Rainbow At The End of Longing

Rainbow At The End of Longing
39. Double Thanksgiving

After Mas Awan informed us about our plan to hold the Angkasa baby aqiqah event as well as the one-year anniversary of our wedding, all the families welcomed our plans and were willing to help prepare everything needed for the Thanksgiving.

A little hassle indeed, considering the time that is short and only two days left. But alhamdulillaah everything can be resolved in time because of the help of all the families and also the employees in the cafe Mas Awan.

And today, the Thanksgiving double event has finally arrived. This afternoon, ba'da Dzuhur, the Thanksgiving double event will be held at Papa Surya's house. There is no special event, because indeed I and Mas Awan only want a simple event. Given the preparation time is only a short time as well.

By inviting all family and relatives, our neighbors, friends, and also the children of an orphanage located not far from the Papa Surya housing complex, the afternoon celebration and celebration was also held.

Alhamdulillaah all the series of thanksgiving events during the day is running smoothly. Starting from the opening, the reading of the holy verses of the Qur'an, the recitation and tausiyah, the reading of the do'a for baby Angkasa Isnan Putra is also for the good of my household and Mas Awan in the future, and also the closure. I am grateful that everything can go well and smoothly.

And now is a friendly event and also a banquet for all invited guests who have attended during the day. One by one they all then congratulated and do'a-do'a both for baby Angkasa and also my household along with Mas Awan.

"Sister Shofi," called Ayesha who came along with her parents, Om Yas and Aunt Nia.

"Ayesha," I said.

Ayesha and I hugged.

"Congratulations for the birth of baby space. May be a good child and be a family pride later. Congratulations also for the first anniversary of the wedding of Kak Shofi and Kak Awan. May you always be happy and lasting until the end of your life. Aamiin Ya'a robbal 'alamiin," Ayesha said after letting go of our embrace.

"Aamiin, O Allah. Thank you so much, Sha, for all your prayers. Thank you for coming too" I said thank you.

"Yes, sister, you're welcome" said Ayesha. "Congratulations, Brother Awan," Ayesha told Mas Awan next to me.

"Thank you, Sha," replied Mas Awan.

Ayesha nodded her head while smiling. I then turned to Om Yas and Aunt Nia.

"Om Yas, Aunt Nia" I said to Ayesha's parents.

"Congratulations, Shofi. All the best do'a for you and your little family, yes," said Aunt Nia as she hugged me.

"Aamiinu. Thank you very much, Auntie," I said.

Aunt Nia then let go of her embrace to me. After that, I also touched Om Yas. Mas Awan then went to experience Om Yas and Aunt Nia as well.

"Congratulations, Shofi, Clouds" said Om Yas.

"Thank you very much, Om," Me and Mas Awan answered simultaneously.

"Sorry, Shofi. Dirga can not come. He's out of town with Sean" said Aunt Nia.

"Yes, Auntie, no pa-pa. Aunty Nia, Om Yas, and Ayesha came, I was so happy" I replied.

After Ayesha and her parents, it is now the turn of my friends while still working at SR Group. Om Azril, Mbak Billa, Mbak Tari, and others too. Including Chika. Because Chika is also working at SR Group now, replacing the position I left first. Hamzah replaced Hana who resigned after marriage.

I'm so happy because I finally got to meet up with all my old friends. We talked for a long time, letting go of our longing.

Then, as Umi Nur said yesterday when she called me, today only Nisa can come to this Thanksgiving event, representing all Abah Imron families. And what makes me also Mas Awan and the others surprised is that Nisa came along with Chef Yudha. Well, it looks like someone is secretly making an approach.

About an hour later, finally all the invited guests have finished congratulating and also praying for the kindness of baby Angkasa and also my household along with Mas Awan.

Coincidentally baby Angkasa woke up because he wanted to drink ASI. I then took baby Angkasa from my mother and gave it my ASI, accompanied by Mas Awan. Itung-itung all took a short rest as well after we both received congratulations from all the invited guests present.

After nursing baby Angkasa, I then return baby Angkasa to my mother. I then removed the nursing apron I was wearing. After that, my eyes were unintentionally on Chika who was currently staring intensely at Hamzah and Ayesha who seemed to be playing with Keinan.

"What's concerned, honey?" ask the Clouds to me.

"Oh, no, Mom. That, just look at Chika again," I replied as I turned towards Mas Awan.

"Yes, Mommy" I replied.

"Hmm, what's wrong with Chika, baby?" ask the Clouds.

"There's nothing, Mom. Just from then on how I noticed Chika always worried towards Hamzah and Ayesha continued, yes," I replied.

"Eh, still can't move on nor is he from Hamzah, huh?"

"I don't know either, Mom. I'm yuk, Mas."

"Where?"

"Nyamperin Hamzah with Ayesha. Yes, I want to warn them both, so as not to show too much their affection. Avoiding unwanted things to happen."

"Yes already. Come on, Mas temenin."

I nodded my head. Me and Mas Awan then walked over to Hamzah and Ayesha who were currently busy accompanying Keinan to play it.

"Dec," call me as soon as I get near Hamzah, Ayesha, and Keinan.

Hamzah, Ayesha, and Keinan stopped their playing activities and turned towards me and Mas Awan.

"Sister Shofi, Brother Cloud," Hamzah replied.

"Mother, Papa," call Keinan too.

"Yes, brother," I returned Keinan's call with a smile.

"What's up, brother?" ask Hamzah.

"There's nothing, Dek. Only brother wants to ngingetin with you as Ayesha," I replied.

"What's loggingetin, brother?" ask Ayesha too.

"So I see from earlier Chika always worried about the two of you. So brother just want to ngingetin the same you two, do not show too fondness you two first. Avoiding unwanted things to happen" I replied, warning Hamzah and Ayesha.

"Oh, that problem. Yes, yes, Brother. Yesha also knew that from then on Chika always worried about us. Yesha also told Hamzah as well. Thank you, Brother Shofi, we've got it on us" Ayesha said.

"Yes, Sha, same. Brother just does not want if things happen that are not desired," I reply.

"Yes, brother, we know. Thank you, yes, it's been learned," Hamzah said.

"Yes, Dek, you're welcome" I said again.

"It turns out you're great too, Ham. Can make Chika to hard move on that from you," teased Mas Awan.

"The Cloud."

"Nice Cloud."

Hamzah and I spoke together. While Mas Awan immediately laughed. Ayesha also laughed.

"By the way," I said slowly.

"Hehe, sorry, honey. Joking," replied Mas Awan with a snort.

I shook my head a few times. This husband of mine if I've framed his ignorant fashion is indeed difficult. They often talk to themselves. But that's what always brings the mood to life.
