Replacement Liver Driver
Chapter 43. Trying to Rise

Two weeks later ....

That morning Rama was staring at the wife who was busy with her work at the dinner table. He watches Pradha's movements every second. The woman in front of him had never greeted him first since the bank bill incident was received.

Finally, Rama decided to end this war first. Rama cleared a few times. He took a deep breath, then exhaled it violently.

"Dha, I know I was wrong. But please don't punish me like this. We still need communication to maintain this relationship." Rama tried to persuade Pradha because it had been two weeks the wife did not invite him to talk.

Pradha is still tight-lipped. Now he was wrapping some mixed rice ordered by the neighbors. Economic conditions are almost paralyzed, making Pradha difficult to get a job.

The woman finally decided to continue the mixed rice business. Rama has also contacted the bank to ask for credit payment waivers. Fortunately, the bank agreed because it was not possible conditions.

"Dha, please don't keep going like this. I'm really sorry."

Pradha began to stop his activities. He looked coldly at his husband. Shortly afterwards Pradha offered a plastic bag that already contained several packs of mixed rice.

"Not a lot of talk! Now take this order to Miss Kadek's house."

Rama's heart seemed to be doused with ice water after hearing the wife want to talk to him again. Although Pradha still spoke in a cold tone, at least she had started to be able to communicate.

Without waiting any longer, Rama snatched the plastic bag from his wife's hand. He immediately went out of the house and drove a motor to the house of Mrs Kadek. After Rama left the house, Pradha smiled amusedly.

Actually Pradha had forgiven Rama after knowing his business applying for credit payment waivers. However, Pradha but act cold to give a deterrent effect to the husband.

"The death rate from the plague is starting to fall. Citizens are encouraged to remain vigilant and carry out activities according to health protocols. The government announced that Bali was re-opened to the public."

The voice of the news anchor on the television screen echoed in Pradha's living room. He smiled faintly as he rubbed the sleeping top of Naka's head. The woman could breathe a little.

After more than two months of hanging out with selling, Pradha can again try to find a more promising job. He started calling one by one his friends. Pradha hopes to get a job from them.

Pradha immediately got off the couch and put Naka to sleep in her room. Just after Pradha finished enveloping her son, there was the sound of a bell clanking. He immediately got out of the room and opened the door.

How shocked Pradha when she found Ken was in plain sight. The guy looks tangled. His hair looks long and a thin mustache puffs the area under his nose.

"Pradha," call Ken in a desperate voice.

"You're doing this!" exclamation Pradha.

"I .. miss you ...." Ken immediately hugged Pradha's body.

Pradha continues to rebel. However, Ken's embrace is getting tighter. Tears began to come out of the corner of her eyes.

Since the plague hit Bali, Ken and Reya return to Japan. The hotel entrusted to Ken to run was forced to cease operations.

"Depart, Ken!" exclaim Pradha as she pushes Ken's chest.

"Sorry, I just ...." Ken's words hang in the air. The man started rubbing his nape and stared at the end of the shoe that was wrapping his feet.

"You better leave now before my husband comes home!" usir Pradha's.

"Dha, can I talk to you for a second? I wanted to reveal something a long time ago."

Pradha frowned when she heard Ken's words. He folded his arms in front of his chest while staring intently at the man in front of him. Ken took a deep breath, then exhaled slowly.

"Actually I ...."

Pradha was initially lazy to hear what Ken was about to say. However, a second later Pradha's eyes were perfectly rounded. He closed his lips and stared in disbelief at the man in front of him.
