The pile of sand slowly began to fill the burrow. The pale white skin with a smiling face was the last figure Reynald had seen from a Fidel.
Using his hand, Reynald slowly covered Fidel's grave. The tears that he could not bear rained down on Fidel's face.
"Fidel .. I'm sorry."
The words were constantly coming out of his mouth. Sneakily, yet anyone who heard would instantly be made goosebumps.
One more sand dune. Reynald reluctantly pulled it and closed the grave of his friend and confidant. He then picked up a wooden stick he found around the beach.
The cloth which he had torn from Fidel's clothes was tied to a wooden stick which he found and he stuck it as a marker for Fidel's grave.
Reynald tried to stand up. But his body fell down immediately. He sat beside the tomb of his friend. Crying with a wooden stick to the grave marker.
"Sorry, Fidel .... Let me cry a little longer."
***
The sun will be gone soon. Reynald is still on the same island. He went through the forest, trying to find information and find everything that could help him to survive and make plans.
"Graum!"
The roar of a tiger was heard by him. He looked to the right, and saw a white tiger with blue eyes staring hungry at him.
What should I do ...?
When Reynald was thinking, the tiger had darted towards him. With his reflexes, Reynald turned his body to the side, avoiding a direct attack from the tiger.
Noticing his missed attack, right after landing he instantly twisted his body, facing back his gaze towards his prey.
I can still avoid such an attack ...? Does that mean .. Reynald's inner being shocked.
The tiger darted back towards him, and for the second time, Reynald was able to dodge the attack from the tiger.
I've guessed. Although I could no longer use magic, but this body ..Inner Reynald looked at clenched his hand and then grinned.
The tiger immediately turned around when the two attacks again missed. He intends to directly carry out the third attack, but ....
The body of the tiger was slightly pushed back with its head facing sideways. The tiger was hit by a blow to his face.
The tiger shakes its head right and left at a glance, then it refocuses its gaze toward its prey. When his sight was clear again, he had lost track of his prey. He's confused. And in the midst of that confusion ....
Srok!
"GRRAAUUMM!!"
The tiger screamed in pain. His shout was so loud that the birds who were in the tree immediately flew.
"This body is not something that is obtained from magic!" reynald said proudly and thrust the sharp stone he carried into the tiger's neck.
The tiger in pain shook his body as hard as he could. Reynald, who was in a bull riding position, strengthened his stone prick.
The tiger shouted louder.
Reynald won't lose. The right hand that did not hold the stone, he clenched and then hit it very firmly on the head of the tiger.
The tiger weakened, but its strength did not decrease in the slightest. Reynald who was in the advantaged position did not want to buy time. He hit again continuously with his right hand and stabbed deeper with his left hand.
Tiger consciousness is diminishing. His eyes began to close. The blood doesn't stop coming out. The pain he felt from inside and outside the body could no longer be held back.
The tiger was limp and lost consciousness. His eyes were closed with Reynald still on his back.
Reynald's breathing panted. His face and clothes were splashed with the blood of the tiger. Reynald's head was facing the sky where the sun was no longer visible.
"I'm sorry, Tiger .... May you calm down up there ...."
***
The moonlight shone on the night that at this moment, the sky was crying. Reynald, intending to build a bonfire, was forced to find shelter. However, he who was unprepared for the suddenly changing weather, could only shiver in the cold inside a cave.
The cave is on top of a cliff. A cliff in the middle of the island. A cliff with a little land around it that is able to be a foothold to look around the island.
Although it has a strategic place ....
I need to find something to warm up! If I had just skinned the tiger .. but no, there was no way .... What am I supposed to do? I could die of hypothermia!
He took off his clothes, made himself almost completely naked. It leaves an underwear to cover ***********.
I had no other choice. If I keep the clothes on, my body will tremble even more. Well, even so ... It's still very cold! What kind of rain is this?!
Reynald felt the rain that was currently sweeping the island he was inhabiting was rather unnatural. The rain that fell down was really heavy, it had even counted as a storm.
Only a miracle can save me ...!
Reynald slowly began to close his eyes.
***
Reynald's eyes opened like a projector screen that was pulled and then removed.
"I ... am still alive ...?" said Reynald who coiled looking into his hand.
He then sat down slowly and looked towards the mouth of the cave.
Is it morning ... or noon? I don't know the time. But for sure, it has changed days.
Reynald's stomach rumbling. He remembered that since yesterday, he had not eaten anything. He remembered the tiger he killed yesterday, but a storm as big as yesterday must have broken the corpse of the tiger.
With a sigh and holding his stomach, he walked out of the cave.
Ah ... I'm naked, yes ...? inner Reynald looked down there was only underwear. Whatever, there's only me on this island anyway.
Reynald was looking for food. He began by finding the easiest food, which is fruit. Although many fruits have different shapes and names, Reynald can distinguish which ones can be eaten and which ones are not. Knowledge of the fruit he gained from many books he had read since setting foot in Thavma.
It is not in vain that I read these books.
After eating a lot of fruit and his stomach was filled enough, Reynald thought of making a weapon. He then looked for a stick, rope, and a small stone with a sharp tip.
He found a stick in the depths of the forest, a rope on the shore, and a small rock on the shore. The rope he found was the same one that tied him.
After finding the three materials he needed, he made a spear. Right at the moment when his spear was so, he felt a gaze that was so gripping that it gave him goosebumps.
Slowly and stiffly, he looked towards the sea.
A group of crocodiles were staring at him from the surface of the sea.
Reynald swallowed. He never thought that crocodiles could live in the sea. But he just remembered that this was a different world.
Reynald, who knew he would not win, was slowly getting ready to run. He clasped his spear firmly, his face still facing towards the crocodiles but his body was preparing to run. When he had strengthened his mentality and determination, he immediately ran as fast as he could.
The crocodiles, who had been after Reynald from the beginning, swam wildly towards Reynald. After the water was gone, they crawled. But ....
Reynald, who was about to enter the forest, glanced back to see if the crocodiles could catch up to him. And lucky, he looked back.
The crocodiles are drawn into the sand. Their wet and heavy bodies and short legs make them unable to crawl on the sand. Each time they lifted their legs and tried to move, they would return to the same hole with sand that pushed them closer to the sea.
Is this ... my chance?
Reynald, who had intended to escape, now smiled with a thousand evil plans. The crocodiles that were gripping, now the ones that are gripped. They were frightened after sensing the evil intent and saw Reynald's mouth that was as wide as a crescent moon.
***
"Crocodile meat .. I never thought it would taste like this ...."
Reynald sat on the shore with a spear standing firmly beside him and the crocodiles who had been killed, skinned, and taken away by his flesh. He ate crocodile meat without cooking it. Not that I can't cook, but all the wood in the woods is still wet from last night's storm.
Shouldn't I kill them all? I mean ... how do I preserve these meats ...?
When Reynald was thinking with his decision, he suddenly felt a pain that was like stabbing his heart.
Reynald held his chest, the flesh he held falling out of his hand. Cold sweat was flowing all over his body. Blood suddenly spurted out of his mouth.
A=what is this?! Can crocodile meat be eaten?! Why isn't there a clue in the book ...?!
Gloss ... Reynald fell forward with a lost consciousness.
