RAMADAN IN RAYYA'S HEART

Source of Problem

Dirga and Kayla seemed to not believe her hearing when she heard Luigi say using Indonesian which was quite fluent.

“ Hmmm, you can speak in Bahasa Indonesia, Mr Corradeo?” kayla asked still in shock as she turned to Dirga.

“ Of course! I will marry an Indonesian woman, of course I must be able to master the language of her country.” Luigi said very confidently. It is certain that Gavin's decision to ask him to immediately accelerate the engagement with Rayya made him very happy, so that his happy aura emanated on the Italian man's face.

“ Turns out you are so confident with your plans, Mr Corradeo?” Dirga smiled, to be honest he felt amazed by the young man before him that was very dignified. Reminds him of when he was young.

“ Thank you, Sir. Just call me Luigi.” Luigi still kindly served Dirga. “ Oh yes, actually what do you want to talk to me about Rayya, Sir? Where does Mr Dirga know my future wife?” luigi asked confidently telling Rayya as his future wife.  

Dirga smiled faintly in response to Luigi's question. “ I knew Rayya while she was still in her Mommy belly, or arguably I knew both of Rayya's parents before they met and married.” Dirga explained.

“ What do you mean Mr Dirga, this Master is a friend of Om Gavin and Aunt Azzahra?” Luigi seems surprised to find out if the person in front of him is a friend of Rayya's parents.

“ Yes like that,” said Dirga later.

“ Then what problem did Master meet me? Does it have anything to do with Om Gavin too?” ask Luigi curiously.

“ Could be like that. Look Luigi, may I call you with Luigi only?” ask Dirga.

“ Of course, Sir. Please ..” Luigi did not mind Dirga calling by her name alone because she appreciated Dirga's age which was far above her age.

“ Actually I and Gavin have been friends since decades ago, even starting from our parents. My parents and Gavin's parents have started working together on business until we finally became friends and our kinship relationship has continued to this day. We want to continue our friendship between these two great families by bringing our children together.” Dirga explained at length about the relationship between the two big families Laksmana and Richard.

Luigi frowned when he heard Dirga's statement about bringing our children together.

“ I mean Mr Dirga unite our children, are you planning to match your son with the son of Om Gavin?” asked Luigi who started to piqued with Dirga's words earlier. Who are the children you mean?  Gavin had one daughter and three sons.  It is unlikely that Gavin's three sons will be betrothed to the Dirga's, as Gavin's three sons have nothing to do with him. So it is impossible for Dirga to meet him to discuss the three men of Gavin, thought Luigi.

Dirga looked at Luigi. If he could be honest, he admitted Luigi's charm was so strong. Even Ramadhan can be said to be far below Luigi from all sides, no wonder if Gavin must have blessed Rayya's relationship with the young man in front of her at this time. If he were to become Gavin, he would love to have a daughter-in-law like Luigi.

“ Luigi, honestly I really admire you. I know Gavin very well, he is very possessive of his daughter. Not all men can get close to Rayya, only the man trusted by her can get close and get the blessing of Gavin to be with Rayya. So I thought if you were a good guy.” Dirga acknowledges the advantages possessed by Luigi.

“ Thank you, Mr.” Luigi quickly thanked Dirga for the praise he had given him.

“ I think you deserve the best woman to be your life partner, Luigi. Get a woman who can love wholeheartedly.”

Luigi sighed. He knows until now Rayya still can not fully love him, but he is sure as time goes by Rayya's love will grow more and more for him. 

“ I will get the woman asap, Om!” luigi insists because she feels sure Rayya is the best woman for her.

While Dirga and Luigi were talking to each other, Kayla continued to watch Luigi closely. From the attitude of Luigi who seemed mature and wise as well, he said that was calm, polite and very straightforward, without realizing that Kayla felt amazed by the young lecturer in front of her.

“ Luigi, do you want to keep a woman who doesn't love you? Do you want to live with a woman who loves another man?” Dirga deliberately asked questions that might provoke Luigi's emotions.

