Reincarnation Hero Become Villain's

Reincarnation Hero Become Villain's
Chapter 18 - Trying to Rise

Reynald slumped on the edge of a rocky hill. His body was drenched in blood, his head facing the ground, with both hands and a limp body helpless.

Looking at the battered Reynald, the fighting spirit of the alliance army decreased as fast as the meteor that fell to earth.

The only hope, has been defeated. If the Kraken figure alone makes them tremble in fear, then how can they face a figure that even makes the Kraken like a kitten?

Prang .... A soldier dropped his shield and sword. Fidel looked at the soldier with an unacceptable look. Prang .... Again the sound of shields and swords being dropped was heard.

One by one the soldiers began to drop their weapons. In fact, the archers did the same thing. The kings saw the mental fall of the soldiers very upset, but they understood very well why the mental and fighting spirit of the soldiers could be destroyed.

"Is there no other way?!" said irritated Queen Cleo bit her finger. "The figure ... he's completely beyond human common sense!"

The sound of weapons being dropped is becoming more and more. Fidel looked around like a little boy whose favorite balloon had been broken. His heart was broken, seeing the soldiers he had admired before, now looked like fallen flowers.

No. .. You can't do this! You're a soldier, you! You are the sword and shield of the people! If you drop your weapons ... then ... then who will protect them?! fidel was too disappointed. He clenched his hands together so tightly that his palms were wound in the shape of the tip of his fingernails.

He then looked towards Grant, the figure who became his teacher. Grant's body trembled. Cold sweat was flowing down his body. He's really exhausted. Physical and mental.

"Teacher ...."

Fidel wanted to cry. He's not strong anymore. He felt that what he had fought for was in vain. The vanguard had him breakthrough with all his might along with his teacher. However, the appearance of the Kraken seemed to say that the hundreds of demon soldiers he had broken through earlier were only the starting gate of his defeat..

Then, the figure he respected and admired the most, lay helplessly covered with blood. He can't be anything. Distance is too far, then, if he goes there he can what? All the negative thoughts continued to fill his head.

"Calm down, Fidel. At any time, I will not give up" said Grant, who knew Fidel's feelings and held Fidel's head with his left hand.

Grant's soft words amid the harshness of the battlefield made Fidel again find a glimmer of hope in the darkness of the cave of despair. Even if it was just a glimmer, but it was more than enough. At least, he knew that he was not alone in this battle.

Fidel wiped his tears with his right hand.

Where the kings stood, King Orgulla seemed to be thinking very seriously. He really had to rack his brain, looking for a way for the soldiers to be able to raise their weapons back. He knew that it would be a waste of energy if he thought of a way to help Reynald. Because he knew, the only way to help Reynald, was to not interfere in his affairs.

He could only trust Reynald.

King Orgulla clenched his hand. King Erdovarte saw King Orgulla struggling to find a way out, as well as King Calma and Queen Cleo.

King Erdovarte then looked down, at his desperate soldiers.

**Additional information: **where kings and higher-ups stand on a cliff face to face with the port/sea.

He held his hands together behind his waist.

"The Reverend Kings .." said King Erdovarte.

The kings looked towards King Erdovarte.

"Look at the eyes of our soldiers."

The kings looked at the soldiers.

"What are you guys looking at?"

"Depression, helplessness, destruction" answered King Calma.

King Calma's words were like desperate to make Queen Cleo ride apoplexy. "Maybe your soldiers are, but not my soldiers!" queen Cleo's objection was unacceptable.

He then looked to his soldiers with great optimism. However, his expectations were too high to make him want to kill himself. The fighting spirit of King Calma and Queen Cleo began to decline, even they had kneeled in despair.

"No. .. that is not what His Majesty Erdovarte meant," said King Orgulla who had just realized the intention of King Erdovarte.

King Calma and Queen Cleo looked towards King Orgulla.

"Look again, better!"

King Calma and Queen Cleo looked again at the alliance army, but this time their expectations were not too high. They just wanted to find out what the King of Orgulla meant.

And, they found it. The eyes still believe in what is called victory. Eyes that are not inferior to the lunge of the waves of defeat. Eyes that seemed to say, "I'm still here. I will continue to fight until I win!"

