(Lee POV)
When Ren got into the barn.
After feeling my punch, James smiled and tried to get up.
She insinuates.
"It seems you really don't know the meaning of the word joke huh?"
"Your current state is not very appropriate to do a joke."
Hearing my reply, he laughed out loud. Fortunately, the building that Ren entered used a silencer. So, I don't need to be afraid to speak anything as loudly as possible. But, this matter can also be a double-edged sword to our side.
In a sense, Ren had no idea how conditions existed outside. Likewise with me, I also do not know how Ren's condition when he was in the building. Right now I can only hand over the guard to my trusted snipers.
Going back to my current affairs, I asked James for something in accordance with our agreement.
That is information.
...
Back again when Netra members met James.
I was also present, though from afar and only my voice.
The thing I gave each of the Netra members was a connecting device in order to communicate with James. Even James's moves were my plan. Not to forget, I was also the one who leaked the information of Netra members to James.
As the meeting progressed, James introduced himself.
"I'm James Wallters. Those of you present here, your identity is already known as a member of Netra. If you want Netra's secrecy to be safe, follow my orders."
Everyone present was silent while waiting.
Feeling annoyed at waiting too long, I immediately spoke.
"Don't linger, just tell me what your plan is."
James's face was shocked to hear my voice coming out from the various tools carried by each of the Netra members. Even though we knew each other, he still pretended to be my enemy. Acting like a criminal, he explains his plan.
"I want you to help me to surround two people, they are Lee Jun and Ren Gill."
Actually, right now I want to laugh because the target is the one who is listening to this talk from afar. Despite just pretending, he still performed his role very well. I think James is more talented to be an actor than a leader.
Everyone there was silent.
James continued his words.
"Be quiet I take it as a sign of understanding."
After that, he handed out a sheet to each person. He threatened them not to divulge the contents of the shared sheet and after all was done, he dissolved the meeting. Lastly, at my request there was a member of Netra pretending to accidentally leave the tool he was carrying.
After James made sure they all went home, he spoke to me through the device.
"Not yet."
I continued the instructions to James as planned.
"Tomorrow you will fight with us, give up all your abilities don't try to budge. You will feel tremendous pain if you give up because there are monsters more terrible than me. If you pass out on the spot, I'll take care of the rest."
"I understand."
James accepted without protest.
...
Back to this moment.
James asked with curiosity and doubt.
"Are you sure that kid can change the world?"
I answered all James' doubts with complete confidence.
"I'm sure he's the only one who can change what should have happened in the past."
"Why are you so sure?"
"Because he's my best friend and also, he's the only one with the broadest mind to change this world system."
While sitting, James looked at me sharply.
"How far have you planned?"
"Just get here, the rest depends on the information you give."
"I understand."
The exchange of information between us began.
According to James, in his mission to follow my orders spying on Felix's movements it was still the beginning. There were still illegitimate members of the Han family left, arguably he was desperate for Ren's death. In fact, Felix was just a puppet to him.
After getting that information, I decided to house James in the Jun family.
"Thank you very much for your help, with this you will be protected in the Jun Family territory."
James accepted without protest.
"All right, I accept. Besides, I don't have anywhere else to hide."
With this, I get very valuable information.
The rest, how am I supposed to trace their whereabouts? Maybe, I'll think about it later. For now, I will have fun enjoying my youth. If the time has come, ready or not, I will finish everything.
That is my promise to him.