“ What is Mr Dirga's relationship with a man named Ramadan?” Luigi intelligently guessed, because if the woman Dirga meant was Rayya, it was definitely the man she meant Dirga was Ramadan. Because Luigi already knows if the man Rayya likes is Ramadan.

Dirga and Kayla were both surprised to see each other because it turned out Luigi also knew about Ramadan.

“ You know Ramadan, Mr Corradeo?’ This time Kayla asked.

“ I have met twice with Ramadan,” Luigi said. “ Then what is your relationship with Ramadan?” ask Luigi back.

“ She's my cousin,” Kayla replied.

“ The father of Ramadan is my family's adopted son. Dad Ramadhan much meritorious for the progress of our family company and we already consider them like family themselves.” Dirga explained how he was related to Ramadan.

“ Then what purpose did you meet me to unite your nephew with Rayya? What purpose did you come to ask me to step down and release Rayya? Do you know, the Lord's nephew has hurt Rayya many times?” Luigi seemed to have read what Dirga's purpose was to meet him.

“ I know my niece was so stupid that she lost the trust Gavin gave her. But the truth is Rayya still loves Ramadan very much. You look at this! This happened yesterday, after Gavin hit Ramadan.” Dirga then showed a cut of cctv footage outside his study as Rayya approached Ramadan worried, even Rayya was seen crying when he saw the face of Ramadan that had been bruised by Gavin.

Luigi let out a long sigh, he could indeed see how Rayya seemed to be worried about Ramadan. Luigi noticed the time it happened. The time shown on the cctv tape happened after Gavin called him to immediately speed up the engagement with Rayya. What is the reason that makes Gavin ask her to get engaged quickly? thought Luigi.

" You can see how Rayya cried when the man she loved was beaten by her Daddy?"

" That man doesn't deserve Rayya's love!" luigi said Ramadan does not deserve a woman as good as Rayya.

* I also agree with you, Luigi. But in fact Rayya happiness is in Ramadan. Many times disappointed but not to make his love for my stupid nephew recede. Especially now that Ramadan has reciprocated Rayya's love, so there is no harm if the two people who love each other are united."

" I'm not going to let Rayya go for any man including your niece, Mr. Dirga!" luigi insisted.

" Luigi, maybe you should be able to understand this one thing. Love does not have to have. If you force your will to get a woman who doesn't love you, I don't think it's love but obsession. If we love someone, let him achieve his happiness, even if that person's happiness is not with us." Dirga spoke wisely without him knowing if he had always forced his will when he wanted to get Kirania.

" I'm sorry, Mr. Dirga. I have to go back to teaching. And I think my decision is very clear. I'm not going to let Rayya go!" Luigi then got up from his seat. " Excuse me Mr. Dirga, Miss Kayla, Assalamualaikum ..." Luigi then said goodbye.

" Waalaiakumsalam .." said Dirga and Kayla together. And soon Luigi walked away from them.

" He really looked like your father when he was young, Kayla." Dirga tilted her head as she spoke as if whispering to Kayla. " If you want to find a companion, look for a man like him! Now this is your job, Kayla."

" Don't you think Papa doesn't know that you've been watching this man with awe, Kayla."

Kayla slips. He did not realize that Dirga was watching him in the midst of the seriousness of the brother of his father talking to Luigi.

After being picked up from Ramadhan's apartment, Rayya immediately ran to his room. Even while in the car during the drive home, Rayya just mutely did not say a word to Gavin.

" Relance ..." Azzahra immediately approached Rayya in her daughter's room. " Where are you really going? Good thing you met Rama, if not ... Daddy's the same Mommy confused looking for you, honey." Azzahra rubbed Rayya's head which was still covered with hijab.

" Mom, why does Daddy always manage Rayya's life? Daddy always says dear to Rayya, in fact Daddy's decision is always difficult for Rayya, Mom," complained Rayya.

