Reincarnation Hero Become Villain's
Chapter 3 - The Chosen One

"G ...."

Reynald opened his eyes slowly. His sight was blurred and slowly began to clear.

"Where ... is this?"

"Relys!" said Lacheln who suddenly appeared on Reynald's face.

"Lacheln, where is this?" ask Reynald who's trying to get up.

"In your room, Yebe said you fainted after expelling an incredible amount of magic energy."

Lacheln's words gave Reynald a slight headache and then remembered him giving off a very powerful magic laser.

"Ah, did my words make you sick again?" ask Lacheln worried.

"Ti-no. Oh yeah, I was asked to meet the village chief, can you take me to see him?"

Lacheln helped Reynald walk by holding his hand and embracing him. When the two left the house, Reynald was shocked by the four soldiers who greeted him.

"Good day, Miss Lacheln. Is he a kid named Reynald?" ask a soldier.

Lacheln answered "Yes." The soldier then asked Lacheln for permission so that he and the other soldiers would escort Reynald and Lacheln to the village chief's residence. Lacheln asked Reynald, "Do you mind?"

Reynald who was a little dreamy, was a little surprised to hear Lacheln's question. "Ah, I don't mind ...."

Lacheln felt Reynald was hiding something. However, he who knew Reynald's condition was not good and respected Reynald's privacy, did not heed his curiosity.

The two walked in escorted by four soldiers, looked at by the citizens with faces full of questions but also admiration.

"Reynald, you're so cool! Can walk escorted by soldiers!" said a man.

"Yes, and Lacheln, you're like a couple, you know!" said a woman.

The woman's words made Lacheln's face reddened and slightly swooped to hide her shy face from Reynald. Reynald just smiled and chuckled at Lacheln's funny behavior.

"It's here" said a soldier.

Reynald and Lacheln looked ahead.

The two climbed a small rung into the village chief's residence. The door was knocked by a soldier. The door was opened by the other soldiers. The soldier who opened the door pulled over and invited Reynald and Lacheln to enter.

Inside the residence of the village chief, precisely in the living room, the village chief was sitting opposite a man who had an iron armor more magnificent than the other soldiers. Dressed in a red robe with golden symbols and escorted by two warriors who stood beside his seat.

"Oh, Lacheln, Reynald," said the Village Chief.

The robed man looked towards the Village Chief looking. He stood up and introduced himself.

"Sorry for the inconvenience. My name is Grant Lanza Soldado, I am a representative of the Kingdom of Erdovate." Grant put his right hand on his left chest.

Reynald took off Lacheln's grip.

"Sorry for the delay in my arrival. My name is Reynald, Sonne Reynald Einzel. If you can tell, what needs are there until you bother to intervene to meet me?" Reynald bowed slightly by putting his right hand on his left chest.

The polite and straightforward introduction to Reynald's main point took Grant by surprise.

"What makes you say 'hands down'?"

"The "robe you wear is no ordinary robe. I don't know your true position, but the charisma you put out, how the soldiers are ready to sacrifice their lives to take care of you, explains it all."

Reynald's explanation left everyone in the room shocked.

"Truly a unique child, hahaha," Grant said, holding his chin and laughing. He then lowered his left hand and placed his right hand on his left chest. "Let me introduce myself again. My name is Grant Lanza Soldado, War General of the Erdovate Kingdom."

The word "war general" made Reynald a little surprised.

"I'm sorry for my impoliteness" said Reynald, bowing slightly and placing his right hand on his left chest.

"It doesn't have to be so formal, come here. Sit down first."

Reynald straightened his body and nodded as he said, "Happy."

"Well, Grandpa," answered the friendly Lacheln who then went to the kitchen.

Reynald sat next to the Village Chief, opposite Grant.

"With your cleverness in recognizing me, I don't think I need to explain at length."

Reynald watched carefully.

"You're not from this world, are you?"

Grant's words surprised Reynald. Both of his eyes widened to a slight glare in disbelief.

"The expression, proves that my words are true. You don't have to hide it because it's what's written in your life's destiny."

"You mean?"

"You are the one sent by God to us, to this world to be the one who brings peace to this world. You."

"... Is it because of the power I put out just now?"

"So? Oh, maybe you mean two days ago. Yes, we know it from the magic power you unleashed back then."

*Two days? I fainted that long? inner Reynald.

"Therefore, I was sent to come to this village. I'm being asked to take you and train you. Your power is like a weapon of mass destruction. Had it not been honed by the right people, your strength could have destroyed everything. Keep in mind, you're lucky enough to release your energy into the sky."

"If not, then I will kill everyone in this village?"

"Frightly so."

From behind the wall, Lacheln who was carrying a tray with tea for Reynald on it trembled. He who accidentally eavesdropped on Reynald's great power was terrified. Not afraid of Reynald's great power, but afraid to part with Reynald.

"Excuse me" said Lacheln, who had tried to hide her concerns. He then put Reynald tea on the table.

"Thank you" said Reynald.

"Together," Lacheln replied smilingly.

Reynald noticed Lacheln's fake smile. However, he could guess the reason.

Lacheln again said, "Excuse me, apologize for interrupting" and went from the living room to the kitchen.

In the kitchen, Lacheln immediately hugged her mother who was cooking. Her mother who understood why Lacheln was crying, hugged and stroked her daughter warmly.

"A friendly and beautiful woman" Grant said.

"Yes, I agree" Reynald replied.

The mood was silent for a moment. Reynald thought about what he should do. He is always met with the word "How am I .." and other bad ending.

"Son Reynald, if it is your destiny, then do it. Don't let doubt haunt your decision." said the Village Chief.

The Village Chief's advice made Reynald's mind clear again. All the doubts he had in his mind disappeared instantly. He smiled gently and remembered the figure of his grandfather who always gave him advice.

"Thank you, Grandpa."

"Oh, I dare call you grandpa apparently. Does that mean you're going to marry my granddaughter?"

"Ah, that's not what I mean ...."

The two of them looked at each other, and the laughter broke out. Reynald who had stopped laughing looked towards Grant.

"I'm sorry to keep you waiting, General."

"So, what's your answer?" ask Grant with a confident smile.

"Yes, I'll be happy to come with you."
