Rheas
Part 24: Dean

"He's been operated on. It's a tough operation, who did it?" antonio arrived at the hospital six hours after the bombing.

"Difficult dad, she's pregnant. It would be very dangerous for him to accept the current anesthesia. You need an obstetrician to handle it, don't you?" a sly grin of a young man expands.

He appeared before Antonio in his proud doctor's suit..

"De.de.dean..dean.." cried Shahnaz trembling.

"Welcome back to Mom." The smiles of the two couples grew.

"He's our greatest surgeon. He was also a great obstetrician at a young age." proud of the head of the hospital in front of Riggle's partner.

"We want to talk to you both." Antonio pulled the young man into an emergency room connecting the operating room and the doctor's room.

"How come? Daffa says you're gone." Antonio trembled.

"Well, what do you do when you hear your son is gone? You're even so flattering your son-in-law" she used to.

It was Keenan Andrean. The Riggle couple used to call him Dean. But for Rhea he was Keenan. The figure of an older brother that he rarely met except in his private time with his adoptive parents.

"Rhea saw me just before the operation. He was half conscious at the time. But I'm sure he won't break it. She loves her brother so much." Dean said proudly.

"How come? Then who's missing?"

"My friend. Name's Keenan. Keenan Senjana's. He was the greatest spy until his last."

Shahnaz and Antonio were shaking. Keenan was even more savage than Devian. But his affection for Rhea was never false. He always thought of the girl as his little baby.

"I'm not going to bother her husband. If he gives himself up." Dean's sentence hangs.

"They love each other, don't they?" Antonio and Shahnaz are still petrified.

"He'll stay safe while my sister's unharmed. You guys just calm down." Dean walked back haughtily towards Rhea's room. He was very curious about the reaction of his brother-in-law when he saw his sister injured.

"Could this be an interesting spectacle?" curious muttered.

And sure enough, Daffa was crying roaring when he got there.

"He is pregnant. I don't want to risk the baby. I've done a safe procedure." Dean said.

It does look whimper. Especially because of the same age as Daffa, making him no longer use formal language when talking to his new sister-in-law.

"How's the doctor doing?" ask Daffa sobbing.

"The age of its contents had just stepped on the twentieth day. Still too vulnerable, I hope he soon realized or if not we are forced to install a variety of tools to stimulate the development of the baby. Even though his body is no longer alive."

"What do you mean doctor?" shouted Daffa screwed up.

"He is in a coma. But it would have been worse if the operation had never been done" he explained.

"Save him doctor, please." Daffa grabbed Dean's doctor's coat and knelt before him.

"I'll do it as best I can. I promised sister-in-law." Daffa gasped with Dean's words this time.

"Sister-in-law?" sanya hangs.

Luckily Antonio and Syahnaz came early. Daffa never knew what their son looked like. He only knew that the Devian victim was named Keenan and that maybe it was the same person as their son.

"I allowed it because they had the same last name. This is Doctor Dean Riggle the best young doctor in our hospital" explained the hospital director who had been there for some time.

Dean nodded. He promises Daffa to save Rhea and her baby as best he can.

"My sister would lose her sanity if she knew the baby was dead. She's also a doctor, we can't hide her pregnancy scars when she wakes up and lies that she never conceived. That's why I was forced to take swift action." explained Dean who immediately understood Daffa.

It is very important for patients who are in a coma to receive a conscious response. Therefore, Dean asked his parents and Daffa to continue to accompany Rhea and continue to invite him to communicate.

He did the same. Since the operation on Rhea was successful, he canceled all his schedules and focused on his sister.

"He is my life Daf. You'd rather kill me than see him helpless like this. He is the strongest among us." - Dean.

"We?"

"Our father adopted some foster kids, you know that. Even you're one of them." Dean explained without trying to fish.

"He's the greatest doctor, I'm sure he'll recover soon." Dean patted Daffa on the shoulder to strengthen him.

"Rest! I'll replace you. We both can't be weak to protect her." Daffa according.

He threw himself on the sofa in the corner of Rhea's room. While Dean took turns to keep it from behind the visitor's seat that was beside Rhea's bed.

"So don't know you're strong, baby. Get up, there's a little creature waiting for you to survive." Dean said sincerely.

He caressed Rhea's flat stomach.

"Hold Son. Uncle will take care of you." he whispered there.

Daffa smiled warmly in the midst of his misery. There were so many people who loved Rhea around her. He was very lucky, it really did reduce his worries a little.

Same with Riggle. Besides worrying about Dean's identity being exposed, they're not worried about anything else.

It has been almost two weeks, but Daffa's members have not managed to find a bright spot about Rhea's accident.

The whole country is concerned about the recent condition of their goddess Shana Riggle. The whole earth is vying for the good of Shana in their prayers.

"Even the attention of the world was never able to protect you my sister. They attacked you blatantly. I promise to finish them off for you, Rhe. So quickly realize! Think of your baby." whispered Dean in his sister's ear.

Dean's phone rang at the same time as Daffa's arrival who had just returned from the hospital cafeteria to buy coffee.

"Sister-in-law, do you want to hear it?" Daffa looked at him in wonder.

Dean picked up the phone and activated speaker mode on his call.

We managed to catch him, sir, said the man across the phone.

"Who?" ask Daffa in wonder.

"The bombing man. You wanna handle it? If my men don't make a mistake, he'll be at Naratama's dark base right now."

Daffa immediately rushed with his men and set off towards the place Dean meant. An hour later, he got word from his man that Dean had shot the man with his own gun blindly.

"You've proven your loyalty brother-in-law. But you forgot to question the man behind it." Dean sneered.

Dean has gotten the details from his informant. He knows exactly who his target is this time.
