Replacement Liver Driver

Replacement Liver Driver
Chapter 41. Contradistinction

"What's wrong with you, Dha?" Rama summed up Pradha's face and wiped the tears that were dripping down her cheek with the tip of her thumb.

"Hospitals are asking us to pay the surgery bill immediately" Pradha said among sobs.

"Patience first, huh? We'll definitely get the money.” Rama took his fingers off the cheek of his wife, then clasped Pradha's hand.

“Can I sell your house? Sell the villa, honey. That place could make more money than it sells now."

"Sell no pa-pa, brother. The important thing is we can get the money right away." Pradha immediately agreed to the husband's proposal while wiping away tears.

Rama's heart was so painful to see his wife crying as she pleased. He felt guilty for making Pradha cry. Rama considers himself to have failed to make Pradha happy.

"You don't have to sell that house!" exclaiming Reya who was behind the two with Ken.

"Reya! Why are you home?"

Reya half ran to Pradha, then hugged her best friend. He rubbed the woman's back. Pradha releases her embrace, then holds Reya's upper arm.

"Aren't you just going home later this month, huh? How can ...." Pradha's speech stopped because it was cut by Reya.

"Dha, we've been friends for a long time. Why is it that when there's trouble, you don't want to tell me?" Reya now summarized the face of the friend while looking at him gently.

"Th-that ...." Pradha bowed lethargic.

Pradha does not want to tell his present condition to friends not out of shame. She preferred to be quiet, as she did not want to make Reya worry. He knew very well Reya's attitude.

Although the two are friendly, now they have their own lives. It would be inappropriate if everything that Pradha experienced was told to Reya. He did not want to burden the mind of his best friend.

"How short is it? I'll pay it for you."

"No, Reya. We ...."

"I don't accept rejection! Come on, honey, let's go to the administration!" take Reya to her husband.

The two joined hands towards the administration room, and Pradha tailed behind them. Arriving at the payment counter, Ken immediately handed his debit card to his wife. Reya also mentioned Nakastra's name and officers began inserting the card into the EDC machine.

"Please enter the PIN number, ma'am."

Reya started pressing the button on the EDC machine. Shortly thereafter, a receipt of proof of payment was released. After they finished the payment, the three walked casually towards Nakastra's nursery.

"Sorry to trouble you, Reya. I'll replace it as soon as my house sells."

"Hey, Stupid! I said not to think about it! Let's just say this is a gift from me because you haven't seen your son since birth."

"But ...."

"No buts!" Suddenly Reya stopped her steps, then folded her arms in front of her chest.

"I don't accept rejection! Understood?"

Pradha smiled faintly. His eyes began to glaze over. He feels very lucky to have a friend like Reya, who is always there in times of distress.

From that day on, Ken visited Nakastra every day. He keeps coming, even though Reya doesn't participate. Familiarity is also established between Naka and Ken.

"Don't you want this?" ken asked while giving a bottle of chocolate milk to Nakastra.

"This ... drink it slowly, huh?" Ken put the straw in the bottle, then gave the milk to Nakastra.

Without waiting any longer, Naka immediately grabbed the milk bottle. The boy immediately sucked the brown liquid, swinging his legs. Ken smiled broadly at Naka who was enjoying the milk.

"She, Mother ...." Pradha's words hung in the air as she opened the door.

Slowly he stepped in and closed the door slowly. Seeing Nakastra want to drink milk made Pradha astonished. His son was most difficult if asked to drink milk. So what he saw at this moment made Pradha's eyebrows intertwined.

Ken turned his head towards Pradha, and he lowered his head in greeting. The woman walked over to Naka. Ken got up from the chair so that his wife's best friend could sit there.

"Sister, thank you for accompanying Naka. Even bother bringing food." Pradha smiled thinly almost invisibly.

"No problem, I came here because I was asked by Reya."

Although still not fluent in Indonesian, Ken really understands Pradha's speech. Ken has lived in Indonesia for several months. He easily learned the language because he had a high IQ.

"Next time, Brother don't come here without Reya. I'm not feeling good." Pradha tried to express the indecision of the heart that she had saved these few days.

Pradha is uncomfortable because Ken keeps coming to Nakastra even without Reya. Pradha doesn't know what Ken really means. However, he also could not ask directly for fear that his best friend's husband was offended.

"Ah, it's okay. Just relax," said Ken lightly with a big smile.

"I can't relax!" said Rama who had entered the room where Naka was treated.

Ken and Pradha spntak turned their heads towards the source of the sound. Rama was already standing leaning against the door, throwing a sharp glare at Ken.

"Let's talk outside!" bring Rama.

Ken immediately followed Rama's steps to get out of the ward. They decided to chat in the corridor of the ward. The two sat in a long chair that was placed in front of the ward to relax.

"Ken, I really appreciate your goodwill. I also thank you very much for the help you gave us." Rama looked seriously at the oriental-faced man before him.

"But, please don't get too close to Naka. I don't like him as a father. I don't want Naka to slowly get along with you beyond me."

"Ah, I'm just running Reya's request. I didn't mean ...." Keen's words hung in the air.

"I know Reya never told you to! He never even knew that you were always here on the sidelines of the break." Rama's words make Ken mute.

The man did not know that Rama knew everything. Ken exhaled a rough breath. He pulled out his hair and smiled wryly.

"I've wanted a child for a long time. That's why I like it when I see Naka. So, I come here more often to be able to keep seeing her."

"What is it that visiting Naka often will make you have children sooner?"

"Yes .. not so, Rama. I'm ...."

"Easy! From today on, don't ever see my son again without Reya. I don't like." Rama again cuts off Ken's words.

The man got up from the chair and then stepped into the son's room. After the sound of the door closing, Ken clenched his fingers. His jaw hardened until it displayed bluish veins in the eye area.

"I must stay close to him!"
