RAMADAN IN RAYYA'S HEART

Go home to Jakarta

Just like Ramadan who met Farah and immediately caused gossip. The same thing happened to Rayya and Luigi. The presence of the two of them in the campus cafeteria attracted the attention of other students, especially after they learned information from Mother Maria if Luigi was a favorite student in her class. Rayya had just folded her alphabet after performing the Maghrib prayer when she heard William knock on her door.

" Sister Willy, what's wrong?" rayya asked as her sister then went inside her room and sat on Rayya's sofa.

" Sister heard rumors about you in the college cafeteria this afternoon," William said without further ado to make Rayya round her eyeballs.

" Who was that man and where did you know him until you could be with him in the cafeteria this afternoon?" ask William full of probes.

" He's Luigi, brother. And he's our college alumni, too." Rayya tries to explain what she knows about Luigi.

" How can you be with him?" william asked like a detective investigating a case.

" That's when Rayya just got out of class to meet him, he kept taking Rayya to the cafeteria." Rayya was honest.

" Why did he take you? Did you know him before?"

Rayya noticed William, he was like finding the figure of Gavin in William if it was like this.

" We met earlier at Grande Moschea some time ago."

" And you tell him if you go to college there?"

Simone who found Rayya sitting next to him immediately gasped. He turned his head towards the girl who was developing a smile but before long he came back serious with the book he was reading.

Rayya who saw Simone did not respond to his greeting immediately took out a paper and wrote something on the paper.

" A ti sei ripreso?" (You're cured) Rayya wrote the sentence and put the paper in front of Simone but Simone just glanced over without responding.

" Sei arrabbiato with me?" (Are you angry with me )

Rayya wrote and handed Simone the paper she had written. Simone again only read Rayya's writing but the man still flinch not responding to Rayya.

Rayya took back the paper she wrote and re-wrote the sentence on the paper for the third time.

" A by way of Luigi?" (What is this because of Luigi ) Rayya again thrust the paper to Simone and again Simone just read Rayya's writing. But this time Simone's rough snort of breath was heard in Rayya's ears.

" Mi scusa per averti disturbato." (I'm sorry I bothered you) Rayya wrote the last sentence on the paper and left the library after handing the paper back to Simone.

Rayya rushed out of the library and walked towards the campus garden. He then sat his body in the garden chair. Simone's attitude like that certainly makes her feel sad. All this time the man had never ignored her like this, but this time Simone really did not want to talk even avoiding her.

Rayya looked at some students who seemed to be talking and joking not far from him. After two days of not seeing Simone because Simone had just healed, she seemed to miss her best friend very much. A friend who is always there when he is happy even when he is sad.

While from a distance Simone looked at Rayya who was sitting pensively in the garden chair. Actually, when Rayya left the library, she also soon followed Rayya's steps. He actually could not afford to ignore Rayya like now. But jealousy with Luigi's presence made him do something stupid like this. He did not dismiss if Luigi's presence caused worry in his heart. Because he who had been trying to conquer Rayya's heart but was hindered by belief seemed to be defeated by Luigi who seemed to be interested in Rayya as well.

Rayya raised her head when she heard the voice of Simone who was now standing near the chair she was sitting on.

" Mone ..." Rayya's eyeballs now look teary when he finds Simone is now nearby. Rayya immediately wiped her tears so as not to spill on her cheeks.

" Ehi, peach piangi?" ( Hey, why are you crying) Simone was surprised to find Rayya crying.

" Pensavo fossi arrabbiato con me e non volessi pi agore mio amico." (I thought you were mad at me and didn't want to be my friend anymore) Rayya said the reason she was crying.

" Ovviamente siamo ancora amici. Sono ancora tuo amico e tu sei ancora mia amica." (Of course we're still friends. I'm still your friend and you're still my friend ) Simone tried to convince Rayya who seemed sad because of her attitude.

" Scusa se mi comporto come un bambino in quel modo. Sono davvero geloso per la preenza di Luigi." (I'm sorry if I'm being so mean. I was jealous of Luigi's presence) Simone admitted her mistake.

" See il mio migliore amico, Simone. Imporante in Luigi," (You are my best friend, Simone. You're more important than Luigi ) Rayya is now wiping Simone's arm.

" Grazie ..." Simone forced to smile. Because for Rayya, he will forever be considered a friend.

" A proposito, Michelle ti ha chiamato?" (By the way, did Michelle contact you) asked Rayya then remembered her mission to bring Simone closer to Michelle.

Simone turned towards Rayya while gnashing her forehead.

" They, Signore." Rayya then got up and approached William.

" Grazie Signore's. Mi scusi." (Thank you, sir. Excuse me ) William said goodbye to Mr. Matteo then walked out of the classroom.

" Mi Scusi, Signor Matteo." (Excuse me Mr. Matteo) Rayya said goodbye to Mr. Matteo then followed William's step out of the class.

" What's up, brother?" rayya asked as the two of them were already outside the classroom.

" We go back to Jakarta now" William said in a serious tone.

" Go back to Jakarta? What's wrong, brother?" Suddenly worry begins to whack Rayya's heart.

" It's nothing, but Daddy told us to go home now. Hurry up, we're on a plane at 10:55." William hastened his pace.

Rayya was getting curious. He believes William is hiding something he doesn't want to know right now. I don't know what happened in Jakarta, but Rayya felt something bad happening there.
