Section 7: Daffa Plan

“You're aware?”

Daffa sat beside Rhea who had just regained consciousness. He was just quietly lying on the hospital bench after the terrible incident with Devian two days ago. As planned, Rhea's memory has been drained. Doctors said he had amnesia due to a wound to his head. Now only the law enforcement is trying to straighten the situation.

“Master Devian declared missing. I've put him on the wanted list. And Miss's marriage to Mr. Devian has been legally annulled.” Clearly the lawyer to Daffa who seemed to show a face full of worry.

“How could he be so cruel. They haven't even been married for a week and our lady is already in such bad shape.” His connections were immediately understood by Daffa.

“This marriage is due to wills is not it?” asked Daffa who immediately made Rhea's law enforcement dumbfounded.

“Yes? Oh right Sir.”

“What is the contents of his will?”

“It.. anu..” Mr. Albert as Rhea's attorney immediately rushed to issue all legal documents belonging to Rhea which he had previously brought to undergo judicial legal proceedings.

“Mendiang our master wants the lady to marry the son of her best friend to be able to inherit the family company.”

“Alright, then let me take his place.” Said Daffa which immediately made the lawyer dumbfounded.

“Ya sir? What do you mean exactly?” Albert dumbfounded.

“I or Devian are the same. We are both heirs and successors of this business. Especially with yesterday's circumstances, our family's attorney has removed Devian from the heir's name. That's the only sign I have left. Wasn't that a good decision?” nego Daffa who can no longer be rejected by the lawyer.

“Solve everything well. I want to replace all his bad memories of marriage with good and pleasant memories.” Daffa said.

Albert nodded and immediately carried out all Daffa's orders including taking care of all his legal documents to replace Devian in the company.

Albert was not technically Aziel's only lawyer. He was also one of the team members trusted by Daffa and Devian's biological father to carry out all legal procedures of his company. It is natural that Albert was so afraid of the presence of Daffa that felt stronger than Devian's sister.

“Wah, he did inherit the whole nature of his father.” Albert murmured as he stepped out to continue all the orders of his young master.

“What happened to me? Who the hell are you? Do you know me?” lirih Rhea who sounded panicked, but was still in a semi-conscious state.

“Rest first, your condition has not recovered. You're still under the influence of drugs. It's only natural that you feel your eyes are so heavy. Make it a break, I will continue to accompany you here.” Rhea subconsciously complied and closed her eyes again.

Three months later…

A lavish wedding party was held to celebrate the inauguration of the relationship between Daffa and Rhea. Unlike the party with Devian which is only done between family and colleagues, the party with Daffa this time is held as luxurious as possible complete with live broadcasts from several national media.

They close Rhea and Devian's marriage to the case of the KDRT who somehow managed to find a bright spot thanks to concrete evidence in the form of surveillance camera footage that looks so clear. It was as if the camera was intended to record all these events.

All evidence of his actions was also exposed to the media. Evidence of his murder and fraud inside the company. Devian is set to become a national and international fugitive thanks to the extradition policy that has been implemented.

All the stories change in just three times twenty-four hours and make Devian an unrivalled high-class villain.

“I feel guilty for all my sister's attitude towards you.” Daffa told his bride Rhea on the first night of their marriage.

“You don't have to apologize. I can't even remember anything from marriage to your sister.”

“You really don't remember anything? Though all your words could be evidence to incriminate Devian in court later.” Rhea shook her head weakly.

Daffa never thought that his passing over the past ten years could cause so much trouble in his family as well as Devian. The death of Aziel, and the appearance of Rhea alone was already an oddity in itself.  Especially with Devian's married life that has just been exposed to the public.

"I've heard several times that Devian is still calling you." between one of them.

"I left after finishing my High School graduation. I never came back after that, not even I was told of my father's death." Daffa astonished everyone with his words.

"But Devian said that he lived in that house with you" said one of the elders. " You've been missing ever since."

"Yes right, I bought it from my mother's money. I asked him to look after the house for me if I came back. You can find all the copies of the act in my name." Daffa showed all evidence of his ownership of the recently destroyed land and buildings.

Everyone agrees to rebuild it if it proves to be a family asset. The sudden appearance of Daffa seemed to give a green light to the elders that he was the person they had been waiting for to continue Adya Utama.

"The most important thing now is that you can go back and continue your father's legacy, son." continued Adriana, Daffa's birth mother, who was eager for her son to ascend to the throne.

Given the position of Daffa who is the only biological child left from Adya Utama or AR Group. Adriana knew exactly that no one could replace Daffa anymore. Especially Devian the mistress. "He has even disappeared with his building and is designated an international fugitive today." Adriana squealing.

"Stop mom! My sister could have been a victim just like Rhea. We can't ignore all the possibilities." Adriana speechless.

Daffa still has power and even everything he holds has grown far faster than what Devian has developed over the years.

“I'm sorry before, but I once accidentally checked your phone when you were unconscious. Some say that your husband has a psychiatric disorder.” asked Daffa doubtfully. Now only the two of them live in the bridal room that has been prepared by the WO for them.

“Sorry, but I really can't remember anything. I just remember what Uncle Albert said to me in the hospital. One of them was about my reality as the heir who had just been revealed after my father's death. Uncle never even talked about marriage before.” Clearly Rhea felt guilty.

"I understand. If it's so bad for you, then forget it! My goal is to turn all your bad memories into happiness" Daffa said sincerely.

All of this continues so normally. Everyone was impressed as if Daffa had never been involved in anything. But if it's true, then why all those problems could be so related to him. And that rotting corpse, I don't know what really happened and how the chronology happened, there was never a bright spot leading up to it.

“Tua wants you back Young Master. You've been gone too long, it's time you took your place back.” Said Steve assistant personal Daffa who always faithfully accompanied him.

Daffa was sitting in one of his apartment rooms with a glass of wine in his hand. He looked up at the ceiling of Paris where there was the beauty of Eiffel that was plastered so real behind the window of his room.

“What do you think they mean by wanting me back? They never introduced me to the public, so what's going on now? Isn't it so weird.”

“This is an incident report that I have summarized since your departure one year ago mr.”  Steve handed over his tablet and gave it to Daffa.

“My sister suffers from a mental disorder? Isn't that too cliche a reason to get rid of him? Everyone knows it, he has experienced it since we were very young. Why bring it back now?” Daffa smiled cynically as soon as he saw what was in his hands.

He is a core descendant of one of the major companies that co-founded his father's AR Group. Indirectly AR is only a subsidiary of Media Naratama. But behind him AR has been supported by a large company and the company is owned by Grandpa Daffa. ' Adya Utama'

“Your grandfather wants you to take over AR and make it part of the family company.”

“I guessed it, or he wouldn't dirty his hands to hurt Devian so far.” Daffa smiled cynically.

“Alright, let's see how Adya Utama can be something big under my leadership.” Daffa murmured meaningfully.

According to his instructions, Steve immediately booked a fast flight to the country. Daffa has been notified of all his scenarios during the trip. So it was not difficult for him to continue his dialogue once it came before Rhea.

“So this girl is worth trillions of dollars? It was only natural that they fought each other to get it. You are so stupid, for having wasted it my brother.” Daffa stared at Devian's photo with a meaningful implied look.
