RAMADAN IN RAYYA'S HEART

Joint Agreement

On the way home, Rayya was silent. Just like when we left, but this time with a different heart. If his heart was pounding with happiness, his heart is now filled with disappointment.

" Are you sure you're going home now?" ask Ramadan.

Rayya just nodded her head until Ramadan finally steered her car back towards Gavin's house.

Meanwhile at the residence of Gavin's house ....

" Honey, what are you doing there?"

Gavin's voice rang out from inside his room as he watched his wife standing on the terrace of their bedroom balcony.

" What are you doing here, Honey?" Gavin wrapped his arms around Azzahra's waist after he approached Azzahra.

" I'm worried about Rayya, By." said Azzahra.

" What are you worried about, Honey? Baby is with the right guy for her. She must be laughing happily right now for going out with the man she likes." Gavin tries to calm his wife who seems to be very worried about Rayya.

" It's Rama's first time here, why did he have to take Rayya out? Why don't you just chat here anyway they are, By?"

Gavin chuckles while kissing his wife's cheek.

" That's because you never dated, Honey." Gavin insinuates his wife. " Let them both go, let them be more familiar so this matchmaking plan can go smoothly" Gavin said later.

But soon a car was seen stopping in front of their house and they recognized the car.

" That's them home." Azzahra immediately broke down her husband's embrace and rushed out of her room to head for the living room.

" Why are they going so fast?" muttered Gavin wonder. But soon he followed his wife down.

" You guys are home?" tanya Azzahra welcomes Rayya and Ramadhan who are seen entering the living room.

" Ashlalama, Mom."

" Asalamualaikum, Aunty."

Rayya and Ramadhan greet Azzahra at the same time.

" Waalaikumsalam's. Where did you guys go?" Azzahra looked curious, he then looked at the face of his daughter who looked sad, did not show any happiness at all because she had left with her heart.

" We were chatting at a restaurant at Grandpa's rooftop hotel, Mom." This time it was Rayya who answered Azzahra's question.

" You guys are going home very quickly. Why not enjoy the longer time to get closer?" ask Gavin who just arrived at the living room.

" Dad, there's something we want to talk about" Rayya said when she saw the appearance of his Daddy.

Gavin stared at Ramadan and Rayya alternately.

" What's up, Baby?" gavin asked as he sat his body on the sofa followed by the others.

" Dad, Mom. Rayya had talked to Kak Rama about the arranged marriage that Dad planned with Om Ricky. Rayya and Rama's brother agreed if we ..." Rayya paused her speech, she took a slow breath, because she needed strength to be able to convey the sentence after sentence she wanted to say.

" We agreed if we refused the arranged marriage that had been planned for us, '" Rayya continued.

What Rayya said suddenly made Gavin and Azzahra aghast, especially Azzahra. He knew very well that his daughter loved Ramadan. Even he saw for himself when helping Rayya decorate that his daughter was very happy when she wanted to go with Ramadan. Although with a sense of nervousness but does not cover Rayya's happy aura. " Baby, what do you mean you want to study abroad? Daddy didn't let Baby get away from Daddy." Gavin opposes Rayya's wishes.

" Dad, Rayya wants to learn to be an independent woman. It doesn't always depend on Mom and Dad."

" That's not what Rayya meant, Dad. Rayya wants to be independent, not just in matters of matter."

" Dad still disagrees with your desire to go to school abroad!" gavin is back.

" Dad, please. We can talk this later." Rayya turned towards Ramadhan who had been watching him.

" Brother Rama, if Brother Rama wants to say goodbye, please. Let Rayya explain to Daddy and Mommy that I want Dad and Mom to understand our decision." Rayya invited Ramadan to say goodbye, because he did not want Ramadan to linger in his house until he continued to listen to his debates with Gavin.

" Oh, i-yes." Ramadhan. Ramadhan has been a listener of the debate between Rayya and Daddy. His eyes did not even notice the beautiful woman. He actually saw another figure within Rayya whom he had known all along. All this time Rayya who he knew was a shy girl who did not talk much. But tonight he saw the girl seemingly straightforwardly speaking even daring to defy his Daddy words.

" Hmmm, as Rayya said earlier, Om, Auntie. We talked from heart to heart about our desires so we decided to reject this match. I apologize to Om Gavin and Aunt Rara that I have disappointed Om and Auntie."

" I'll talk to Papa Ricky and Mama Anin about this matter." Ramadhan stood and shook hands with Gavin and Azzahra. " I'm sorry to go home, Om, Auntie. Assalamualaikum .." pamit Ramadhan.

" Neurova ..." Gavin and Azzahra responded while Rayya chose to immediately step towards her room upstairs.

Azzahra who saw her daughter wanted to catch up with Rayya but she said because she followed her husband to take Ramadan first until he came out to his front house.

While arriving at Rayya in the room, the girl sighed which felt tight. She then cleansed her face with a make up remover then she headed towards the bathroom to clean her face back with water. She wanted to cry, she was not a strong woman. This was the first time she felt like a man yet she was already heartbroken for the second time. First, we saw Ramadan with Kayla. Now with Ramadan's rejection of the matchmaking their parents prepared, even Ramadan says the man likes other women. Rayya knew that her parents would definitely follow her into the room, because it was as strong as her heart held back that the tears did not fall down her cheeks.

And as true as he thought. By the time she got out of the bathroom, her Mommy had already entered her room.

" Rey, are you okay?" azzahra asked when she found her daughter out of the bathroom by wiping her face with a small towel.

" Rayya's fine, Mom." Rayya.

" Rey, what's going on? Why did you cancel the matchmaking plan, honey?" Azzahra was really curious about what really happened when Rayya and Rama left earlier.

" As Rayya said, Mom."

" Don't you like Rama, Rayya? Why did you change your mind? What did Rama say that you canceled the matchmaking plan?" Azzahra believes Rayya's decision was not due to her daughter's wishes.

" Mom, yes Rayya did like Kak Rama. But after we talked, Rayya thought what Rayya felt was just awe. Rayya doesn't like Kak Rama for wanting to have it." Rayya not only lies to her Mommy, but also lies to herself.

Azzahra was still looking at what her daughter said. He still believes that Rayya is not telling the truth.

" So Kak Rama said, after Rayya graduated, he wanted to get married immediately and asked Rayya to take care of Kak Rama completely. But Rayya disagrees because Rayya wants to pursue art college and realize Rayya's desire to become a painter, Mom." Rayya re-created the story in order to convince her Mommy if she was okay.

" Honey, Baby ... What exactly happened?" Gavin who just entered Rayya's room immediately asked because he was curious.

" Dad, Mom, let's talk about this next time, yeah. Rayya is tired of wanting to rest. But Mom and Dad don't have to worry because Rayya's okay, really." " All right, tomorrow we'll talk about your plans to study abroad." Looks like Gavin still can't accept his son's request to go to college in a place far away from him.

After her parents left the room, Rayya immediately locked the door of the room then she threw her body and shed her disappointment by crying with the sound of crying muffled by pillows.