A little, just a little. Those who had those eyes were few. In fact, none of Die Acht Viende except Fidel had that eye-light.

Then who are they?

They were soldiers who knew the name of death. They were soldiers who knew what they were protecting. They are the soldiers who know the importance of victory. They are soldiers, who believe in their leaders.

"Alessandro, Casimiro, Edmundo .." said the King of Calma who recognized his soldiers who had "the eye".

"Jabari, Berenike, Khepri .." said Queen Cleo who recognized her soldiers who had "the eye".

"The saying goes that in the most difficult times, the best people appear. Apparently, the saying is true" said King Erdovarte who then smiled broadly to close his eyes.

"Confiar!" call King Calma.

"Gather an army that can still fight, then follow me!" king Calma.

"Where are you going, Your Majesty ...?" ask Confiar.

"Down to the battlefield." King Calma stood up, tidied up and cleaned his clothes.

The words of King Calma made the kings and higher-ups shiver. The figure who had been passive, hesitant, now also had "the eye".

"But, Your Majesty!" reply Confiar.

"Calm down, Confiar, I will accompany him" said King Orgulla glancing at Confiar.

Confiar is confused as to what to respond to. The risk of letting the two kings descend directly into the battleground that 99% of his soldiers had mentally destroyed, was very, very risky.

"What do you doubt, Confiar? Three .. no, four kings have made their decision and you still don't want to obey?" queen Cleo stood up again.

"Four ...?" Confiar looked towards King Erdovarte.

King Erdovarte replied with a smile.

Confiar can no longer be avoided. He can only obey what the leaders have decided. He knelt with his right hand on his left chest.

"Alright, I will collect soon," said Confiar who is actually heart-pounding. But on one hand, he was happy. Because what the kings did, was what was their last hope.

That was the only reason why he had not fallen like the soldiers and the other higher-ups.

The kings rode their horses. Their very strong charisma they put out. Had they been on an ordinary battleground, then the morale of the soldiers would have increased greatly.

Confiar leads with his horse in front, followed by the kings from behind. The horse entered the battle field.

"Master Confiar, you just focus on what's ahead, we'll escort the Kings from behind!" said someone who suddenly appeared from behind.

Confiar knows that voice well.

"Felipe, Guinan .. yes, I entrust the back side to you!"

"Thank you, Mr. Confiar!" felipe and Guinan answered compactly.

Horses are driven faster. The deeper they enter the battlefield, the more they encounter people who still have the fighting spirit to fight.

Originally there were only five people, now there were thirteen. The journey to the vanguard of the alliance army was not smooth. They were several times inhibited by the demons who for some reason did not attack the soldiers who had been desperate.

The demon soldiers had far more numbers than the king's army (thirteen people who could still fight), making the king's army step by step slowing down even more. Until finally, the army of the kings was required to stop because it was surrounded from various directions.

"Confiar, change positions!" the Queen Cleo.

Confiar retreated, swapping positions with Queen Cleo. Queen Cleo was at the very front of the king's army.

"O Sun God who is able to illuminate the twelve worlds, I beg You, grant the servant a power that is able to penetrate everything. Padmakers!" queen Cleo pointed her wand forward.

From the end of his wand, a ball of light was then shot out like a kamehameha but it was the yellow of the sun.

The demons that were in the path of the ball of light were scorched and disappeared instantly.

"Follow me!" said Queen Cleo who then spurred her horse followed by the troops of the kings.

As the army of kings began to rise, Reynald was still helpless. Vlagilles stared down at Reynald. He was disappointed that his fun ended so quickly. He was also disappointed because the figure he faced did not meet his expectations.

"The Chosen One? Did they really give you that nickname? No kidding. Where was your previous strength?" hina Vlagilles. "Time wasting. I'd better end this war." Vlagilles flicked his cloak at Reynald and turned his body toward the alliance. He slightly walked forward, being on the edge of the cliff.

Vlagilles raised his right hand forward with his palm open.

"Darkness: Thousand Darkness Spears of Death."

From behind Vlagilles, from above behind the Vlagiles, from beside behind the Vlagilles, countless black-colored magic circles appeared.

"Death."

Srok!
