RAMADAN IN RAYYA'S HEART

Engagement Plan

Today Rayya with his friends held a graduation day after three years studying in Italy. A sense of happiness, haru and sadness mixed into one that emanated on the faces of graduates. Happy and happy because finally they can finish college on time for three years but they are also sad because they have to part with friends, lecturers and also the environment that they consider as a second family.

After the graduation ceremony was completed, Rayya, Simone, Donna and Monica chose to take pictures at the Colosseum as one of the traditions of the graduation event in Italy because they studied in the city of Rome.

" Mi mancherete tutti voi, raggazi." (I will miss you all ) Simone said as the four of them embraced each other to form a circle. While the other three women cry bitterly if the women have to part with their friends.

" Con Simone and Donna posso ancora incontrarmi. Ma con Rayya, and difficile incontrarsi." (With Simone and Donna I can still meet. But with Rayya, I will be difficult to meet ) said Monica stammered because still sobbing.

" Dobbiamo risparmiare per andare in Indonesia." (We have to save to get to Indonesia) Donna chimed in.

" Se vuoi visitare l'Indonesia, dillo and basta. Agrigento di dari a mio padre di preparare i biglietti e l'alloggio per voigazzi." (If you want to visit Indonesia, just say so. Later I will ask my father to prepare tickets and accommodation for you guys )

" Serio sei?" (You're serious) asked Donna and Monica along with round eyes.

" Sono serio." (Yes I'm serious) Rayya said

" Tuo padre and davvero ricco, Rayya!" (Your father is really rich, Rayya ) Donna was amazed when Rayya said that she would prepare tickets and accommodation for them if she, Monica and Simone would visit Indonesia.

" Questo erto, lo zio Gavin ha diversion hotel famosi in Indonesia." (To be sure, Om Gavin has some famous hotels in Indonesia) Simone who explains who the father of Rayya.

" Rayya, let's eat! Bring your friends." Gavin who saw the four friends was still engrossed in their chatter and called Rayya to eat together.

Later that night, Luigi invites Gavin's family to dinner with his family at one of the restaurants. This is not the first time Gavin has met Luigi's family, because half a year ago when Gavin visited Rayya in Rome, Luigi had introduced his parents to Gavin.

" Congratulazioni per la old laurea, Rayya." (Congratulations on your graduation, Rayya) said Clarissa, Mama of Luigi.

" Grazie, Zia Clarissa." - Rayya.

" Ci auguriamo che dopo questo il reporto tra Luigi e Rayya possa continuare a un livello pi serio." (We hope that after this the relationship between Luigi and Rayya can continue to a more serious level) said Aldo, the father of Luigi.

Aldo's words make Rayya have to swallow his saliva. He then glanced at Luigi who also turned his head towards him.

" Papa, ti prego, non parlarne adesso!" (Papa, don't talk about it now) Luigi immediately rebukes Aldo who starts talking about Rayya and Luigi's relationship.

" Come mai? Per inciso, ci sono i genitori di Rayya. Papa pensa che questo sia un buon momento per parlarne. Non vuoi sposare velocemente Rayya?" ( Why? Coincidentally here is Rayya's parents. I think this is a good time to talk about this. It's not that you want to get married quickly to Rayya ) asked Aldo who felt there was nothing wrong with his statement earlier.

Rayya let out a long sigh and exhaled slowly hearing the debate between Luigi and her Papa. This is what he is afraid of. He was only twenty-one years old at the moment while Luigi was already thirty-one. Certainly both of Luigi's parents wanted to see Luigi get married soon.

While Gavin who did not understand what was discussed between Luigi and his parents just observed the expressions of their faces. And when he glanced at Rayya's facial expression that seemed uncomfortable made him suspect that what Luigi and his Papa were talking about was something that disturbed his daughter's mind.

" Baby, what was Luigi and her Papa talking about?" On the way back to the hotel, Gavin who was curious about Luigi's chat and his parents immediately asked Rayya.

" It's nothing, Dad." Rayya tried to hide what made her heart uneasy.

" What's Luigi and the board talking about anyway, By?" Azzahra was curious.

" If I knew what they were talking about, I wouldn't be asking Baby right now, Honey."

" Oh, yes ..." Azzahra giggled as she closed her mouth. " Yes, you tell Daddy and Mommy, what was talking about that made Rayya nervous?" Now Azzahra asked Rayya to tell him the truth

Rayya took a breath first before she said what made her heart feel uneasy.

" Kak Luigi's parents were talking about Rayya's wedding plans with Luigi's sister, Mam. Om Aldo wants the marriage to be done immediately." Rayya finally tells her what really happened in the conversation between Luigi and her Papa.

" Daddy doesn't agree you're getting married, baby." Gavin also opposed Papa Luigi's wishes.

" What's the matter, By? If Rayya is ready there is no harm, By. Rayya was twenty-one years old. Age enough to get married. Besides Luigi's a good guy why would Hubby get in their way?" Azzahra disagreed with Gavin in this regard.

" Honey, I'm not satisfied enjoying being with our daughter. Three years he was separated from us for having to go to school in Italy. If she gets married fast, it means we're gonna be parting ways with our daughter, Honey."

" But Luigi promised not to take Rayya to Italy, didn't he? Luigi promised to move to Jakarta."

" Even though Luigi moved to Jakarta, if they get married they don't necessarily want to live with us. You haven't been married to me since you've been living at home with your parents, have you, Honey?" Gavin explains to Azzahra why he did not approve of Rayya getting married fast.

" At least wait another two or three years and I'll approve Baby to get married" Gavin continued.

" But if Luigi doesn't want to wait that long, how about it, By? If he finally leaves Rayya and chooses another woman who is ready to marry him, it would be a pity to let go of a future daughter-in-law like Luigi." Azzahra who already liked the figure of Luigi was worried that Luigi would turn away from Rayya.

" If Luigi really wanted Baby, he would definitely be willing to wait, Honey. If he gives up, then he is not our daughter's mate" Gavin said.

While both her parents were arguing, Rayya was more silent. Because as Gavin said if he felt unsettled by Luigi's parents' request earlier.

" Rayya wants to see Kia first, Mom." Rayya looked sadly at Azzahra. " Rayya didn't think Kia would experience that." Rayya was indeed told by Azzahra about something that befell Azkia.
