes that no one knows about Miki being beaten up.

“He's fine,” Mike's words a little make Lucy a little calmer. “Is it possible because the incident triggered his Depression?” ask Mike to Lucy.

“Maybe, but usually if Miki has a physical injury she will just not be able to sleep. There must be something else besides that that that makes Miki depressed.” said Lucy who knows very well, she knows her sister very well.

Mike loosened his tie, he really didn't know if Miki had any mental limitations. All this time he thought that the woman was just plain and shy. But the fact behind the innocence and the shyness is that there is such great suffering.

“What should I do?” ask Mike to Lucy.

“You should be able to persuade him to listen to you. Persuade her to get out of her worries.” Lucy tells Mike how to get Miki out of his depression. “What I'm worried about right now is that you can't make him out of his worry. It took so long for me and Mami to help him out of the Depression he was experiencing.”

Mike was perusing what Lucy said. Get used to helping Miki out of her current problem? What would happen to the woman if she was unable to persuade him? There were many things that Mike asked, none of which Mike could answer with certainty.