" Dear, Daddy was like that. But Rayya don't be so bad about Daddy. Your Daddy's past makes you afraid you'll get the sap of what your Daddy did first." Azzahra tried to defend her husband. " Rayya is Daddy's only daughter. You know what happened to Kia, right? Kia who is good at martial arts alone cannot protect herself from people who do evil, what about Rayya? That's why Daddy is so worried about you, baby," Azzahra said.

" But that does not mean Daddy can arbitrarily on Brother Rama, Mom! Is Daddy still not satisfied punishing Brother Rama? What's in it for Daddy to persecute Kak Rama?" Rayya changed his position until now sitting down.

" Daddy is always angry at Brother Rama. Daddy always accused Kak Rama of being the most guilty of Rayya, even though all this was because Daddy was the cause!" Rayya went back to blaming her Daddy. " If Daddy wasn't planning Rayya and Rama's match, it wouldn't be like this, would it, Mom?" Rayya leaned her head against Mommy's shoulder.

" Pity Brother Rama, Mom. Rama regretted his actions. Rayya feel Daddy's attitude towards Kak Rama is too excessive. Rayya is not good with Brother Rama, Mom."

" Rayya .. does Rayya still expect Rama?" Azzahra could feel if his daughter was still unable to remove the name Ramadan in her heart.

" Why is Mommy talking like that?" Rayya kept her head away from Azzahra and turned her face away.

" Rayya, you'll soon be engaged to Luigi, don't worry about your decision, dear." Azzahra tries to remind her daughter of the engagement plans that will be planned soon.

" Rayya is confused, Mom." Rayya massaged her temple because if she could tell the truth, she was actually still not ready to get engaged.

" Mom, can't Mom ask Daddy to resign this engagement? Rayna ... Rayya's not ready, Mom." Finally Rayya ventured to express her heart.

" Rayya wants to postpone the engagement? Does this have anything to do with Rayya's meeting with Rama? Rayna ... Rayya has to be honest with herself. Rayya does want to stay with Luigi or Rayya wants to forgive Rama and give a chance to Rama?"

Rayya now turned her head towards Azzahra before finally she lowered her head.

" Rayya doesn't know, Mom." she said softly.

" Rayya, if Rayya doesn't want an engagement with Luigi, it's best to say good from now on and give Luigi some understanding. Don't let a case like Rama and Farah's engagement yesterday happen to you, dear." Azzahra who feels his daughter is currently very depressed because she is faced with a difficult position trying to advise her daughter again so as not to be wrong in making her choice.

" And Daddy's gonna hang Rayya alive." Rayya rolled her eyeballs. " Rayya is confused, Mom. Rayya really can't think with the choices Rayya faces." Rayya massaged her temple.

" If Rayya is still confused do not forget to pray at night, to ask for help to be given determination to make a choice."

" Mom, if Rayya's choice is not what Mommy wants, will Mommy be disappointed?" asked Rayya hesitatingly.

" If Rayya's choice makes Rayya happy, Mommy's desire doesn't matter, dear. Mommy will be happy if Rayya is happy. And whatever Rayya's choice, Mommy hopes it's best for Rayya." Azzahra then hugged his daughter, giving her peace amid the turmoil that struck her only daughter from her and Gavin's marriage.

" How, Honey? What did Baby say?' gavin asks when he sees his wife coming back from Rayya's room.

" Have Hubby not returned to the office?" Azzahra was shocked when she found her husband still in their house.

" I'm afraid Baby's running away again, Honey" Gavin said, unable to shake off his possessiveness.

" Hubby, Hubby don't be so hard on Rayya, pity her. If Rayya is stressed because of this problem how?"

" Honey, how could you say such a thing!" Gavin seems to not accept Azzahra saying Rayya can be stressful. " Did Honey forget that speech is prayer? Honey prayed for Baby stress? Does Honey not love Baby to pray like that?"

" Aren't I loving Rayya? Who always forbids Rayya can not be like this, can not that who? Hubby always blames others, but Hubby himself is the most guilty! Hubby's the real source of trouble for Rayya!" azzahra then walked away leaving her husband alone.
